My partner and I recently found a house to rent through Moginie James and the process was very straightforward. The team made it a very streamlined process and everyone was super nice. Naomi was really helpful, always friendly and happy to answer our questions and we were very happy to have her guide us through the process! Laura then took over at the final stages and she was very efficient and quick to finalise it all. Would definitely recommend!

Just moved into our rental home today as our property is being renovated due to flooding. Explained the situation on the phone to Naomi, as we requested to view a few properties. She helped us find the perfect one!! From the moment our application was in Naomi and Seirian keep us in the loop of the whole process. At the final point, Laura Churm took over and no question was a problem in the final stages of the contract!

Easy and convenient to rent a property with this agent. Its complete from A-Z sorted everything you need, guidance and follow up by email and phone call as well as proper system setup for tenant and landlord make experiences less hustle. Couldn't thanks enough for everything. Just perfectly what you need.

My experience with Moginie James has been very disappointing. I had one year as a tenant dealing with the property management of Pontcanna branch with Natalie Thomas as my property manager.
It took me more than 2 months to get my deposit back after their excessive deductions as they tried to claim money for everything possible. Eventually the only way out of it was to talk to my landlords directly, because the communication with the agency was just impossible.
Alongside this, my check in inventory had completely wrong pictures and was never corrected, the problems with heating and hot water were never dealt as an emergency - they left us with broken heating in the coldest winter month for a few weeks, and at the end I had to organise everything myself. Many of important emails simply went unanswered, and also calling never helped things moving more quickly.
They might seem very efficient with viewings and renting out the place, but once you need to deal with property management as a tenant, it's horrible. I'd definitely recommend avoiding listings by Moginie James.

Was able to find a lovely little flat for me and my partner thanks to Zac who had shown us around two places, we had a bit of issues initially securing the flat we chose in the end but with his help we were able to get it all sorted too and in good time too! Laura Churm was also very incredibly helpful and sweet during the process, all communication was efficient and done so in a timely manner. Thank you again :)

Jessica, the lettings valuer, was amazing, very experienced with a wealth of knowledge that gave me the peace of mind and confidence to go ahead with letting out my home. I was extremely impressed with how they conduced the viewings and the perfect new tenant they found for my property exceeded expectations. Very happy!

I have interacted with a lot of Estate/Letting Agents in Cardiff and Moginie James have been brilliant. They have been really good at responding quickly to enquiries, really helpful with lots of information and regularly check in to keep me up to date. All the properties are very well managed and they have excellent information and advice about the Residency Scheme and Tenant Liability Insurance. I was shown around by Zac in the Pontcanna office who was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and really made an effort to give me as much information about the property as possible.

I viewed a property earlier today ( 19/04) in canton. Whilst it didn’t work out with the property, Zac, who showed me around, was excellent and answered every question I had and was very professional.
