Solid yet flexible
The recent purchase from Milan was an office chair for my parents. The site was easy to navigate, and gave some good ideas for us to choose from.
Unfortunately, the website was setup in such a way that prevented us from using an overseas address in the billing fields - we ended up working around this issue using our paypal account. However, I would suggest Milan considers this upgrade to their site going forward - you will lose customers during the checkout phase if you don't.
Our other concern was whether the box would be left at the front door of the apartment complex where my parents live - to our relief, the delivery person brought the package straight into their home, which meant the elderly people did not have to struggle with getting this up any stairs - much appreciated.
Putting the chair together was reportedly simple enough, and the results have been very satisfying!

My order has been paid and verified on November 29. We are still waiting for furniture to be delivered. No explanation has been supplied, and my letters were totally ignored.

Today I've got a message that my order is to be delivered today. No time or even a part of the day were identified. And no furniture were delivered! Is it a joke???

No customer service
The phone number is a message telling you to email them. I have received only a cut & pasted auto reply to my initial email, and no response since. I find this very concerning.
Great value and service.
We ordered a three piece outdoor setting online. It arrived within the specified time and was even better than expected as it came with cushions for the chairs. Would happily use this company again.
Quality and impeccable service
I had been monitoring a couple of items on another site for sometime however when it came time to purchase the items they had sold out.
I soon found them via Milan Direct and ordered the lowboy and chest of drawers which were delivered within seven days. Happy customer!!

Very nice entryway table but the drawers are stiff and too hard to use and rock the cabinet tipping over frames etc on top.

My purchase came in two days and I was informed that it was in transit and then on its way.I was suprised that what it was delivered the driver just left me with the package out side my unit and it wasn't easy taking it up two flights of stairs and I slightly damaged the item but this was allied express not Milan direct who were fantastic.

Order had arrived late and not on time sent multi emails to customer service re when to deliver - all ignored,. first email from Milan stating i was a priority delivery between 1-5 pm weekdays - most people at work! driver would not deliver to door 10 steps up nor to car boot 50 meters away. Poor Poor Poor after sales service

Items were sent on the last day of the expected arrival time frame therefor did not make it by the expected time. Items arrived with minor yet permanent scratches/markings. And to top it off my partner received a barrage of intrusive phone calls after making an inquiry about the items, and even after blocking MD's number, received more phone calls from a different number. This is no way to run a business.

1 month delay!
I ordered a bookshelf and didn't revive a dispatch notice. I had to send two emails to find out what was going on, then I receive a rude email stating that the eta dispatch was 30 nov which I should noted on purchase. Ok fine. Then I get an email staying there has been a delay and dispatch will only be 31 dec! 'O offer for an explanation or discount. Terrible customer service and no set delivery time. I wonder if I will get the bookshelf. I regret this purchase.
Some real highlights
Loved you web page, it's fast and easy to navigate. The people you can text online to help are super helpful. The ordering process is flawed, I nearly gave up on ordering. I wanted to send the coffee table to my son in a different post code so despite having a separate section for this once you put your postcode in the page before that is the only one the order and delivery will accept. In the end I gave up and had it delivered to me. The irony of this when it was being delivered it was stored in Bendigo which is where my son lives. The tracking was great right up to the point that the company subcontracted to someone else then it was a black hole and they would not give me the subcontractors contact so I could work out when they were coming. It took 2 days from Sydney to Bendigo via Melbourne and 5 days from Bendigo to Castlemaine . The glass has a sort of cut off corner and although the packaging is great the deliverer thumped it down on that corner and all the surrounding wood packaging was smashed. Haven't opened it to see if it's ok because I still have to get it back to Bendigo for Christmas. So overall staff and web awesome ordering and delivery flawed.
