I have used these guys a few times for different projects and feel it's time to review them. The product, both windows and doors are great quality, and the manufactured product are done very well with good accuracy. Lead times are more than reasonable and delivery is a smooth and informative process. I have had 1 issue with a mechanism failure, and these guys just supplied a whole new sash for replacement in good time. Thoroughly recommend for services, products and fair prices.

This was my second purchase from Modern UPVC Windows and yet again I was very satisfied with everything from the ordering process, customer service, delivery, comms along the way, and finally the quality of the product, and all at a reasonable price.

The website was easy to use. It had useful information on measuring and fitting. This was my first time fitting windows. After placing the order I was given a delivery date and I was able to track the driver. The order was delivered with the panes and frames separated which made it easy to handle. The frames were the exact measurements ordered. The quality of the frames and panes was very good. I would recommend this company.

I purchased 6 windows, 1 door, triple bi-fold. We had a mix of double and treble-glazed windows in our order. The ordering process was easy, and they were delivered in a reasonable time. Everything purchased was going into my two-storey extension. I used a building company that have over 20 years of building experience, and also have great proficiency when fitting doors, windows, bi-folds etc. I would also add that their prices were very competitive, hence my decision to use this company. I paid over £5K for everything, which I feel is good value.

About 3-4 weeks after installing the bi-fold windows a 6" hairline crack appeared at the bottom of in the internal middle pain. At that time, no one was working in the kitchen where the bi-folds were installed, so I was surprised to see this crack appear. After some research, I understand cracks can appear when the temperatures drops very low, which is consistent with the timelines of when they were installed, which was towards the end of October 2025.

I contacted Modern UPVC Windows to explain what had happened, it took a considerable time for them to reach their decision. Actually, their responses were very slow and I had to do quite a bit of chasing. Many weeks passed before they reached their decision, which was that I had to pay for the new panel. I did this as I didn't want to take the chance the whole panel might break. The new panel cost me £259. The replacement came well packaged and promptly, at no extra charge. I've had it fitted now, and I have no problems.

Overall, I would say the windows, door and Bi-fold (with the exception of the internal window pain cracking) are excellent. The sales service was good, less so the after sales service. Disappointed to have had to pay the extra £259 for the faulty window pain, and it not being covered under warranty or a good will gesture.

Would I recommend them? Probably not due to my experience, although the products are good and their prices are competitive. I just worry about their after sales service, and that is simply because of my experience.

Exactly what I ordered, delivered on time and easy to install

I am highly disappointed with my experience and cannot recommend this company. The quality of the windows is far below what they advertise. Every single window frame arrived with scratches, and the glass panes were scratched as well.To make matters worse, one of the glass units arrived completely defective. I contacted customer service to find a solution, but they never resolved the issue.Save your money and look elsewhere. Their advertising is highly misleading, the product quality is poor, and they do not stand behind their commitments.
