Confusion Abounds...

It's coming onto 29 days since I placed my order....my order was mixed up with another customers and as they had the "louder" voice and Milan support can only seem to deal with one person at a time, I have been forgotten/ignored. I was patient and waited and then recontacted to sort, however, you won't find any contact number for them, only email. And the email train, just has my details lost and no response. But the other customer is all sorted, so someone's happier than me!
While they might have good items and this isn't the "normal", I wouldn't recommend then to anyone encase they have issues as well.....

Appalling service....warn everyone you know!!!!

The company runs on an ad hoc approach. Ordered an item online two months ago. Did not hear from them after emailing.... no person to person contact available. Then received an email telling me that the item is OUT OF STOCK!!!! Another not available till after Xmas. Ok. Can accept that. Then received a call yesterday from delivery van driver telling me he is army door with the item! ( no prior warning given ). I was at work. When I opened the item, found it to be broken. Emailed them but no response.... for quite some time.
Took the matter into my own hand and went to their office.... 108 BRIDPORT STREET ALBERT PARK.... to sort it out. They refused to apologise and had a casual, surprised attitude. I am still waiting for some recompense.
Appalling company! Not surprised that other reviews reflect my bad experiences with them.
My advise is to go to the office.... don't send any emails as they will be ignored.

Worst customer service ever

I ordered a chair that arrive well past the advertised time frame - nearly a month later. When I called I was directed to the sales email and no-one bothered to respond to my emails until I posted a negative review on another site. When the chair eventually arrived it had no screws with which to attach the legs. Now I would like to return it and get a refund but naturally no-one from customer service has bothered to respond to my three emails to explain how and when I can return the chair and when they will refund my money. The most frustrating experience. I still have the faulty chair and Milan Direct has my money.

Out of stock

I purchased an in stock item, heard nothing about delivery and when I followed up after about a week I was told it was actually out of stock for months. I was given a number of options to proceed with but no option of a full refund which I'm sure is illegal!

OnLine Experience

The product offering is very good, and we were so happy with out stools we even made a 2nd purchase! HOWEVER be prepared for some frustration if you have a query, and wish to speak to a live human being for a quick answer in a reasonable period of time...

Don't buy from Milan Direct

A horrible overall experience. I ordered a coffee table and side table set. A week or two after purchase they sent an e mail saying they were out of stock and had to wait for the next shipment to arrive before dispatch. This delayed it a whole month. A month later I had to chase them up twice with an e mail before finally getting a reply with a consignment number. By this time I was moving houses and there was confusion with which address to deliver it to. Dispatch was with Allied shipping and they kept changing the estimated day of arrival. Finally, one half of my order arrived and the second half arrived the next day to the wrong address.
Putting the coffee table together, there were pieces missing and one of the screws were defective which affected the whole table!!
Very unhappy with the whole experience. Won't be buying from them again.

Very slow to respond to refunds! In fact still waiting....................

At first we were happy with the service that we received, friendly and professional. We later had reason to return the ordered article as it was not as described on website. After some email exchanges and various offers from Milan, we finally were successful in an agreement that would see the article to be collected by Milan and returned, After arrival we were to receive our money back, Well, guess what? We are still waiting for the
article to be collected. We gave the required notice, but "OH NO", no answer via email and of course NO phone number! We are bitterly disappointed with Milan. Why such a poor follow through?

Quick service, quality product

Ordered 2 office chairs. They were easy to put together and are very comfortable and solid, not cheap. The chairs arrived quickly and there were no problems with the delivery.

Communication lacking.

I bought bedside tables from Milan Direct. Ordered in October, it said on the website it will be shipped at the end of November. Sent an email to them start of December because I had not received the tables and I had not heard anything from them. Went to my account on their website and it had no dates for delivery or if they had been sent. Finally after sending my email they said there was a delay in shipping. They should improve their communications.
Also the runners for the draws were not individually labelled and pictures of which piece and where to put them should be more clearer.
I also received an invitation to do a review on 21st November and I had not heard anything from the company about my purchase or when I would get the tables.
The bedside tables had slight splitting in the wood when we screwed a couple of screws into place.
The bedside tables are quiet nice.
