In a nutshell, I wish I'd never ordered from Millennium - 'UK's leading music technology supplier'? Yeh right! I ordered a Custom PC costing over £1200. Took over 3 months to build and when I finally got it, bits were missing. I had to chase them every week. I'm convinced if I hadn't, I'd still be waiting for the bloody thing! Fobbed off with numerous excuses ranging from the slightly believable to the down right incompetence and lies. I'd be embarrassed if I ran this company.
My advice is not to get anything from here unless you can physically walk out of the shop with it. My guess is that millennium has got serious cash problems so if you do choose here, use a credit card.

I ordered a guitar and tuner over a month ago and they still haven't arrived despite being told that it will only take a few days. I have tried to call them but it just keeps ringing regardless of what time I call. I have sent 2 emails and the guy just says '' I'll chase it up" but then doesn't reply.
The guitar eventually came, but the poor customer service ruined the whole experience for me. I would have happily paid a lot more for the guitar to actually come on time. Personally, I won't be buying anything from them again.
My Millennium PCs is awesome - it looks awesome - its super fast and extremely powerful.
I spent over £2000 on mine - if you are going for one of the big ones I can't recommend them enough but allow a good month for them to build it.
Ordered a PC 2 months ago, was told there'd be a slight delay on the initial 10-14 days turn around they say on their site, which was fine.
But since then customer service has been utter crap, I spent 2 grand of my hard earned money on a machine which I at least expect some communication about, I have sent them numerous E-mails. Only about 2 have been responded to and every time i call either it goes straight to voicemail or I get fobbed off about technicians having a problem with an order of processors or harddrives. I'm not an idiot, so don't fob me off....
The worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If making music is your livelihood, avoid like the plague.
No stars.
I bought some Gator equipment case stock here last Thursday, price was the best I could find. Order was with me on this Monday, and to be honest the quality of it shocked me - broken wheels, badly constructed cases and latches.
I was pretty angry when I called them to complain but it was quickly obvious that they were far more pissed off about it than I was. Dutifully photographed the stuff and mailed the pictures to Millennium on Tuesday - they got back to me within minutes to say it would be replaced, the defective items picked up within three days with no cost to me.
I though this was pretty good service (if it happened on schedule) but I was also advised that one of the other cases from Gator would probably be a better fit for the contents (Hammond SK2), it has a different build to the one i had originally ordered and was from a more expensive range (GPKE). The defective case was picked up about an hour ago, and the other (and yes, its a better fit....) GPKE one was dropped off at the same time. I was not charged the difference, though would have happily paid it.
So, from disgruntled and angry to upgraded advocate within a day i'd say. Never known a supplier to resolve something like this so quickly, and most appreciated was Rick keeping me up to date with emails as he sorted it out.
Very impressed, very satisfied customer here.

I was torn between buying a second hand Korg Kronos and a new one and needed a great deal. I contacted the store and they were very competitive on price and so decided to buy a brand new one. The keyboard arrived in just a couple of days and i'm delighted with both the keyboard and the service.
Would definitely recommend and would definitely use again.
I have had a terrible experience with Millenium music, and since first placing an order with them in July 2013 '13 I am still awaiting refunded money. At the bottom I have pasted the complaint letter I sent which explains the main issue. Communication has been terrible, there have been excuses made for non-delivery of products and I would never ever shop here again and would recommend anyone ordering larger products in particular to avoid (I used SolidHawk for my music-PC in the end, and would recommend).
My latest issue is that I asked for a refund of my latest order of a pop-sheild and reflection filter on 28th October '13 (after goods still hadn't arrived despite ordering on 27th September '13) and sourced from another store who delivered within 2 days. I am still to receive any money back and am likely to have to get my bank to pursue a refund through my business account.
Complaint letter about main issue (sent 3rd October '13):
I am writing regarding the refund owed to me for order reference xxxxx for a Music PC to the cost of £3261.28. The order was placed on 31 July 2013 and my contract stated that I would receive the completed order within 2 weeks of ordering. The letter also states ‘should there be any delay however, we will inform you and give you regular updates as to your orders progress’. On Saturday 17th August (17 days) I called the store to be told no one could help regarding my order and to call back Monday. When I called back on Monday, the sales assistant I spoke to informed me that they were awaiting a part and my order could be another 2 weeks. It was at this point on Monday 19th August I decided to go into the store to cancel my order.
30 days after choosing to cancel the order I had still received no refund although was promised efforts would be made to refund the full amount. However, on 20th August I received a partial refund of £1000.
After this, I chose to spend some of the remaining balance on other goods totalling £1228.98. This, in addition to the £1000 refunded already on 20th September 2013 left a total left to refund of £1032.40.
I was told on the 27th September 2013 that I would receive a call on Monday 30th September regarding the remaining balance to be refunded. I did not receive a call. I was also told to expect the balance in my account by Wednesday 2nd October. As of Thursday 3rd October I still have not received the refund.
I have now chased this up with Trading Standards and lodged a formal complaint and this letter is to inform you that if the remaining balance is not received in the next 7 days (Thursday 10th October) I will take the issue further with Trading Standards and my bank. The 30 days Millenium had to legally refund the balance expired on September 18th.
If you dispute any of the dates or content of this letter, please respond in writing. Otherwise I look forward to receiving my refund in full.
(The final refund was received on 14th October '13)

