I made an online order over a Bank Holiday weekend but forgot to order all the items I needed. I contacted the shop by email after the weekend and received a very prompt response advising me how to place an additional order to be combined withe the original one. The combined order arrived the following day - perfect!

Pre-order for Tamiya's 1/12 Lotus 78 was made on 19 March 2023, and the item was delivered on 19 April, just one month later. Many other suppliers still seem to be showing 'available for pre-order' for this kit, so I'm thinking Model Shop Leeds must've been high up on the list of who gets supplied first. The price was the best on offer too. The model was received in pristine condition so this was a very positive experience, especially when you consider there could be a long time lag until delivery when items are pre-ordered from overseas and paid for in full.

Helpful knowledgeable staff and the parcels arrived on time with the correct items.

Used to be fine, bought many things from here in the past. Recently though things have gone downhill. Ordered a small electric helicopter shown on the website, automated response to confirm, then zilch.
Tried phoning numerous times, same with emails, seem like they are deliberately ignoring me, so only option was to ask Pay pal to step in, got the payment back ok but what a strange way to run a business. Lastly I got an obnoxious email from them essentially blaming me for them not delivering,not communicating etc, what a load of plonkers !!!
