Trying to get a replacement
My shopping experience was anything but good, I received an article that was damaged,I asked for a replacement and it was refused they offered me some money, I asked again For a replacement,they said it wasn't in stock I advised that it was on Their website, they said it was a error, they said again They couldn't replace the item, even thought it had a 1 yr warranty. So I did accept half the cost of the item as I could see I wasn t getting anywhere with the replacement, if I had returned the item and got a refund, I couldn't have bought the item at the same price, it shows that a warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on.

Flat pack Desk and drawers
A difficult flatpack to assemble but looks good when finished. Drawers only A4 width but I have no doubt that was our oversight.
Front of desk has damage (gauge) so will need to be coloured at some stage. Looks like a very cheap veneered finish for the price. Shiny top does not accept a mouse which is frustrating. Overall look is good.
Never received my item
I have contacted them a few times via email (no phone number available) in regards to an artwork piece that was send on the 22/11 and I still have not received this. I am extremely dissapointed and have requested a refund numerous times but still have not heard anything. This was supposed to be a Christmas present that a family member would of liked.

Terrible service and advertising products as available for dispatch that are actually sold out.
I will never shop with Milan Direct again. I gave them two chances with separate products and both times they misled me by stating the products were in stock and ready for dispatch when in fact they were sold out and I had to wait months. I'm in the process of lodging a complaint with the ACCC about their questionable conduct.
Poor Service
I purchased outdoor chairs after I had emailed to check that they were in stock & immediately available. Was assured there was stock; immediately purchased & after a week I was advised that they were out of stock & I could use my money to purchase something else. When I explained that I was after a particular setting, was then sent suggestions of alternatives. Again I explained what I wanted and was then offered a small compensatory amount. It took over 2 weeks for Milan Direct to finally refund my money. Never again Milan Direct - once bitten, twice shy !!!

Unacceptable service
Recently purchased 7 office chairs during click frenzy with free shipping on, after receiving tax invoice have been charged a $200 shipping fee (after apply promo code). Have tried 4 times to make contact with Milan Direct via email as you only get an answering machine each time you call no real person to talk to. My husband has tried also to make contact 3 times with no reply. "VERY" poor customer service. Wanted to purchase an occasional also but would not purchase any further items with no service.

Still waiting for part of my order and it's been over 1 month
I cant believe I have just been sent only part of my order. I ordered 2 x Madison Adrondack chairs with footstool and all I've recieved are the footstools. I've heard no word where the rest of my order is or how come they haven't sent the chairs?? Originally it was a muck up with my order which took over a month to recieved and fix, only to find my order is still not correct. I'm almost at a point of going to fair trading on this. No communication from them and as this is a Christmas present, looks like I won't be giving it to my husband for Christmas. Not right!!!
Bad experience NEVER AGAIN.
I placed an order through their website for Snowy Christmas Tree for my kids. The item was advertised in STOCK and 2 weeks after no delivery at all so i sent them an email as there is no phone number on their website, then i have been advised the item was not in stock and they do not know when the the back order can be arrived. They offered me the replace with different items otherwise a full refund or store credit. So requested a full refund more than four times but no one replied for nearly a week.
I sent 4th email today and still no response and NO refund has been made yet.
I will have to claim my money through the Department of Fair Trading if I don't hear from them by tomorrow.
Absolutely terrible experience with Milan Direct and they also ruined my family's Christmas preparation. Never again!