As a one stop shop for recording Millennium ticks all the boxes. I purchased a Falcon Laptop, MOTU Ultralite, Cubase 7 and an Audio Technica AT2035.
After originally calling to enquire about a Macbook for recording Rick from Millennium walked me through the specs of the Falcon laptops they make and drew up a custom order for me including everything I needed to get recording saving me a lot of money compared to the Apple option. The staff were friendly and really know there stuff, everyone I dealt with throughout the process of building the machine was great and they made sure I could start recording as soon as I turned the laptop on.
Couldnt recommend more. Thanks guys
I required an audio interface and Schecter guitar for my younger brother. For the audio interface the sales staff pointed me in the direction of a Focusrite product.
I also purchased the Schecter guitar from these guys, this needed to be ordered in. The product was ready for collection, in store and on time. The staff kept in contact and let me know as soon as the item was ready for collection.
Overall I'm very pleased with the service offered by the staff and I'd definitely order with these guys again.
The initial purchase was faulty (due to the courier mishandling) but Millennium Music were very helpful in resolving the issue. I would certainly recommend them and will no doubt be using their services again.
The studio I work for bought an MBox3 from these guys last year. Within a few months the product was failing intermittently (not Millenium's fault, for sure), and it seemed from various forums that this was a known issue. We duly sent the MBox back to Millennium as they suggested. All good.
But this was now *4 MONTHS* ago. I think I call them almost every week for an update, and while everyone I've ever spoken to has been thoroughly pleasant I'm either told someone would call us back (and they *very* rarely do) or am told "Sorry, there's no news... we'll chase Avid". I call the week after and the story is the same.
OK so I can totally believe that Avid take ages to do anything but to be honest I really don't think this is our problem. The unit had a known fault and we've been an interface short since the start of the year. Even once it was agreed by everyone involved that we are due a replacement we were told they had no MBoxes in. Couldn't they have seen this coming?! But no, we were encouraged to buy a more expensive product that we'd have to pay extra for! (Oh, but with a rather paltry discount considering the amount of trouble we've had and the amount of chasing we've had to do.) Thanks, but I was really hoping to have an MBox about 3 months ago.
There seems to be a complete lack of contingency for when things take ages (that, I understand may be out of their control) and that seems to chime with many other reviews here. Whatever the reasons, MBoxes are not rare and we could have had a replacement MONTHS ago. To have been waiting this long, to have called so often, (and not be called back so often) and then be kept waiting even longer is just totally unacceptable. I've made it clear so often that I'm disappointed by the service but it doesn't seem to make any difference... (although I do wonder how long we would need to wait if I hadn't ever hassled them) and so it descends to review sites:
4 months on, we're still waiting. Sorry, but rubbish. Don't bother.
Excellent service from very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They couldn't do enough to help me. Thoroughly recommended.
Absolutely loved purchasing from these guys. They were incredibly helpful, welcoming and treated me with awesome hospitality. I went in asking for a set of KRK Speakers for my home studio. Rather than just saying "yes" and getting the purchase over and done with as quickly as possible they asked me all the necessary questions so that both they and I could be sure that I was making the right choice. They recommended to me a vastly cheaper set of speakers, the Yamaha HS-50's, which they believed would be better suited to the music I was producing. Not only that but they were incredibly helpful in recommending and packing all the other necessary components that I would need for the speakers.
I have been in once or twice since then (completely broke no less) just to have a look at some of the other products they have on offer. They were very happy to get some of the awesome products out for me and let me have a good long play with them. Namely the Microkorg and the Kaossilator, which I must have been fucking about with for almost an hour! Needless to say, they were happy to provide me with information on the products and even give me a couple of demonstrations as to how they work.
No doubt I'll be buying most of my stuff from these guys in the future.
Really impressed with my recent purchase from Millennium music.
My new RME interface is just perfect and arrived in time (as promised) for a recording session this weekend!
Brilliant advice and fast delivery, I would recommend them to anyone.
Ordered some speakers worth £150, they were out of stock but i was not informed. I asked for a refund and was told it would take up to 30 days. 30 days later I had not received a payment or heard anything from the company. I finally got a reply and was told that it would be payed back to me in 3 days, and if i wanted a amazing deal on some monitors i was entitled to one. I did not receive the payment after 3 days and when I emailed another member of staff he offered me no reductions on the speakers that I wanted. i have not heard from them since, and have still not received a refund.
I recommend DV247 as they not only matched the price of millenium music but gave me a £5 reduction + next day delivery and a 4 year warranty which is what I expect from any company.

Needed a guitar a bit sharpish for a gig with 4 days left to go. Nowhere in Brighton could get the guitar I wanted. Arion not only suggested an alternative, & gave me advice on the spec (and which colour looked the sweetest) he had it to my office the next day for practise that evening.
Best service I've had. Thanks Millennium! Happy Christmas.
Excellent info over the phone and quick and efficient delivery.
Competitive prices too!
Excellent staff, service and products! Should be number one on your list! XxXxX
When I ordered a Steinberg dongle (e-Licensor key) from Millenium Music, recently, it was competitively priced and offered with free delivery. Probably take ages to be delivered, I thought. Not a bit of it; It arrived early the following morning so, I was up and running within 24 hours of ordering. I was suitably impressed.
