Hi I put in a claim over 3 years ago to claim for the emissions but I keep being told they keep having meetings and then they say it’s put forward to another date and keep saying we will inform you of any key decisions I have emailed them they told me that I wouldn’t be able to leave as I signed a contract what is going on I know other people that have done this with other companies and had results is this a scam

Yes, unfortunately the litigation process can be slow-moving, not least because we operate in some of the largest group action working its way through the High Court system at the moment. We estimate that claims take 3 to 5 years. As a group claim, claims are typically dealt with simultaneously. Milberg really care
I was sceptical about the whole thing, to be honest. Even to the point when Milberg contacted me on a number of occasions to let me know about the outcome of my claim and that I had a sum due to be paid to me. They use a 3rd party solution called 'ShieldPay' that automates the payment straight into your bank, however, I had problems receiving the link and just couldn't get it to come through on email. They were brilliant and provided an alternative method of payment. Two people (Caitlin McArthur and Hendrick Kronemeyer) case managed my claim and kept an eye on how things were progressing and when I would likely receive payment. Great service, especially Caitlin and Hendrick. I felt as if they were really keen to make sure I got the winning payment. Bravo, Milberg.

Non payment being issued
After several attempts over the past 2 years.
First of a Cheque payment declined at the bank
Still i have not received any money or explaining why this is happening.
Telephone calls promising funds will be transferred to my bank northing

My basic view.
Took ages and had to chase up several times. Contact people kept changing. Also proceeded on my behalf without full authorisation as far as I am concerned. But in the end they got me my compensation from VW even if it should have been more. Only winners in these issues are the law firms on both sides :-)

I filled out all necessary paperwork etc given all information that was asked for and I'm still waiting for my compensation. I'm reading people have had their compensation and received monthly updates, I don't get monthly updates only emails every so often. Not looking good I've got major doubts about this

To confirm, your claim is part of a wider group litigation process. This means that when one claim is settled or concluded within this specific emissions claim, all will be settled or concluded at the same time.
For the avoidance of doubt, the only emissions claim that has reached a settlement or concluded at this stage is the VW emissions claim. Your claim is not associated with this claim and the Group Litigation claim that you are associated with is still ongoing. This is because there are different Defendants for each claim, and each is at different stages of the court and litigation process.
