I will Never buy any miele products again

Will never buy any Miele products again. Terrible customer service. Have a combo steam oven DGC 6700 and a speed oven H6700BM , definitely not worth the money. Speed oven had trouble right from beginning , they replaced it but steam oven they tried to fix a few times , we gave up after 10 years trying to fix it, cant use the steam , the oven is a mess because they give you no solution to clean, the tiny pores make it impossible to clean . They make you buy their expensive products to clean and they dont work. The questions the oven ask is ridiculous " Do you want to turn oven off? That's why I pushed the off button they must think we're really stupid. Very frustrated $8,000 we paid 😭

mediocre reliability, extremely poor service

We have a Miele induction cooktop, a microwave and a wall oven. All are nearly 10 years old. The oven has failed once and when it was finally fixed, the repair bill was nearly $1000. The oven has always been impossible to keep clean and temperature control has been poor. The cooktop failed recently and it took even longer to get it serviced. The bill was nearly $1300. It has just failed again and we won't see the service man for nearly three weeks, over Christmas! Just getting through to their service department can take a very long time and the inescapable music while waiting is incredibly annoying. Never again.

All about quality...

It is now 10th day that I am awaiting reparation of Miele C3 vacuum cleaner bought ay ONLY 5 months ago.

Shope where I bough it is now trying to convince me that all this is for my own benefit: "However, depending on how much service a product needs, there can be delays, which is needed in order for our authorized workshop to get the time they need, to fix the product correctly and test it for any possible errors. "

Come on, I would expect that Miele has done all those tests before they sent product to shops, as a seriuos el devices producer. And not now. Again, what is the quality of their products, if I have to wait more than 2 weeks workshop to fix them - after 5 months of usage????
I am sorry to say, but this is the best way to lose customers. And I will not forgot this episode for a long time, and will share my experiance with everyone who is looking for a new el device.

I bought a Miele blizzard cx1 powerline…

I bought a Miele blizzard cx1 powerline because I have hardwood floors, tile floors and a sensitive carpet that can’t take a brush roll. I have to say this is a terrible vacuum. It’s quiet but it doesn’t pick up debris at all even on the highest suction power. I have to go over and over the floors and still there’s particles left in the floor. What a bad design. And relatively expensive too. I paid over $450 at Costco.

I ordered 1 tiny rubber gasket (10*5mm)…

I ordered 1 tiny rubber gasket (10*5mm) and they charged me 400 danish crowns for it. Absolutely outrageous for a gasket that probably cost 10 danish crowns to manufacture. I recommend never to buy Miele products because you get ripped off royally if you ever need a spare part.

Shortsighted and annoying changes made to new Miele dishwashers

This review is for the Miele G4226SCU dishwasher.

We just purchased our second Miele dishwasher, as we loved our last one. The new one works great at cleaning the dishes, which I realize is very important. The problem with this new one is that there are no longer any indicator lights whatsoever when the cycle is done. That is, when dishes are dirty there are no lights at all, and when the cycle is complete and dishes are clean, also NO LIGHTS at all. I phoned Miele to ask, and was told this was likely an energy saving thing. All I know is, I find it very frustrating. My daughter has twice now unknowingly added dirty dishes to a clean washer, and who can blame her when there is zero indication? If they could come up with a fix for this maybe? Have technicians come out to make adjustments to the light panel? Anything? Very shortsighted decision-making for such an expensive and high end product. I’m all for saving energy, but it can go too far, as is the case in this instance.

Buy a Bosch instead or why not buy two…

Buy a Bosch instead or why not buy two - it will be cheaper than a broken Miele that they cannot get round to fixing (too busy?) - We bought a Miele washing machine. The 10 year guarantee sounded great. When our washing machine broke we were offered an engineer in 12 days time (with a family of 6's washing to do). We were then telephoned to say the engineer was poorly. 1 engineer for 3 counties - really?
So a redundant extremely expensive washing machine that is sitting there unfixed with no new appointment
Do not be tempted to 'keep up with the Jones's'
Be sensible and buy something cheaper instead (or two - if one breaks down just replace it with the other one)

Buyer Beware!

Let me just say that Miele products and especially their customer service are way OVERRATED!

We purchased a Futura Dimensions dishwasher for over $2,000.00 in 2014. The stainless steel “sasha flashing” that goes over the control panel on the door and bends about 3” over the corners came dislodged causing the door incapable of shutting. The part seems to snap on to a piece of plastic on the control panel housing. Aesthetically pleasing but not a very stable design. Hence this is the third time I’ve had to have this serviced.

When I called to make an appointment for a technician to service on September 5, 2019 I was was promised they would come out on Friday September 6, 2019 and that they would call me between eight and nine in the morning that Friday to let me know what time they were coming out. By 9:30 AM I had not heard from them and I called the Miele dispatch. They said that I was not on the schedule. I said I was and spoke to a gentleman who confirmed the appointment. They pulled the call and reviewed the conversation. I was told I was correct I should’ve been on the schedule and that it was their error.

For my inconvenience they offered 30% off a part that cost $600 which brought that to $420 plus I’d have to pay the $150 for the service call and $90 an hour for labor.

I was stunned at the price of the repair especially for a defect that i have to address now for a third time. When I asked for a manager I had to speak to a floor supervisor Lauren in New Jersey who proceeded to talk over me and kept saying this is a billable call - very condescending. Lauren refused to provide me with anyone else in corporate. So again she inconvenienced me by having me look up this information myself - NICE!!

