If it was possible to give 0 stars then that would be the best way to put them in a category of unprofessional delivery companies.
Checking up on a delivery that should have been here Friday. On their site it said delivered with a line as to who signed for this. So i have spoken to customer service who actually said no managers available to talk to and she could not give me the depots contact no all she could do was email the department for missing parcels. And they would get back to me when they have investigated the issue fully within 14 days.
This company has nothing but rubbish reviews and the odd 1 or 2 good ones.
Cant believe just how bad this company actually is.
And they don't look like they even respond to trustpilot reviews. SAYS IT ALL.

The most abysmal $h1tfest ever. I have now wasted three days on a package that they have "lost" again. How do you lose a large heavy package 3 times? Maybe it will be lucky number 4, but not holding my breath.

Do not work here . They are so rude and mean .The day l started work at Menzies distribution in Coventry l arrived very early because l was very excited .After about 2 hrs of working this guy named Liam told me he wanted to talk to me and he told me l need to leave .He was very unprofessional .l asked him if l could borrow a phone because mine wasn’t working he said no , l asked if l could go ask people l was working with he said you need to leave like he was in a hurry to get me out. He then kicked me out . It took me about 2 1/2 to find someone with a cellphone to contact someone to pick me up . I didn’t even get paid for the hrs l worked .

This company failed to deliver an item I purchased on eBay. It got lost and they kept me and the seller running around from depot to depot. The value of the item "lost" was £415. Menzies claimed they had no record of the item in their system so washed their hands of any responsibilty. The seller had to refund me out of his own pocket. This company is a disgrace and should never be used.
Menzies distribution centre in Preston…
Menzies distribution centre in Preston has to be one of the worst organisations ever. They are crippling small businesses with their 'can't give a $h1t attitude'. The deliver papers when they feel like it. No apologies or compensation. They increase charges without any improvement or justification. Their staff openly tell you they 'can't be bothered' and management has no SLAs or KPIs to work towards. Also they are aware they have no competition so they have no need to provide even a half decent service. Paper deliveries with the previous distribution company came at 6, Menzies deliver at 8! So many customers lost due to the pathetic inadequate faceless organisation.

Let me down rotten. Delivery from Viking was tracked, undelivered and logged as "business closed". Absolute joke. I was in the premises all day and did not see a delivery driver! Driver probably couldn't be bothered to find the signposted reception. Waiting for a redelivery. I needed the delivery urgently so used Viking as they promised next day delivery. I will not use Menzies or Viking again. Does Viking not realise this company is losing them business?
Viking/Menzies mess
Viking deliver product via Menzies Distribution. As others have noticed, rather unreliable, supposed to have been delivered on Friday but couldn;t find the house, only 10 in postcode. Sent out on MOnday returned to base with comment "quarantine" whatever that means.
Why does Viking uise this bunch? Surely Viking is aware, as I will avoid Viking in these circumstances.

Missed deliveries over 5 working days with the items apparently being constantly returned to depot.
In the end I cancelled the order with the supplier, and went elsewhere, but before actually placing the order, I made sure that their chosen courier was not Menzies.

Absolutely awful distribution company. The newspapers and magazines for our store are always late. Customers are furious at us because of the company. Customer service department is so extremely rude. Nobody wants to take accountability for their actions within the company. Publishers need to be aware of how they are treating us customers.

My parcel was delivered to Menzies Aberdeen from APC Trax on 17/06/2021 and it’s now 25/06/2021 and I still have not received it,when I phoned they told me by mistake it was sent to Lerwick Shetland . What a company, got a letter this morning about making sure packing slips are on the tote boxes when half the time they dont even come in with one (just yesterday a box had no identity tag) resulting in us getting charged for the tote boxes, haven’t had a delivery note for 6 days now but they managed to print the tote warning letters 🤣🤣🤣, papers after 6am nearly every day making it hard for the lads to deliver and then get to school on time and charged for 100 euro 2020 stickers today but no sign of them so another £90 I will have to fight to get back, even worse when we dont even want them must of had over 1000 delivered and sent back, probably delivered to someone’s else’s shop 🤣🤣🤣 what a company and this is nearly everyday!!!!!!

I have never been more appalled with a companies services than I am now. I am 6 months pregnant and live in an upper floor flat. I have been waiting on some flat pack furniture to arrive, which I have now been waiting for for some time due to the lack of help given and responsibility taken by the Inverness menzies distributors. My door was knocked and I was given approximately 10 seconds to make my way down the stairs to answer the door. By the time I reached the door, there was the most unprofessional note I have ever seen, written on a scrap bit of paper. This angered me as not only was I not given a chance to answer the door, the driver failed to use a slip from the company with crucial information on it that I'd need to rearrange my parcels being put out for delivery again. The note reads, "JOHN MENZIES HAVE CALLED 2DAY WITH FLAT PACK NO ONE HOME SO GONE BACK TO INVERNESS. 13:32".
Upon trying to phone the Inverness Depo to explain what had happened, the woman on the phone refused to help as I couldn't provide her with any information on the delivery slip that should have been left by the driver. After phoning the company my furniture was ordered from initially by my grandmother, they could only help me with what information they had. I was told by menzies in Inverness that because the parcels had my address and my grandmothers address on it, they couldn't just leave it in my doorway for me nor disclose any info on the parcels. I then phoned Inverness Depo back, explained it was coming from another company named tuffnells, I was then put on hold and told the furniture would be back out for delivery the next day. I had then taken a full day off work to wait for this furniture to arrive, yet it did not show. My grandmother was refused any service or help what so ever on the phone with menzies until she could provide a code given by tuffnells, which thankfully she managed to receive. The woman from menzies was then unable to account for where the furniture was or what furniture we were trying to receive. Words cannot express how angered I am, that no one knows where £700 worth of flat packed furniture is that they had tried to deliver previously, according to the unprofessional note left. They have failed to help in any way within their power, and came across as very rude and unprofessional over the phone. I can only sympathise for those who have gone through a similar situation with the company, it is ridiculous paying fir a service this shocking. The current status of my situation is that menzies are going to phone my grandmother back once they have been able to track down where my parcels are. I can only hope that they try to rectify the issues I have been faced with, after all it is the very least the company can do.

Papers getting late every day ,explained to them paperboys will struggle to do round when papers late but nobody does to improve service, only care about putting the price up for delivery charges which is close to 70 pounds awk ,unfortunately because of only supplier just have to bear with them, which is not fair

Again let down by their incompetence unfortunately my parcels from Yodel and DPD have entered Menzies distribution Inverness never to move again. They have been sat in there depot for 9 days now without moving anywhere near the western Isles. We have been let down so often that when it's larger that we need to order we just go to the mainland and pick it up there.

Absolutely terrible. They delivered a parcel 3 days late. Unable to contact anyone at their local Aberdeen depot. They were meant to pick a parcel up 2 days ago, again cannot give me even an estimated time of collection despite, being 2 days overdue to collect it and promising they would. They just don't seem to care about customer service or actually meeting delivery deadlines customers have paid for. While I appreciate there my be resourcing issue due to covid, it is just very poor. Will never use again.
