MPL1027061 has been COLLECTED and at their Aberdeen Depot.. IT IS NOT , Since the 6th of April my Sister has waited for 7 days for this parcel to be collected. SHOCKING SERVICE.. I put a review on this on TRUST PILOT this us virtually word for word ..

Buyer of car seats arranged through paisley freight to collect the seats which I had boxed up. Menzies took them then said the weight was over by 2kg each seat. Returned them to me and I managed to reduce the weight. They took them again and then said the boxes were over the size limit, I feel this should have been mentioned the first time. driver then refused to return them to me so I could sort them for the buyer. I phoned and asked to have them back and was told no problem would be Monday. Phoned the Wednesday and they claimed to have no knowledge of the call I made the week before. Eventually got seats back but not returned in a van but a truck.. boxes destroyed! Ended up dropping seats off to the buyers mate who was luckily up in the area visiting family. Pi** poor service and attitude. Elgin branch.

Had a delivery today from UK Flooring. Delivered by Menzies. Paddy Shaw was our delivery driver. He was an absolute super star. Brought the delivery into an out building, rather than leave it on the drive he did follow COVID rules! Top man! Thought he was worth a 5* mention

I organised collection of a parcel through Parcel2go. Collection time was 9 to 5.30. Despite waiting in all day nobody turned up. I cant get hold of anyone in Parcel 2go so phoned Menzies Inverness who said that the driver had tried to collect the parcel at 7pm. He did not ring the doorbell or put anything through the letterbox. We dont believe that he called at all. This is the second collection that has been missed. They have arranged for collection today but cant give me a time. I shall not be using them again.

Had a parcel sent on 26th of feb for next day, its the 3rd of march and still not recieved it. When I phoned up they told me they would get hold of the driver, never heard back and then when i phoned again my complaint was disregarded and told to wait for the driver to get back in contact again, when the driver got in contact (the day after my inital call to Menzies) I was told the driver didnt want to deliver the package as I was in quarantine and there was a sign on my door, the sign on my door was removed 2 weeks ago... He could have also just knocked on the door and left the package on the floor LIKE THE SIGN STATED... Pure laziness to not check if it was still there
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS (DPD FOR THE HIGHLANDS) THEY WILL MAKE IT A NIGHTMARE TO GET YOUR PARCEL
Ridiculous Delivery Times
Ridiculous delivery times, I now have a parcel which has been held in their depot for four days and still no sign of it. If you can't deliver items within an acceptable time frame your in the wrong business.
Very rude, terrible customer service
Very rude, Inverness (Northern Highlands Depot) would not even speak to me on the phone. DPD were very helpful before transferring me through but Menzies advisor spoke over me refused to check details and then hung up on me mid sentence.

Waiting for two winter tyres, they received them on 5th February, then tell me after constant phone calls that the driver isn't prepared to drive in snowy conditions. The roads are black, gritted and with no issues.
I requested call backs from depot management.... Absolutely nothing.
A disgrace of a depot.
They wanted me to drive 50 miles to collect the parcel that the delivery driver was supposed to deliver.

On the 11th February, a vehicle was seen sneaking into my property under the cover of darkness, parked 50 yards away and..... Low and behold, tyres left on the doorstep.

Absolutely first class service from this company. I had to send Christmas presents to Moray after the family being unable to travel home for Christmas. I booked at weekend for pick up on Monday, prices much cheaper than any other company. Driver arrived at 11 am Monday, without labels, saying they would have them at depot. I was dubious as I had not marked the parcels in any way but I trusted his word. At 3pm today, my daughter sent me a picture of her parcel, all complete and at 4.30 pm my son received his parcel too. These were big heavy parcels and estimated delivery was to be by next Monday so I was well impressed by the service. Will definitely use this company in future.

I really wish there was another distributor we can use for our newspaper service. Our deliveries are either late packages missing or damaged and despite calling to complain you just get fobbed off and asked if you can make your way to the depot to collect. The organisation pass the buck from department to department and they don’t care about the impact they have on their clients customer base.

Yet again, there are no Saturday newspapers available in Leeds 6. I accept that one recent instance was due to a protest, but that does not explain all the other times I have had a fruitless trawl through all the local shops at the weekend. You are damaging local trade as well as alienating customers. If your intention is to kill off print journalism altogether, you are certainly going the right way about it. Pathetic.

This is the worst newspaper delivery company! Late deliveries, shortage of papers and delivery notes, not scanning returns on time absolute sham of a company! I have lost a fortune over the years with these issues and the federation aren’t much better!!
Lost parcel
Told me that they had my parcel and would deliver the next day. I waited in all day only for nothing to arrive. Phones at the depot are rarely answered, when I eventually got through they said my parcel must be lost.

I gave one star because I couldn't leave a review with no stars. Terrible company. Two.apparent missed deliveries when I was home both times. Arranged depot collection to be told it was on a van and couldn't be left with a neighbour. Not answering the phone. A whole day wasted. If I know someone is using this company for delivery I will not be buying from them. Rude customer service and very unhelpful.
Blue Vans Ruin Businesses
We were sent a brochure with a price list, and we used those prices to calculate what to charge our customers. We then went to drop off at the Inverness depot and were told that (a) all parcels, regardless of weight or size were charge at the same price-just under 15 pounds inc VAT and (b) the central Aberdeen postcode we were sending some parcels to was being charged at UK mainland rates. These are both not what we were told in the brochure. Obviously that's not legal, and it's pretty flagrant!
We kept on using Menzies for a bit as not may alternatives up here, despite being charged up to double what we thought. We tried DPD one week, but they sent Menzies to collect anyway, and the van turned up at 3pm to collect a next day order, knowing that the transport south leaves at 14:30.
most of the consignment took 2 days and some took 3 days and the product on the longest delays was ruined. We lost a customer in Ellon because of that- 3 days to make a 2-hour journey. So we tried Menzies directly again last week, making sure we dropped off at 10am to be on that 1430 van.
But today we lost another customer. They sent us the image I wish I could attach. Looks like it has been thrown around, is ripped open and contents are wet. Despite saying fragile and perishable on the label, this is how our customers received it ...
It's the second time the box has been severely damaged, and they have now cancelled their order. They were our second biggest customer.
None of this is anything to do with us. You can imagine how frustrating and worrying this is when you are a new business trying to hang on to customers in a really difficult time?
Shocking Newspaper Service
Shocking service. Frequent late delivery of newspapers to our local shop. And I mean FREQUENT. At least 7/8 times every month. Papers supposed to be there at 6:30. Last month they were not there before 9am 6 days in a row. Today, Sunday, 8:30 and no papers. If I could give no stars I would.
