buying a lounge

Hi purchased a lounge on the 20th November 2016 and still have not received the lounge on the 12th December 2016. Milan did send a prompt email with my questions. But delivery is not 7 days. As advertised it takes longer. Hopefully we receive the lounge soon. Never received the lounge now the 31st December 2016. Asked for a refund and now waiting again 3 to 5 days see if I get my refund. Not Good enough.

Reliable online shop

I have bought few things from MD, good quality, fast delivery. Recently got one item got bit issue, customer service team was very helpful , send replacement to me straightaway. Definitely will recommend to all my friends.

Goods arrived promptly initially as promised. Problem was I ordered the wrong size. Eventually a very satisfactory return arrangement was arrived at. Replacement goods arrived OK

Still waiting for a response

My pre-order was delayed by 2 weeks. I contacted Milan Direct by email last Tuesday to arrange a different delivery address as we are moving With no response received by Friday I tried to ring the office to speak to someone regarding my order but was told by auto message to send an email. Still nothing. So what's going to happen? My order arriving to an empty house? No customer service so it's a fail.

You have kept e mail contact?

We ordered and then had to wait because product was not available. I understand that particularly at this time of the year. I would have liked to be able to speak directly to some one and I could not find a phone number. I found that very frustrating.
Looking forward to hearing how it is going with the new delivery.

The worst customer service experience I've ever had and I still don't have my item

Have purchased an item from Milan direct but am completely astounded by the lack of customer service. It's honestly the worst I've ever come across for such large company. My recommendation: AVOID! Place my order almost 3 weeks ago and have only spoken to one person who said to email before hanging up on me. Had to verify my details and that took a week. Spent a $1000 and am about to just email them to refund my money. Harvey Norman has the same piece for 200 more but would be well worth it to not have to deal with this. My fear is that it'll show up for delivery almost a month and a half late and I'll be gone for christmas. Probably get some charge. Said I would receive a tracking number on the 28th and it's now been nearly two weeks and haven't heard anything. Finally got a tracking number and it did t work. Had to call the couriers and they arranged to have my item delivered. Said to wait from 9-4 at home so I could accept and got a bloody no show from the delivery service. Still waiting to hear back from them. Going to have to get fair trade involved now as they have a grand of my money and I have nothing to show for it except an awful experience. Have tried calling every day but no one picks up the phone. Emails haven't received a response. Honestly if you find the same piece of furniture or something similar go buy it even if it's more expensive. At least you'll get some service because this has been an absolute nightmare.

Great value for above average quality

I am very satisfied with my purchase of the high gloss buffet sideboard. The quality is very good for a composite board and self assembly furniture piece. It looks stylish and sleek. Whilst it is not an expensive piece, it suits the purpose for which it was purchased and friends are going to order the same one now that they have seen it assembled in our home. Just some minor improvements needed like slightly larger diameter holes for the cabinet feet and some pre-drilled holes for the front of the door hinges would save the minor effort of hand screwing through the laminate. The unit took about 4 hours to assemble with the occasional coffee and double-checking sanity break included.
Overall I rate the item 9.5/10 for quality and top stars for value for money.

Poor Communication and Extremely Long Wait Times

I have placed 2 orders with Milan Direct, and on both occasions the items have failed to be delivered within the specified time upon ordering, and when I have contacted Milan Direct I have been told that either the items have been discontinued, or that the order had still not been processed by the manufacturer. When items have been delivered I was not notified by the delivery company with a date, and items were left outside as I was not home. Milan Direct were helpful upon being contacted about the issues but were also very slow to respond to my emails. Overall I haven't been impressed with their service at all.

Excellent

I bought 2 leather bedside tables and they were just what I was hoping for, to be honest they were actually a lot better then what I expected...They were easy just to add the finishing touches on, I did it myself..Love them have to rate them 5 stars...I certainly will shop with Milan Direct again...
