They completely ruined my husband and I’s ring buying experience. This is a long review, but please read, I am not a ranting customer, all of this truly happened. They sent my husband the ring he ordered with a band that was 25% percent smaller than what was advertised online- 25%. At first, they tried to claim that it was a “slight variation” due to the handcrafted nature of the ring. I understand a little variation because it is hand-crafted, but 25%?! We took the ring to a jeweler who measured it, and I suggest if you have bought or do buy jewelry from MiaDonna HAVE IT CHECKED OUT if you have any doubts. We contacted the company and they said I could keep the ring for now and send it back after the wedding. Problem is, I was so worried about messing up the ring I didn’t wear it. Side note that our engagement and wedding were very quick, because my mom was terminally ill. Our engagement lasted 2 weeks and I did not get to wear my ring. We had our wedding and we promptly returned the ring, well wanted to, but didn’t want to pay the return shipping they were asking us to pay. (We were sending back a second ring to be resized in the same box, to be eco-friendly). After a lot of back-and-forth MiaDonna finally said they would pay to have the order THEY messed up on shipped back for them to fix. It took them about a month to complete my correct ring and resize my husband’s and when it was complete, they sent me an invoice. For return shipping. Are you kidding me? We bought a total of 3 rings from this company, spending thousands of dollars, and they were asking us to pay to have my correct ring I ordered, plus one ring in the same box, sent back to us?! They claimed that they cannot afford to pay the shipping on all “repairs” (not mistakes!) because they give 10% of their profits to charity. What do they do with the other 90% of their profits? We are not rich; we are city workers from Chicago. It would have cost us over $50 to ship the ring back. So after more back-and-forth, they agreed to ship us our rings. My “corrected” ring arrived, and again, it was noticeably smaller then advertised and what the home try-on ring looked like. I contacted MiaDonna again, and they claimed that they measured it 3 times and my wedding ring it was stacked with must have been “too big” (it was not, we had it measured), but we would be allowed to return it. Again, we took it to a local jeweler and it measured more than 10% smaller. I sent the photos proving this and only then did they send me a return shipping label. They claimed that they measured it 3 times, but that “calipers differ”. So, if your workshop’s calipers are more than 10% off, what does that mean for everyone else’s jewelry? Now, 2 months after my wedding, I have gotten a refund and will have to start the ring-buying process somewhere else. Because of this whole fiasco, my mom passed away before ever getting to see my actual engagement ring, I feel like that is the worst part of all of this. Do yourself a favor, lots of other places sell lab diamonds and recycled metals, go there. These people claim to care so much about the people that their non-profits help, but what about the hard-working people that buy their jewelry?

I could not be happier and even more importantly my fiancé was just delighted with her ring! The shopping process was easy, and customer service was great. I had a special request which was to get it in time for her Son's visit to make me popping the question extra special. They were very responsive and followed-up and got it to me in time. The packing felt like I had purchased it from a local jewelry store with a beautiful ring box, certificate and more. I would highly recommend you consider them for not just a beautiful ring but with an amazing value.

My husband bought the single solitaire 1.25 carat Diamond Simulant to propose to me back in 2016- we were in college, so it was the best he could afford. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and looked so real, glittered like any girl wants a new engagement ring to look... and exactly what we needed in that season of engagement. However, it has not stood the test of time. I take the ring off to shower, workout etc. but normal day to day use has caused wear-and-tear/scratches that are visible to the naked eye. Still pretty, but having talked to my local jeweler that has been in the business for 40 years, he told me that a $40 cubic zirconia would be a replacement that looks the same, without the scratches- not what you want to hear about your engagement ring stone! Having done the research, I know that the simulant diamond stone is not as hard so it will wear, but a bummer to pay so much for a look alike, when a cubic zirconia would do the same thing for a fraction of the price. Additionally, the center stone recently came loose so we sent it in for repairs. After paying $30 each way to ship and the cost for repairs, including polishing and re-engraving (Another fee), the ring was returned to use still loose! They paid for us to ship it back, only to charge us again for another repair (that should have been done the first time), and charge us for return shipping (despite having paid for it the first time when it should have been fixed). While the customer service has been very responsive and helpful, they nickle-and-dime you for every shipping charge and repair, even when it was not fixed the first time we paid. In the meantime, I have ordered a $20 ring on Amazon that has looked exactly the same... All of this to be said, I do love my ring, and I know it's what my husband could afford when he proposed. However, if you are looking for something that will stand the test of time, and not cause you frustration when you inevitably have to get it repaired, then this is not the ring for you! It holds sentimental value to me, but we will be saving up to replace the stone with a real diamond someday.

Great customer service but the product was very disappointing- took 2 weeks longer than quoted and within a week after only wearing the ring 2-3 times another stone fell out. We get married in 4 days and there was not time to fix it again. Very disappointed.

MiaDonna has been great. We got both my engagement and wedding band, as well as my husband's wedding band. We love that they are using only ethically sourced materials AND reinvesting in communities most negatively impacted by the diamond industry. Our rings are top quality, and the customer service was amazing. Love love love.

The customer service is absolutely excellent - they were super prompt in emails to answer every question I had, and once I bought the ring, they were excellent about getting it out to be re-sized. The ring is beautiful and everything I had hoped for. 10/10 would shop here again!

I fell in love with the Eden Wedding Set and knew that it was the ring it was the one for me! I first ordered a ring sizer as I wasn't sure what my current ring size is. About 2 weeks after I ordered I hadn't received the sizer, so I sent an email requesting an update on when I might expect it to ship out and learned that the order was somehow overlooked but was sent out that day. That was fine, a little disappointed and a little worrisome about future orders that an order could be overlooked. The representative was very apologetic and their reply read as sincere. I got the ring sizer a couple days later and ordered the wedding set.

After a couple weeks I hadn't received any updates after the automatic order confirmation at the time of purchase. I sent an email to request an update of when my order might ship out and explained the issue with the previous order as I just wanted to make sure that this order was not overlooked as well. The response reiterated the timeframe stated on the website of 10-15 business days and what day it would be shipped by according to that timeframe. The response read as a generic, copy-paste kind of reply and did not really reassure me about the status of the order.

It may be helpful to customers and the business to have a system to email customers with an automated message when the order has been started by the jeweler. I don't spend $2400 everyday and the anticipation/suspense left me feeling rather anxious.

MiaDonna is an excellent company, with excellent customer service and products. I didn't know ethical gold and diamonds existed and this company opened my eyes, what they do is very important and thoughtful. I appreciate what they do and how they do it! I bought my wedding bands there and I will keep purchasing jewelry with MiaDonna!

My fiancé bought the Paris Engagement ring for me with a 1.5 cushion cut Diamond Hybrid and I purchased the matching wedding band both in Platinum. They are both absolutely stunning and I love them so much. Working with MiaDonna has been a pleasure, I love the sustainability and ethics of the company which was a huge thing for me in getting an engagement ring. Plus the quality is beyond amazing. My only issue was with the custom engraving. I can barely see it on the band and it was placed in a odd space. I would recommend engraving locally when you get it so you can work with the engraver on placement and size.

Ring is beautiful! I ordered a month out from the wedding. Leaving out of town a week before the wedding. I called to check on it. Was supposed to have it Friday. A representative called me on Thursday, which I loved. They got it on Friday and shipped over night to received on Saturday before we leave out for the wedding on Monday! Excellent customer service and beautiful product! Highly recommend
