A very helpful young man working in the Southsea branch of Millets helped my daughter choose a backpack for travelling. He pointed out the features required for the type of trip my daughter planned, such as the backpack rain cover for rainy season. Also helping with packing cubes and accessories. Thank you for all your help.

I went in to buy a tent and some other camping equipment. I spoke to a sales assistant, explained that I'd been online and saw a tent I wanted, but wanted some advice on my choice. The sales assistant was very helpful and knowledgeable about the tents. He gave me some very good advice of how the tent I had chosen wouldn't be the best choice and gave me some recommendations to choose from. After choosing the tent, he was then very helpful in pointing me in the direction of the changing rooms to try on some trousers. All in all, a very pleasant and productive trip, getting everything I needed on the day.

Always provide a good friendly service every time I go in. The clothing I got yesterday was good value and quality.

I came in here today for a couple of obscure tent mending products which I probably wouldn't have found on my own. I was ably helped by Chris who also answered my questions about footwear. This is a really good shop with a good range of products and friendly,efficient and pleasant staff. I use it a lot.

Looking for a pair of walking shoes. Really good advice from the sales assistant and I tried a number of different items. We eventually landed in the right pair but my size wasn’t in stock. They arranged for delivery to my home while I was in-store. Couldn’t have been easier. Recommend this branch. Thanks

I popped into the store, knowing I needed a decent sleeping bag for a trip. I was not expecting to find what I needed, but Sam gave me some excellent guidance and helped me pick out a Vango that was the right size, spec, and price point. Good job, Sam....it fits like a glove!