For what it’s worth, I reach out to Jon Heck CEO USA operations and still have not heard anything back since I reached out on September 6th.

I have purchased several Miele products (vacuums and other) in the past but at this point I will never do so again. For the cost to have that dishwasher repaired I could buy a brand new one from a different company that would be a comparable product. I will not pay for a repair that has occurred for the third time and Miele refuses to do nothing.

Take it for what it’s worth it’s your money and time.

New fridge freezer KFN28132 on 2 year…

New fridge freezer KFN28132 on 2 year warranty. Its 21 months old found the whole thing had stopped working. All freezer food had to be thrown away and no compensation from Miele. Engineer said he had to order three new parts but not available for 10 days. Miele has the worst customer service ever. They are complacent and I will ner buy that brand again. I notice other unfavourable reviews on the John Lewis customer reviews.

Worst customer care and worst quality…

Worst customer care and worst quality dishwasher
If I could, I would give Miele a zero star on customer care and for not standing by their product. The "expensive" dishwasher we own has been giving us problems from the start for everything imaginable. We've had a history of repairs and replacements - nothing but trouble. The water proof system was replaced twice already and is needing a third replacement in the 12 years we own the appliance (they will do nothing for you after 10 years except offer a miserly 20% discount on $130.00 part - whoopy!). The last replacement lasted only two years. So I called in to see if they could replace this for free and stand by their product (this is after I just had a repair done two weeks ago on the dishwasher. Tons of replacement parts were replaced then). I called and spoke to the Supervisor, Tom, about the issues I've been having and the 20% discount on the part was all he could do for me. He says he understands, but he doesn't. If he did, he would have stood by his company's product and took care of his unhappy customer with a history of repairs. I will not recommend miele dishwashers to anyone. I would also warn that they don't stand by their product after ten years. Why bother buying a so call, "high end quality appliance" when they can't trust it to last more than ten years. If you get a lemon, you're on your own. They will not go out of their way to do the right thing and take care of you. Best to work with the company, Wolf. Their customer care is amazing. They paid for parts and repair on my wall oven even after 12 years. Just for the record, I only call the company when I've had too many work and repairs paid on the appliance. If I'm buying quality, I expect it to last for at least ten years or more and then maybe a repair. The dishwasher is a piece of junk! Miele customer care is the worst! They are a difficult company to work with and does not care about you, just their bottom line! Stay away from Miele. Their product is not worth the money, poor, poor quality. I'm disguted with my experience and I'm getting a new dishwasher. It will not be a Miele. I will make sure my friends, family and neighbors know of my experience with Miele. Disgusted!

Bought a washing machine from Miele 10…

Bought a washing machine from Miele 10 years ago. Washes great but in the first year had pump failure. After that had quite a few faults during the 10 year period, got fixed every time. Now it’s been 2 and a half weeks since I’m without a working washing machine. Still have warranty on it. They came to replace a part and instead two parts got fried. For the past 17 days Miele said they sent the parts. Today we phoned said they sent them today. Oh and did I mention that I also have a 8 month old that requires a lot of washing. Never ever will I buy a Miele washing machine.

Ice Maker wont work and Miele keeps trying to fix it

We purchased an entire kitchen suite of Miele products 8 months ago. We have had continued issues with our ice maker working for Model # F1913SFSS (Large freezer). We have been without ice for over 89 days (total). Miele has been out to "fix" the ice maker 4 times and did a total replacement of the ice maker last time. It is broken again. My call to Ferguson (where I purchased it) and Miele were horrible. Ferguson flat out told me that once the product is in our home, it is my responsibility to work with the manufacture and once again, Miele told me that I have to have my freezer serviced. This was a very expensive freezer (not that it matters) but the service is horrible. I simply do not know why they are not replacing my freezer. How many times do they have to fix it and it is broken again! BEWARE of Miele and Ferguson.

We purchased our Miele S7210 vacuum 9 years ago and still going strong

We purchased our Miele S7210 vacuum 9 years ago for £250 with a £30 warranty which covers 10 years - excellent value.
We have sent it for service 3 times during this time.
Each time the service and repairs have been 1st class.
Miele arrange a box for the hoover to be dispatched in for repair.
Box delivered to our home one day for hoover to be packed and then collected the next so excellent door-to-door speedy service.
Most recently we sent our hoover for repair on the Thursday and it came back this morning (5 days and this is over the Easter break).
Excellent service.
Vaccum has come back fully working and I can see it has had an overall with other slight faults repaired - clip replaced, new attachment, new filters - come back like new.

Would highly recommend Miele vacuums. Our next hoover will definitely be Miele.
Thank you very much to the Team.

Before I purchased my dishwasher I…

Before I purchased my dishwasher I looked in which magazine. "large dishwasher no major flaws"
I looked at the reviews on Miele -not many- but all good.
When it arrived the baskets were not as listed on Miele. When I questioned them, I was told "that's not on your model" but it says in two places on your site it does. "We have a disclaimer that we cannot be held responsible for mistakes"
My supply Pounds of Winchmore Hill london N21 were great. The owner called & wrote a Long email to Miele who wanted me to pay over £200 to have what I thought I was going to get for the £1000 I had already paid.
When I tried to post a review on their web page they wouldn't allow it. They said it was against their terms & conditions. That's why the reviews were only good ones. That afternoon They said they would send me the missing parts free of charge. Even so, if I was paying that sort of money again, I would not buy Miele. It washes clean, but stacking it does not suit my family. Very hard to support a wine glass in the top basket. and serving dishes in the bottom basket do not stand up so you can get more in.
