Phoned to check stock of an item and spoke to Suzannah who confirmed the item was in stock, I mentioned that I would be along later to collect, which I did and found she had put some by without me asking. Excellent service I thought.

Disappointing! I was looking for folding garden chairs when I noticed Millets had a sale! Talking to the very helpful and pleasant male assistant he advised me that they had a special discount on Berghaus folding chairs which only the stores were privy too. I said I would check with my husband and return if agreed I would return to purchase. several hours later I returned and ordered 2 Berghaus chairs which were highly discounted as they were old stock from the previous year! It was an exceptional deal and felt quite happy with the purchase. As it was a special anniversary I did not pick up an email from Millets that evening that the order was cancelled. It also stated that I would have to return to the store to get a refund, unfortunately when I returned to the store the next day I forgot my mobile phone but I did have my receipts with me, I explained the situation to a lovely lady who was in the store but she explained she was unable to give me a refund without the email notification! I did query the cancellation as it stated the chairs were Hi Gear not Berghaus which I had ordered! She advised that the young man who had taken the order would be in the next day so I could check with him when I returned with my email notification of cancellation on my mobile.
I returned the next day with the email and receipts expecting to see the young gentleman who had taken my original order and question why it did not say Berghaus chairs as opposed to saying Hi Gear on the email.
Unfortunately it was a different person than I was expecting to see and he said he had not idea or record of the reduced old stock Berghaus chairs and consequently issued a refund. I feel very annoyed that I made 4 trips in total to the store to purchase the chairs /regund. Not only that I wasn’t able to get a plausible explanation why my order to purchase the Berghaus chairs as offered and ordered in the store! We’re not available! Miss selling!

Max was really enthusiastic and wanted to provide a fast service, heading for the ladder at top speed to find my size in 4 different walking boots. I left with the best boots for me. Max also wanted me to acknowledge his great manager who really great knowledge of the boots as she knew which boots would be the most comfortable for my feet. Well done Fleet Millets - a great team and a good result for me!

I purchased some trainers in October 2024, but they had failed prematurely. I returned them and Suzannah in Fleet branch was extremely helpful, accepted that as I'd had them for less than a year, I could get a replacement pair.
Fantastic service, very easy to deal with and I feel confident in purchasing from Millets as this is not the 1st time a product has been replaced without question.
