I was interested in the price of motor homes for a possible touring break with my husband, I found the website easy to use and navigate it was detailed and informative and the quotation process was quick and efficient. We haven’t decided yet on dates so haven’t booked but would do so when we have made up our minds.

Although I eventually didnt book the motor home,(we had extra people join so had to book a hotel) I found their customer service exemplary. They couldnt have been more helpful.

Quick and efficient booking process with competitive prices and wide range and pick up locations available.
Have read differing comments regarding the returning of deposit but cannot comment on that until hire period is complete.
Hence 4 stars and not 5.
So far so good.

Easy to use and very responsive with emails

The site is really easy to use with a straight forward selection of what you would like and plenty of vehicles to choose from. Will use again and would recommend.

Used website for a last minute get away; easy site to use guick quote, and great follow up to re arrange dates and size of van would use agaian.

I have only used the web site to look to book a motor home in October and found the site easy enough to use and very informative, However last year I did book a Motor home in September and found the service was not so helpful once you had paid your money. Several details had to be changed and questions very slow and poorly answered. But the Motor Home was fine if tired and pick up and drop off good

We've been looking at hiring a motor-home for 5 days with a view to possibly purchasing one. It was so easy to book on Motorholme's website and we had emails from the company confirming our booking instantly. There was the opportunity to ring and discuss in more detail the specs of the motor-homes and to plan our trip in greater detail. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and they also have some very good Flash Sales of used motorhomes which are very competitively priced.

Disappointing quality and outrages terms for reclaiming your deposit.

I rented a Motorhome with Motorholme in February 2018 from their Edinburgh depot.

Immediately I had to pay a full deposit in case of damages next to the reservation fee of €1200.
When picking up the MH it appeared that it was not in Edinburgh but in Kelty, a 30 minute and €50,= cab fare away.

The motorhome had a lot of issues, tables were dented sleeping compartments incomplete. Locks broken and replaced by exterior locks. Lock for the propane compartment replaced by a very tiny padlock.
The fuse kept blowing when on 220V.
Television did not work
I could go on and on.

We had a great tour of Scotland but I was really disappointed by the quality of the Campervan for which we paid premium price.

Additionally after a month we still have not received our deposit back.

While the motorhome was a little tired (the kitchen draws slid out when we went round corners so we had to take them out when we drove and the toilet door handle as improvised with a screw) we got a large one rather than the medium we'd ordered at no extra cost due to availability. The team at the handover point were good, although we had to pay £50 to return the van on a Sunday.

We ordered the bedding & towels pack, which at 10pm on our first night we found was not included, causing much disruption (including an unsuccessful late night trip to the supermarket that only resulted in a scratch to the van) and cost (we had to go and buy bedding and towels the next day). Despite an email to the company and a call to the handover team we got no response until we picked the issue up on our return. The initial response was poor (they'd reimburse the money paid for the bedding & towel pack but not what we'd spent on replacements) but following a written letter to the owner (their complaints procedure) we were reimbursed the money we'd spent on bedding and towels. A reasonable amount was deducted from our deposit for the scratch (we feared that a silly amount would be deducted) and our deposit was returned promptly after the 28 day period.

So the van was good but a little tired and our bedding pack wasn't included, and after initial concern the customer service redeemed Motorholme. Would use again.

i hired a motorhome only to have my holiday curtailed by a day due to an accident with the van that i was due to collect. i was ibitially told that i would get a £50 refund by a very arrogant customer service advisor. i complained to a manager who said that she would provide £175 refund. i had to battle to get this as apparently an irrate customer is not allowed to voice their opinion of rhe arrogant staff member. the motor home provided was very poor and very tired. the table was broken and fell on my daughter whilst we were driving. i listed 11 issues with the van and have not received any response. i have also chased them for rhe return of the security deposit which has not been return 1 month after the van. This company, which trades under 4 different names are simply a joke, staffed by kids who have no idea of customer service. my advice is to look elsewhere

Ask yourself the question- why do all the positive reviews only refer to the booking procedure?? Find yourself a positive review from a customer who has booked a motor home and received their deposit back without additional charges.
Ask yourself why this company has changed their name four times.
Please do your own due diligence if you want to save yourself a world full of pain. Start with looking up their former name-‘unbeatable hire’

Thinking about a motorhome holiday. Got an instant quote. This was followed up by genuine e mails regarding the booking. I will definitely be booking and have no hesitation in recommending this company. A refreshing caring change!

I asked for a quote for a silver medium size van for 7 days in October the quote came back very quickly with £449.00 which I thought was a good price for what you got. I hadn’t confirmed if I wanted to go ahead with the offer and received a email letting me know that the offer was still available but the motor homes were going quick I then received another email a couple of weeks later keeping me informed of how things are with relation to the offer and vans available. I still have not confirmed as I need to confirm dates with others but as I have had updates and information throughout my whole process I will be booking as soon as I know when we can all go

Visited the website for a quote for my parents who were looking to hire a motorhome for a trip to Berlin for the Christmas markets and also a starter trip before a European trip. I found the website very helpful and informative and likes the additional information regarding the size of the vehicles, as a beginner it's quite daunting the thought of some of the bigger vehicles.
I also liked the add on packs and thought they were informative and value for money, very handy when the plan is to take it overseas.
I didn't actually book on the day but no doubt I will be back on the site soon for another look.
