Another successful shop!
We went to Millets this morning to buy new walking boots and wellingtons. Diane who served us was both helpful and very informative especially around guidance for correct size of boots and the composition and care of what we decided to buy. This is our go to place for walking and camping equipment as we invariably find the staff courteous and well informed.

EXCELLENT OLD FASHIONED SERVICE IN SUPERB SHOP
I visited Millets twice last week and luckily for me on the first occasion I was served by James who I found to be exceptionally helpful, friendly and knowledgeable in my quest to replace my >20 year old Berghaus Goretex jacket.
I was so impressed that I returned a few days later with my wife for his guidance in purchasing good quality hiking trousers for us both and again he was equally patient and knowledgeable.

I went in for a new pair of walking shoes. I have wide feet, so buying online is difficult. I explained what I was looking for and a footwear brand with a generally wider fit was suggested to me. The first pair brought to me were a good fit first time with the suggested brand but I was wasn't happy with the tread. Another shoe was suggested and brought up in my size. Which was another good fit and great to walk in.
Very happy with my experience.

Lovely welcoming shop with very helpful staff
Extremely helpful member I'd staff called Diane. I was trying to find a coat for my husband, and very unsure if it would fit. Diane found a coat for me, she even tried it on so I could try to imagine if it would suit my husband.
Diane also kept it at the till whilst I went looked in other shops. I went back and purchased the coat and as I have a blue light card I was able use this as well. I would definitely recommend going to Millets for outdoor clothes. My husband loved the coat and it fits perfectly!

I had fantastic service from Daniel and Linda when I returned faulty walking boots. They were very welcoming and provided me with a new pair without any fuss. What had been a problem for me was made very simple by fantastic staff.
