The data points requested within the opt-out process align with the formal requirements for opting-out of the legal proceedings. The Competition Appeal Tribunal must be able to identify with certainty the legitimate number of individuals who have opted-out of the proceedings. The data points requested ensure that individuals who either opt-in or opt-out are truly associated with the claim at hand. This minimises any attempts to negatively affect the legitimate numbers of individuals associated with the proceedings.
This information is be stored securely in compliance with all applicable data protection and privacy laws consistent with industry standards. As the Competition Appeal Tribunal must be able to identify with certainty the legitimate number of individuals who have opted-out of the proceedings, your information will be stored for the duration of the claim but will thereafter be delete.

In answer to your comments, we understand that Steam is very popular and has a loyal customer base. The purpose of the claim is not to harm customers but to establish that the commissions and restrictions imposed on developers are anti-competitive and have caused increased prices for PC games and add-on content. We are hopeful that a successful claim against Valve will result in the payment of compensation to the gamers affected, encourage Valve and similar companies to not engage in anti-competitive conduct, and lead to more competitive prices in the PC games market.

I am a Steam user, and UK resident and this is an honest review of my experience & thoughts.
Firstly All negative reviews since January where recently removed bumping this rating from 2* to 4.5* In my opinion this gives people falsified confidence in a firm that would will be helping them with very important legal issues.
My original review of my-
30% commission is industry standard for all platforms.
DLC for steam only when you own the game on steam? also the same for all platforms. This means the attack on Steam is meritless from the very start.
Going after A good company like steam who has supported gamers every step of the way over a company's for example like Amazon or Epic games is diabolical. A Greedy disgrace.
Steam has competition from platforms like-
Epic game stores, Xbox app/game pass, Gog, EA, Ubisoft Connect, Battle.Net, Amazon games, Nintendo, PS store, and many more Plus many other places to buy games.
The reason steam dose so well and is supported by the gamers is due to the fact they are the good guys! They look after the gamers when 90% of the others have done us wrong. Steam has earnt my support and my money as a customer and they look after the games Devs just as much!
Milberg London LLP going after the best standard for gaming is for nothing other than greed and they should be ashamed.
