Absolutely useless. They lie.

They don't even come to my house. They say they carded me.. But they don't even come anywhere near my house. Then mark my parcel as back at the depot 2 minutes after supposedly trying to deliver to me... The depot is 40 minutes away from me. They lie. I rely on viking for next day delivery. They switched from dpd which was brilliant.. To menzies which is absolutely ridiculous. I've had to go and unload my items from their van myself before because they didn't want to walk it down my alley. Ridiculous. Wish viking would change back.

Parcel was apparently dropped off bit…

Parcel was apparently dropped off bit it's no where to be seem. Looking through peoples reviews this is happening all the time. Clearly workers are stealing the package and nothing is getting done about it. I'm away to contact the police

Shocking company

Shocking company. Refuse to help find the parcel they have delivered "Somewhere" but not where it should be. refuse to let us speak to managers to try and sort the issue and generally very rude.
DO NOTY USE AT ANY COST

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking! Ordered a printer from Viking direct and the tracking from Menzies said it was scanned at cullompton, then the next day at Carlisle then a couple of days later back at cullompton, then suddenly it just disappeared, never been seen since. If a company your buying from uses Menzies then think twice!

Unbelievably bad

I really can't begin to describe just how bad this company is. I am waiting for a delivery which is overdue. There is no phone number or email contact and they don't even recognise their own tracking number which they supplied. Either this is a scam operation or they are contenders for the worst company in the land.

Do not use this company!

I ordered flooring from UK flooring direct and the delivery guy was so rude to me! I live one up in a flat and paid extra for “doorstep delivery” so I thought. First of of all when he arrived he kept buzzing the buzzer which I found strange and I let him in, opened the door to him speaking to me in a aggressive tone asking why I wasn’t speaking on the buzzer. I told him that I buzzed him in and didn’t think it was needed for me to speak to him… he wasn’t at all pleased and proceeded to walk to his van bringing the stuff to the very bottom of the stairs. I was home alone due to my boyfriend being at work and had to carry all the boxes of heavy flooring upstairs myself as this man did not help one bit despite paying £15 for “doorstep delivery”. The man was rude and so unhelpful! Avoid If you can I certainly won’t be using this company out of choice !!

Do Not Use Menzies

Order from Viking was scanned into Bristol depot twice. The parcel tracking was then changed some 3 hours later to 'not found'. Have advised Viking that I will not be using them again as they use a delivery company that cannot fulfill their obligations. Viking have reissue the items but I do not hold out much hope/prospect of receiving it any time soon if at all.

Apparently they try to deliver a parcel or so they said, so as according to the I was not home I called their office no answer then I emailed them to the email provided on my email only to find out that the 2 emails I have sent were deleted without being read, very unprofessional, still dont know how to contact them. No my choice of company. Hope I get some reply tomorrow

Dreadful

Dreadful. Their tracking said they had delivered to me and I had signed for it. In fact I was at a wedding miles away. Our concierge was at the property and did not receive any parcel. He even checked the cctv.
The courier clearly lied!
Viking Direct really need to stop using this courier otherwise they will lose a lot of business

Menzies really are the worst couriers I…

Menzies really are the worst couriers I have experienced. I guess they are the cheapest but they are certainly not reliable. My order was loaded onto the van on Monday but never arrived. Tracking showed it was back at the hub all day Tuesday and was finally delivered on Wednesday. The driver could not give any reasons he just grinned. I guess he cannot speak English. My order was from Viking and I used to get my order very early next day - I will have to find a new supplier if this disgraceful delivery service happens again.

Very poor service

I live in the West Highlands, Scotland and, as we are a remote area, all parcels except for Royal Mail parcels, are delivered by a Menzies driver. I am a 68 year old with health problems who lives alone and there are steps and a path up the hill from the road to my front door. The Menzies driver can't be bothered so leaves parcels, no matter how heavy, at the gate at the bottom of the path. Recently they left a 12kg cardboard and paper bag of dog food there for the rain to dissolve into mush as I am not able to lug it up the hill. The sending company complained but nothing changed. Parcels via Royal Mail are taken to my front door. Very poor service!

Useless!

