Midwest Grow Kits 

I have ordered from Midwest numerous times. This company is a legit customer service based company. They are knowledgeable about their products and back them 100%. They have not only answered questions via a phone call but they are quick to respond to emails as well. I had one small issue with a product that was sent and they offered to replace it without hesitation. Being able to source the item locally as I needed it immediately, they offered a credit for the item and I was able to apply it to my next order. I can also happily say that I am very pleased with their shipping times. Every order I have placed has left the warehouse within one or two business days, most being the very next day. As a customer you can’t ask for much more than prompt shipping like this. Item are packed well and always in new boxes. So far their products have been flawless for my needs. I can say with confidence that if you are looking for products they sell, not only are their prices reasonable, but also competitively priced. I will continue to use Midwest and recommend others to give them a try if you are looking for the items they sell.

This is my first review here, and I wanted to share my experience. Firstly, I’ve had nothing but good experience with this company. Whenever I’ve had a small issue, which are far and few between, like a moldy substrate jar, or a leaky cloning jar, they’ve always replied back to me and made it right. It’s not easy to please everyone all the time, and there are a lot of things that are out of their hands. As far as customer service goes, sometimes it’s taken a few days, but they’ve always replied back and tried to do the right thing. For the quality, I’ve never found a company that provides as good of a product for the price. Just as stated in the product descriptions, they send fresh product. Well, I don’t have the means to prove this fact, but I can say that their items have a long shelf life. When shipping, there’s a lot of logistics involved. Sometimes, I’ve received damaged smashed packages with broken product because of damage in transit, which is not their fault, but they’ve still made it right. One thing that Covid proved is that we need to have a little more patience in the process. There’s a lot that happens in the background, between purchase and product in hand. I’m not suggesting that Covid is a good excuse for all mishaps, but no one is perfect. Even though it’s stated as such, except for on the weekends (Friday-Sunday), I never expected next day shipping as the order must be approved and charged before shipping. Guess everyone expects Amazon shipping these days, not realizing that Amazon owns the means and process, from purchase to shipping to delivery. I’ll probably copy this review and put it in different places, as I believe this company has always tried to be the best in its business. I’m definitely a customer for life. Oh, and they didn’t pay me to write this review.

I've been using Midwest Organics products for 4 years now and have always been satisfied. This year I had a promotion to a different company, so I tried them out and was dissapointed!! It only solidified the reliable and quality-control aspects of Midwest products. Needless to say I'm back on track with Midwest and will always be a customer. Would 100% reccommend!

The products are quality. I've ordered substrates, grain bags, jars, a grow tent setup, and much more. So far, I have not had any problems but customer service can take a while to respond and shipping takes much longer than they advertise. Which is why I am giving them 4 stars. Otherwise, their products are well worth the price and quality. I highly recommend checking them out since I've had successful inoculations and such but keep in mind if you need something immediately or if you pay for faster shipping, it's still going to take at least a week until they ship it out. This wouldn't be an issue if they stated beforehand the wait time but they advertise next day shipping so it must be called out.

Midwest has always met my expectations with their products . They have always arrived quickly and as expected .

My experience is always great due to the quality of products I receive. Also, the customer service is outstanding and responsive. My orders always arrive on time as expected.

There is so much info out there on growing mushrooms, especially for a newb. It’s easy to get information overload and contradictory information. I still suggest doing as much research as possible but Midwest Grow takes the guesswork out of it with their amazing product line and easy to follow instructions. I had a problem with a spawn bag (it may have even been my fault) and they sent me a new one right away with no questions asked. Anytime I’ve had a question, they’ve emailed me back within 24 hours, usually alot sooner! The grow tent and all it’s accessories work amazingly! Watching the magic happen is so gratifying and their products are very high quality. Highly recommend Midwest grow and their affiliates. I don’t use anybody else!

I have made several orders through Midwest and every time the items have been shipped quickly, packaged really well, and the products of the highest quality. I highly recommend Midwest.
Their price point of things is in the higher range but if you want quality and service you pay for it.

Over-priced and poor quality. The kit arrived damaged with incomplete instructions. Ineffective and a waste of time, money, energy, and product.

All 8 bags turned moldy within a week of inoculating. Wont be shopping here again.

Everything across the board with this company has been great. I received 2 light sockets that oddly enough - neither worked. They replaced them without question within days and didn't even ask for me to send the non-functioning ones back. Customer service - on point, every question I came across got a prompt precise reply, and I had some questions, believe me! Thanks for all your help Midwest! Your a tribute to our community

Every grain or brf jar (over 40) I have bought from Midwest have colonized every damn time. No contamination yet.

I can not say enough good things about this company. Please, believe me, Ive tried them all and been ripped off Plenty by 2 of the most popular on facebook. These guys are the real deal. They actually answered my questions in like a day!!! Love these guys!! You will thank me

Kinda weird how grain bags from Etsy vendors with good reviews never get contamination but almost every single Moldwest grain bag I've gotten arrives with VISIBLE contamination or gets contamination within less than a week. They sent me a replacement for the visible contamination but have ignored me when I told them the replacements had contamination in them too. Horrible quality control. Do better

Purchased a simple grow kit, everything arrived as described on 11/23. Jars were inoculated 11/25. Now, three and a half weeks later only a single jar has spawned and the rest show no signs of growth. On the contrary, the other 5 jars are observably drying out on the bottom and top. I reached out to their support email 2 days ago and have yet to receive a response. Per their Contact Us page, "We try our best to answer emails as fast as we can. Quick questions usually are answered within hours and longer complex or technical emails may take a day or two." Today I attempted to chat their customer service team. I was connected with Brian, explained the situation, Brian told me to just re-inoculate the jars and blamed the faulty jars on my spore source.. In the middle of me typing my response with a question, Brian disconnected the chat and the chat feature is no longer available on their site. The customer service has been embarrassingly bad. I will be contacting my bank to report bad service/services not rendered if my follow up email is also ignored. Steer away from this company.

ordered agar took a week. They say next day they ship your order if its in stock this is simply not true when they also state they pour agar fresh everyday. these people need to keep their lies straight. lol i will never go to these ppl again I will trust amazon before I give them another dime.

I ordered a Midwestern grow kit and 10 of my jars was contaminated.so becareful I'm very disappointed.
