I’m sharing my experience to help other customers.
I purchased a MisterChef 1600W Electric Meat Grinder through B&Q. The product was used only occasionally for normal domestic purposes. After around two years, the motor burned out completely during normal use.
I contacted the seller, who refused any repair, replacement, or refund, stating the one‑year warranty had expired (it’s was two years).
I then contacted B&Q to raise a formal complaint under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and requested their complaints process. Despite multiple attempts, I received no response.
I’m posting this so other customers are aware of my experience and the lack of engagement when trying to resolve a legitimate fault.

I absolutely love my mixer, it feels really expensive and well built. I’ve used all the attachments and got excellent results. If you are someone who only uses a small amount of ingredients then it’s probably not suitable in such a large bowl, but for an enthusiast home cook like me it’s perfect !!

I bought a stand mixer but unfortunately it did not work. I phoned and spoke to a WONDERFUL woman called Nell, who was incredibly helpful. With customer service and care now more appalling than ever - automated responses, people just not caring, not interested - it was a delight to speak to someone who cared to put the problem right. Daily phone calls from Nell with updates, reassurances, and confirmed delivery arrangements, she really could not have been any better. She was not going to be happy until I was happy!

I ordered a pork chow main, i hot home and it was a vegetable one, I rang and they said come back, I again drove back and was confronted by the lady who was trying to listen to the cctv to see if I was lying!!!! One you could not hear a word on the curb but was adamant that I had said vegetable, why would I drive all the way back if I had the right order!!! Rude I would advise not to use and the staff should be schooled in how to be more polite to customer and not make them listen to cctv to try and prove them wrong as if they are lying.. I don’t need to try and swindle a free meal I’d rather they get the order right first time double triple check the order save me driving there and back twice. Won’t be using again not after this fiasco.

Wonderful Lady checked warehouse, for stock to see if what I wanted was there , ( Beater ) for mixer , sent me a link ,so I could order ,very helpful and very polite can't fault service 😀, bit of delay as for got to give Address for them to send 😅😅😅😅 my fault ,

The customer service from NEL was brilliant.
The spare part came next day instead of 4-5 day as said in the email.My wife was very happy for it to have arrived so early.

I had an item that I hadnt taken out of the box and used since purchase until just short of 12 months. The item had an issue and I contacted the customer service.
Due to personal issues I had lots of delays going back to them and overall from me first contacting to the resolution was 3 months (all because of me not the company). Not once did they penalise me for the time delay and very quickly once I had sent the video of the issue sent me a replacement unit and contacted me to say when it had shipped etc.
I would highly recommend purchasing items from them and I love my meat grinder now that I'm finally using it.
