I recently completed on my first home purchase with a mortgage via the Mortgage Advice Bureau. I also elected to get income protection insurance via their Protection Advice team. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Graham McCabe handled my initial query and found me an excellent mortgage product, with a good rate and additional cash back. He was great and explained everything really well. My ongoing case was then handled by Kate Gregory. She was excellent and kept on top of things including chasing my solicitor when needed. My income protection insurance was handled by Mat Emery, who took a lot of time to run me through the options and make sure I was happy with my chosen product. I’d recommend MAB to anyone looking to buy, especially other first time buyers who need a bit of support.

Approached MAB after being recommended by a friend, advisor initially really helpful and promising, listened to me, took advice from a senior colleague and got back to me. Asked for documents to be uploaded and he would go away and get back to me within a few days. Documents all uploaded with all my personal details on. Advisor failed to get back in touch with me… despite multiple calls and emails I am yet to hear anything back. Appreciate my case was complex, but if it wasn’t achievable I’d expect honesty and some communication. Really disappointed. Went to another broker who listened to me and helped me.

Ioni has made this whole experience pleasant and easy. We hit a few bumps in the road with the whole process on our side and she took it in her stride and continued to give excellent service.
