Excellent service from the polite and friendly staff who helped me pick out a coat earlier today. They gave me advice on both the colour and size of the coat, and the pricing was very reasonable, especially for such high quality. Sophie is highly professional and very attentive. A great experience all around!

A lovely outdoor shop, got most of things you need, very helpful shop assistant, especially Vic & Lee at Colchester millets, always put themselves out to help and advice, from a pair of socks, walking pole to walking trousers…

Staff are absolutely lovely. I was served my Gareth who fixed a tent pole for me completely free of charge!

Sophie, Gareth and all other staff are amazing, They really look after their customers. They will always do their best to make sure that you have the items you need. Sophie and Gareth listen to what you need and go out of their way to help you. Give lots of advice if you’re not sure what to have when you go on a walk, or on a camping trip or any outdoor adventures. Going into the shop can be better than looking on line. If it’s not in the shop what you need. They will order it for you. Have your order delivered to your house ( most of the time the delivery will be free if you order from the shop) great customer service.

Why can't you rate higher than a 5! Sophie and Lee are outstanding team members of the Colchester store, helped my son get kitted out for his upcoming Scouting trip. So knowledgeable and helpful. A real credit to Millets, a brand known and trusted.

Very friendly, efficient service. Happily took me straight to the correct product, despite it being an inexpensive item, so not a large sale.

Nice friendly looks from the staff as I entered. Easily approachable. Knowing what I wanted was no longer made I still mentioned it by name. With a whoosh one of the ladies turned on her heel and went to an area of shelving, pulled out a box and explained that it was a replacement product. No hard sell, just info. I needed another item in order to use it properly but not in stock. Not to worry another lady at the till had heard all and was already looking on the store network for availability. The upshot was that both items were ordered for home delivery. Bosh! Many thanks Sophie and Lindy. A pleasure doing business.

I had an urgent need for socks as i had managed to neglect my feet when leaving Derby at 10am this morning!
Belinda was extremely helpful, even de tagged and facilitated my sliding my fresh cotton attire onto my incredibly sweaty tootsies! I did feel like cinderella due to her kind nature

Mandy was extremely helpful when we were shopping for equipment for a uni trip to South Africa, without putting any annoying pressure on us to buy. Very adept member of staff. Very pleased with our experience and our purchases. Also a shout out to the lovely young man on the counter in the afternoon (we went back because we forgot to buy a jacket) who was very friendly and helpful, despite the fact we ran out of time and had to rush off to get our train. Very positive experience all round.

Very helpful member of staff, Lee. Helped us chose a camping seat and found 6 of our choice in the storeroom. He ordered another 6 chairs and had them sent to our house. He checked for promotions and offers. Funny too.

Very very helpful staff (Lee). Helped me get a right size trousers for my daughter and also Lee gave discount for DofE , which I was not aware of. Helped me get a summer sleeping bag. I'm very satisfied with the purchase and the helpful attitude of the staff.
