Barnstable High Street Millets store is always very friendly, and very helpful, always helping when ever I visit the store,
I bought 2x Berghaus waterproof coats over the past 3 weeks and was very pleased with the service as always I received from best member of staff in my opinion, and I only buy when Elliott is in the store to help me. Thank you, great service.

I was visiting North Devon to marshal in a race in Lynmouth, and since the weather forecast looked pretty appalling, I decided to get a proper waterproof from Millets.

The service was amazing courtesy of a guy called Rob, and the jacket kept me warm and dry in the middle of a proper downpour. Very recommended!

Mitch was a great help whilst we were picking boots and trainers. Nothing was too much trouble. Great shop. Great staff.

Jeremy went above and beyond to make sure myself and friend got the right size shoes.

We were made very welcome in the Barnstaple branch along with our dog by Mitch. Having explained our requirements and our preference for a particular boot manufacturer Mitch was patient and knowledgeable in product information in assisting us with purchasing our replacement walking boots. Excellent all round customer service.

Have tried the Peter Storm waterproof, leather walking trainers and they feel great.

My partner and i went in to buy some new boots for his work. The lovely man helped us out and made sure the boots he chose fitted him ok, offered some thicker socks to try too! He was a really friendly man who gave excellent customer service. - he should definitely be recognised. We would recommend this store.

Came in for new pair of hiking boots and trousers. Found both. Rob was very helpful and knowledgable without the ‘hard sell’. Still managed to talk me into buying some boot protection though! Many thanks.

Small store but well stocked and brilliant staff. All very friendly but Elliot especially was very helpful and took extra time to talk us through our options when buying a new tent.

We went into Millets Barnstaple to look for a pair of walking boots/shoes for my partner. Elliot came over to help us and my partner explained he wasn’t sure what he wanted. Elliot explained about the different types of shoes, mid boots and high boots. He really knows his stuff and found my partner the perfect fit for his needs. He is knowledgable, polite and helpful. I will definitely be returning when I want to purchase a new pair for myself.
Elliot is a credit to the store.

I visited Millets in Barnstaple close to the end of the day on Friday 26th July to look for walking shoes. Elliot had started cashing up but put that to one side. He listened to my requirements, (as 'slip resistant' as possible, arch support ect) and then selected 4 pairs of which I bought 1 and gave me a discount to make up for the fact they were not in the sale. Top man.

Helpful staff, Elliott was knowledgeable and provided sound and honest advice when we were looking to buy boots.

I was served by Elliott, who really made my shoe-shopping experience exceptional. His knowledge of all the footwear, all the brands, materials they use, pros/cons etc made for such an easy shopping experience. He was able to serve myself and another lady at the same time, both of us making purchases thanks to Elliott's expertise. Highly recommend taking to Elliott if you're looking for new outdoors footwear.

Elliott was a fantastic salesman who really helped us to choose the right walking boot. Very helpful, full of good knowledge and did not rush us.
