Having found MOTEST Swindon for a few years, I wouldn't go anywhere else, the people their are amazing, my old banger gets through with practical advice on what to do, and the timings are very good, great place to take your car

After my car was fitted with a faulty part and I broke down 75 miles away from home on a saturday I didn't even receive a call on Monday from them and had to call them. They refused a courtesy car even when the fault was found. Finally got a courtesy car after 2 weeks when I emailed to complain.
The car took 27 days to fix and then I refused to pick the car up until I had details in writing of what had happened, this took them 10 days. When I collected the car ( 5 weeks had gone by at this point) the branch had no knowledge of a refund.
The area manager was so rude so I asked for someone else to deal with my complaint.....he just ignored me for 6 days until I contacted head office.
They called me a liar when asked for compensation for not having the car for the first 2 weeks...apparently I gladly declined a courtesy car. LIES!!
The managing director (and company owner) was rude to me when I chased payment.
DO NOT USE......EVER.
Disgusting service.

Never taken my car anywhere else and the service is 10 out of 10 so helpful even thou it failed on minor issues but they got it sorted within the hour 100% would recommend this company gary from Camberley thank you motest

My car was booked in for a winter service , the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. My car needed a few bits worked on and they did it with care. I also have just had an MOT and again the guys were friendly and worked on my car in great time. Would recommend this garage.

Before this most recent experience they would have got 5 stars but I was disgusted with how they could let my daughter drive home with a seriously under inflated tyre.
Oddly when we dropped the car off the tyre was inflated so how it became deflated is one of life's mysteries.
I understand that legally they have no obligation to offer to put air in the tyre but morally especially when the driver is a teenager a bit of thought for safety would not have gone a miss. We would have happily paid for some air to make the car safe to drive!
The car has now passed it's MOT but next year both cars will not be returning as I do not trust this company to have any concern for the safety of car owners.

My story from this garage is not good. I had problem with the fridge in my car it was licking. So I went to the garage told them the problem they checked my car the next day and they told me it is fine. The only thing they said was check the fridge regularly but it seems to be fine. My car was okay for 2 months but one day the engine broke down.

Unfortunately, I went to the same garage the next day after the breakdown with the help of the AA. At the garage they kept my car for about week without calling me without giving me a quote without even explaining what was wrong. But, after all, they said it was internal fridge licking.

But it was their fault they should have checked it beforehand before my engine breaks down. So now I need to scrap my car

That was my story believe it or not. I would not trust this garage for my next car, absolutely not

Really please with these guys. All the staff at the Swindon branch have been superb. Honest prices and always a smile. Will be using again!!

I have been a customer at Motest in Camberley for the last six years, my car, and two other family cars have all been MOT’d there each year, not to mention the recommendations I have made to friends and associates. Even after we moved to Bracknell we continued to use the branch such has been my loyalty to this company/ branch. I took my car to the branch today for a pre-booked MOT, in any event I arrived 5 minutes late, would you believe I was turned away and asked to re-book tomorrow? A bit rich considering that we have waited beyond our appointment time without complaint when it has been busy there in the past. Today it was not busy, in fact I was the only person there! There was only one other car in the car park, a silver merc AMG. Well done Andy Denny! Lost our business, I am not being treated like that by a company I have rewarded with my loyalty!

Motest in Farnham did a terrible job and have very poor service. Made me wait 2 hours to start work even though I turned up at the agreed appointment 10 minutes early. An apprentice did the work - all new tyres were under-inflated. Balancing not done properly so had the steering shaking. Spoke to garage who said to call the next day. The next day they said come back following week! Had to pay another garage to sort out balancing!
Clearly not a 'fast fit' garage nor giving any priority to customers who they mess around with or leave car with problems.

Motest Swindon are excellent, friendly customer service, easy to book an appointment at short notice and really fast quality repairs. I highly recommend these guys if you want peace of mind, I would not go anywhere else for MOT's, services or repairs now,

I can't recommend MOTest Swindon highly enough. Conan, Alli and Kaylene front the house and provide a very warm and genuine welcome at all times. Conan's mechanical knowledge is unrivaled and I will not trust my Merc SL500 with anyone else. He is a pure genius and add to this that he will always seek to provide the most economical yet robust solution to a problem has meant that I will never go anywhere else. Finally, the tasty free coffee, well, you just can't go wrong! Thanks Team Swindon, you are awesome!

I decided to use them for my MOT at short notice as I had a poor experience from another company. It was easy to book the slot on the internet. It was easy to leave my car and easy to pick it up on time. The staff were also very pleasant.

I have been a customer of mottest in Farnham for about 3 years. They have brilliant customer service, reasonable prices and too date always quickly fixed my car. As a bonus they fitted my car in for a mot over the weekend when I realised I'd missed my mot by 3 months!

I discovered my car needed a new MOT last night and with today being a Bank Holiday Sunday was not optimistic. However, I found Motest on the Internet, called them this morning and they fitted me in at 1pm. I arrived early and they took my car in before the time booked. I was on the road within an hour, so impressed! They even changed the tv in the waiting to enable me to watch the Grand Prix. Mr Bott was a fellow Chelsea fan and sports nut, this was a bonus. Highly recommend this honest garage with friendly hard working mechanics

I've user MoTest for quite a few MOT tests, with different vehicles, over the years. As a professionally trained vehicle engineer, I trust MoTest's Reading branch for service and cost, whereas I won't use certain other national garage chains for similar work and MOT's.