If I could give zero stars I would. Two parcels have just been delivered by a lovely neighbour who lives at Number 11 in my street, I live at number 42 !! The parcels from Viking Direct were sent 1 September & the man said were literally dumped on his doorstep, no knock at the door or anything, he left his house & found them. Viking Direct have just made me go elsewhre too due to their choice in courier partners.

Tracking a joke, good luck getting your parcels.

Ordered via Viking-Dierct.

Parcel loaded on Monday then some non-specific "error" message in the tracking info.

Viking assured me it would be with me the next day and was not loaded as either the van was too full, or the drop was too far for the driver!

Tuesday comes along, parcel is loaded (twice, according to the tracking info), then no other tracking info emerges until the parcel ends up back at the depo. Absolutley hopeless.

Next day delivery on an item ordered Thursday looks like being the following Wednesday (if I am lucky). I actually need this item with a degree of urgency, looks like Viking-Direct have lost my future custom because of how bad Menzies have performed.

I know delivery sercives have a bad reputation, but this lot take the prize for the very worst.

This is a joke

This is a joke. So my Viking parcel was supposed to arrive on Friday (very important for my law coursework, which is due on Monday). Judging by the tracking info, delivery driver loaded the parcel into the van on Friday morning, had enough by lunchtime and buggered off on a pub crawl. I now have to wait till next week (if I'm lucky to get it at all). Since I need the item for this weekend, I have to get it elswhere. Definitely won't be buying from Viking ever again

Menzies service disappointing.

Menzies delivery service very disappointing.my first time using these through parcel 2 go and it was not a good experience. Delivery driver never arrived and when I tryed to contact the company I was on hold for 36 minutes and still never managed to speak to anyone.Disgusting service.Their prices are cheap for a reason.i will keep with the great and friendly service of dx48 and parcelforce from now on.Lesson learned.keep away from menzies courier service.Parcel 2 go need to remove you from their service.

Awful service

Awful service. Viking next day delivery is now an absolute joke since they started using this company. I will never buy anything again from a company that use Menzies to deliver. Viking you have just lost a long-standing customer.

Terrible customer service and awful…

Terrible customer service and awful communication.
This email I sent to their Aberdeen depot sums it up nicely, “Since nobody in the management team in Aberdeen had the courtesy to call me back as promised yesterday, here is my complaint regarding very poor customer service and communication. On Saturday 14 August I placed an order for fresh produce from a butchers in Burntisland. I was told delivery would be made via APC/Menzies on Tuesday 17 August and received an email with a link to tracking and I noted that it stated it was out for delivery at 0854 hours that day. By 1650 hours, I hadn’t received anything, there was no update on tracking and nobody had contacted me. I phoned the Aberdeen depot at this time and was advised that the driver had my parcel, that he had 8 more deliveries to make and to expect my parcel soon. By 2000 hours that evening, nothing had arrived and tracking still showed out for delivery. Given the goods were time critical, I advised my supplier and cancelled my order. I had stayed in all day for a parcel that was not delivered. I phoned back on Wednesday 15 August, looking for an explanation. I was advised that the driver ‘had tried the intercom last night but got no response’. This unfortunately was a blatant lie, as I stay in a private dwelling and certainly do not have any intercom system. Then at 1100 hours that day, there was a card at my door advising delivery had been made to a nearby address, who are people I do not know. I had to call your Aberdeen depot yet again and this time spoke to a different staff member. She apologised and said she would get the driver to return and uplift the goods. I asked why the driver had not knocked at my door as I was in - no explanation given. I also asked for further details about yesterday’s saga and she advised that the driver had said he couldn’t make the delivery as the road was shut. I asked what road, as I had visitors from Fife who made it to my house okay and there are numerous routes of entry to my area, but she didn’t know. So now we have two completely different versions of events as to why delivery was not made, so she said someone from the management team would call me back when they got out of their ‘meeting’. Nobody did call back, hence this lengthy complaint regarding extremely poor service and communication. I do hope you can find a couple of minutes to get back to me.”
The delivery manager did email me the following day but only after the submission of a complaint. Failed to answer all of points and no apology forthcoming.
Really poor service yet again, avoid if possible.
