I liked nothing about my stay. The shower was broken, the internet was unusuable, there was a piece of chicken on the floor, I don't think the sheets were clean. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again.

Do not rent a room. At this Motel6.
We rented two rooms and both of them were extremely dirty, windows did not lock, doors kept opening on their own, mattress was broken, outlets were broken with exposed wires, the table lamp could only be turned on and off by unscrewing the lightbulb, the shiwerhead did not work properly, the TV remote did not work, there was no hairdryer or refrigerator in the room, the receptionist tried to charge us for parking even though parking was advertised as free on the website.
This Motel should be closed and fully remodeled before they rent out another room.

This experience was not good and I would like my money back. There was homeless people outside all night every day all day and they were hanging out in the front lobby outside as guests were walking in. We felt uncomfortable and they made noise all night on top of that the Wi-Fi did not work. Then the worst part of all was that there was a roach problem. There was roaches in the room that we had to kill, and there was one giant one that would fly around, and that was very scary. We did not feel safe at all.

It was horrible roaches was n the room the shower didn’t cut off all the way so the floor was wet the tv didn’t work n when I first checked n the front desk person wasn’t n no hurry to help me please whoever cleaned my room threw away my personal items toothbrush body wash things like that but when I checked out the next morning that front desk person wasn’t n super sweet

The room had a noticeably unclean odor upon arrival. When I reported the issue to the front desk, I was given a smoker’s air freshener, which did nothing to resolve the smell. The odor persisted, and the response felt inadequate for addressing the problem.
There were police officers just two rooms down from mine, and someone knocked on my door twice at 2 a.m., which made me feel unsafe. The grounds looked neglected, almost like an abandoned property. The entire premises is in serious need of upgrades and better security. There were roaches in the bathroom. While the room appeared clean at first glance, it had a dirty, unpleasant smell that made it feel unsanitary. On the positive side, the towels appeared new and the water pressure was great. However, there was no Wi‑Fi on the property despite the advertisement stating “Free Wi‑Fi.” My kids were bored and unable to use their tablets, which was very inconvenient. Bring your own body wash, soap, washcloth, and towel. I would give this place a 2‑star rating. I wasn’t expecting a 5‑star motel, but they can definitely do better.

The room was clean and appeared to be newly renovated. The linens looked a bit old, but they smelled fresh. The mattress on the bed kept slipping because there were no non‑slip pads underneath, but the girls actually thought it was funny and enjoyed the ride. There were no bugs or roaches, and although the place was full, it was very quiet. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. There was no coffee available in the front office, but I loved that the motel was only ten minutes from the Military Academy. My sailor said the room was clean and served its purpose. There were some people gathered behind the building, which initially made me worry about the security of the property, but there was ultimately no need for concern. There were homeless individuals living in the wooded area nearby, though they did not bother anyone. One disappointment was that there is no pool on the property, even though the advertisement stated otherwise. The water pressure was slow, and I recommend bringing your own body wash, soap, washcloth, and towels.
On the positive side, there was a microwave in the room, everything was very clean, and housekeeping came by and did a great job — he was very pleasant. If you’re visiting for Naval Graduation, this location is ideal since it’s only about ten minutes from the Military Academy.

Very first Motel 6 ever is cute and a 2 min walk to the beach!
This is the very first Motel 6 ever! It’s cute and retro looking. The location is pretty amazing. Some rooms can see the beach. It’s only about a 2 minute walk to get on the sand! Rooms were small but clean, quiet, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. After leaving I realized I had left behind my AirPods. I spoke with the manager, Bibian, and she was SO very helpful! I got them back in the mail today!

If you are just looking for a place to…sleep
If you are just looking for a place to sleep this is definitely budget only type of hotel. The room was clean and very basic but the floors were coming up . The WiFi was not always working nor the tv remote but I just mainly slept there and spent my days in the park. If you want a cheap room and don’t mind those things it was okay

The "corporate" call center feels like…
The "corporate" call center feels like they recruited from the scam call centers, won't be surprised if it's just the same with the level of customer care and attention to detail they possess.
Dealing with them, compared to the wonderful in person staff, is like voluntarily chewing broken glass.
Edit: the automated response to this review is some lazy obfuscation, the "corporate" sweatshop call center "representatives" are still constantly and reliability lying, just to get you off the line. No resolution is offered, they just want the public good will, without applying the effort.

stay like wow , one of best motel 6 ever i stay , back to back , Carlsbad area quite bit 4 motel 6 lot of confusion which one better stay and i find on hidden jems in carlsbad.safe ,clean, comfy, friendly staff, spacious room, well placed landscaping. less than mile beach,resturant, and beauty is very quite in night time peaceful sleep with memory foam pillow yes in motel 6 memory foam pillows. This location for Motel 6 is pretty perfect. It's less than a mile from my job. They always have a room available, and they're clean and well stocked. This location should be doing real well. It's a newer hotel, and so their prices reflect This.
