I logged into my Experian account and I was rated with an excellent credit rating. I then decided to search for a balance transfer credit card via your credit card checker. I am now very annoyed with your site as I completed a 'soft search' for a balance transfer credit card and then completed the Virgin Money Credit Card Balance Transfer quick application after it claimed it was a soft search only and would not affect my credit score. After which I logged back into Experian account and my account went down by 156 points! Thank you, Melanie

I am extremely sorry to hear that your credit score decreased following using the Virgin Money Credit Card Balance transfer quick application.
Money.co.uk does offer a credit card eligibility checker, where the results we show you are supplied by a company called HD Decisions. They use Experian, Equifax and Callcredit to run their credit checks.
I can confirm that this won't leave a mark on your credit record, because it uses a soft search credit check to work out which cards you're likely to get.
Please do contact Virgin Money directly if their website stated they would carry a soft credit check, but instead carried out a hard credit check which affected your credit score after you submitted an application for a Credit Card Balance Transfer through their website.

MISLEADING PRESENTATION
I was looking for the best cash ISA rates and despite being pretty savvy financially was nearly fooled by the default presentation of 'affiliated' providers first. I imagine they comply with the letter of the regulations but it is clear that they are using every psychological trick in the book to steer you towards their 'affiliations'.
Safest to stick with Money Saving Expert or Which with no conflict of interests in providing comparisons. Certainly the best 1 year fixed rate was much easier to find with them.

Was miss sold life insurance by a rogue independent I F A have paid over £9000 in premiums for only a £2000 pay out for my funereal and too leave my 3 children some inheritance money. Thanks too money.co.uk website I am reclaiming my miss sold insurance money back and have taken out a new life assurance policy that will actually cover my funeral costs and a small amount for each of my children.

Where's the 'bookmark' feature? I want to bookmark my filter/sort settings, e.g. Instant Access sorted by interest rate, rather than have to repetitively re-set the same filter every time I visit the website.
