Motoroads runs a deceptive motorcycle rental operation. They advertise motorcycle rentals at the airport in Geneva, but in reality the rental location is somewhere in France, and they charge you a USD $150 "delivery fee" which is actually a 40 minute taxi ride to an industrial park ($75 each way). Imagine flying all night from the USA exhausted, expecting to pick up a bike at GVA and ride east to your accommodation in Leysin, Switzerland, but learn at the airport that you have to take a taxi 40 mlnutes in the opposite direction, to an area you are not familiar with, just to get the bike! Then you have to figure out where you are in France! Renters beware .... THERE ARE NO MOTORCYCLES FOR RENT AT GVA! What a bunch of liars Motoroads are.

Cyprus Bike Hire.
I hired a Honda CB500X bike in Cyprus for 3 days. It was virtually brand new and so in excellent condition. It was delivered to the villa that we were staying at on time. Courteous prompt service. What's not to like?

Tried to hire two motorbikes in Bodrum Turkey while in the UK. They took my deposit and said they would send a voucher with all details to pick up , and of coarse you have the google map on their site. They just kept sending the logo and telling me there was a voucher attached, but it was not .I also asked them 3 times to send an address for pick up to my normal e mail we were using , they never did until it was too late to pick the bikes up and then suddenly the voucher and a way of opening it appeared ,about 7 days too late .I used the map i had printed and tried with local help ,to find the hire shop, but they said it was a con and it was nowhere in the area indicated on the motoroads google map thats for sure. and the number to ring was not from Turkey and i could not ring it on my phone .They then refunded nearly half the money , so it was not a large amount, im left wondering if this is not an clever trick to get £30-£40 off everyone and make them think its their fault . Ask them these questions before you hire,( 1) where is the full pick up address and check the the address and number , the arrows on the google map are random if you enlarge them and are not real addresses in this case.. (2) when are they are going to send the voucher, no reason to have it before hand . (3) why do they not used credit cards? . i will always see the shop first in future to make sure its real

This is the first time I've used this company to hire bikes abroad and it certainly won't be the last.

Good range of bikes available, all well maintained, and great customer service.

Booked a bike wasnt ready and no bike available. Never used these guys. They dimply are middle men for local rental companys. Go direct to locals and.

Wir waren einmal mehr vom 15.08.- 05.09.2022 in Bulgarien und haben zum vierten mal bei Moto Roads den Wagen gemietet. Es hat, wie immer, hervorragen funktioniert, das Auto (ein neuerer Renault Captur) wurde uns am Flughafen übergeben, Abgabe war dann am 05.09. um 06:10! auch am Flughafen direkt vor dem Eingang, zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit, wir werden auch in Zukunft nur bei Moto Roads buchen, übrigens zu einem sehr guten Preis, Danke!
We were once again in Bulgaria from 15.08.- 05.09.2022 and rented a car from Moto Roads for the fourth time. It worked, as always, excellent, the car (a newer Renault Captur) was handed over to us at the airport, delivery was then on 05.09. at 06:10! also at the airport directly in front of the entrance, to our complete satisfaction, we will also book in the future only with Moto Roads, by the way at a very good price, thank you!

We used Motoroads for a cross country transfer ,travelling with children I wasn't sure what to expect and have prepared myself for a long bit of travelling but using Motoroads exceeded my expectation. The customer service has been great from the start of the booking, the driver was extremely pleasant and made our journey experience smooth and relaxed.I will definitely be using Motoroads in the near future as it will be saving us so much hassle trying to travel around with family and having no own transport while on holiday.Thank you Motoroads Team.

It was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. First, their website let me book a scooter for the selected time, and money was taken. out.
Two days later I get an email:”Hello,
I am sorry we can not confirm this booking” - No information on whether the payment will be returned, if there are other options.
“I am sorry we have many accidents and we are short of scooters”

This company's level of care is disgusting. After arguing with their customer service agent, I got what their last email was:

“Well,....
we said several times we are sorry and that we, apologize........ already have processed the refund for you..... But not enough for you.... and continue to treathen us with bad reviews.
May be it is time stop screaming like girl when she doesn't get what she wanted and be a man and grow up a little bit.
Life is not perfect, we are not perfect, neither you are perfect....

Generally, way too overpriced. I just finished a 2.5 day rental in Antalya, Turkey. First of all the address provided was the wrong one. It was about 500 meters off. Secondly, your site offered out of hours pickup which never happened. Also, the actual scooter was so old and broken (close to 40.000 miles is way too much for 40 euros a day). And lastly the helmet provided was just disgusting. Smelled bad, looked bad and when I requested a replacement it was even worse than the first one. The guy responsible in the rental store was very pleasant and helpful though. Its just that he had nothing which was clean. Very bad service for the price. But Antalya is just lovely that's why it's not 1 star and its 2. Peace ❤️

I have been skiing in Bansko for many years and have used so many companies for our transfer from Sofia airport to Bansko. Since using Motoroads a few years ago I would never use any other company again. They are always reliable and on time. So efficient. Their vehicles are in perfect condition and the drivers are polite and courteous. I have recommended them to all my friends.

Absolutely excellent service! The only thing I recommend is to get new car seats. The one we had wasn't safe at all

Needed to arrange a complicated set of transfers for c.30 people to/from Bansko and Sofia. Flawless - great comms, nice drivers, smart vehicles, and always punctual. Very impressed and will 100% use again for our next ski trip

The service was at a high level. We've used Motoroads for the past 14 years when renting a vehicle in Bulgaria and they've always provided a reasonable price, vehicle type, and ease of booking. The team is always smiling, they are flexible and punctual, while the vehicles are always in great condition. We will continue to use the company's services in the future.

I came across Motoroads in 2016 and since then have hired cars from them 9 times.
The cars are well maintained, prices are good and the service is excellent. All staff are extremely helpful.

Once the almost brand new car I had rented was scratched at a parking site by another driver, this was handled efficiently and fully covered by the insurance. In the summer of 2021 I tried to book a large car for August quite late and it turned out that all such cars had been booked. Emma promised to find us a suitable car and managed to do so within a day. Then two days before the start of the rental we were upgraded to a Toyota Land Cruiser for free.
Krassimir who delivered the car to our address and then picked it up at the end of the rental was happy to come back since we had forgotten something.

All in all, terrific service. Highly recommended.

I rented from a car from them two times. They were professional, car delivery was on time, everything was well documented, well explained and reviewed prior to renting and hassle free when giving the car back. Kinda what a rental car company should be. No complaints from me.

Advertised hugely that they rent cars for cross border use. Yeah right. Not.
- No answer to first email
- Answer to second email was very short and pretty rude
- Not doing what is advertised huge on the site (cross border rental)

This is a great company to deal with, I have hired cars from them in Sofia, Bulgaria on many occassions
The biggest fear you can have is that no one is there when you land, the very friendly staff of Motoroads is always there, always punctual, they provide a great service, and I personally have never had one problem with any car hired, they are my go to hire company in Bulgaria

We rented a car at Motoroads, which was delivered at the airport.
Because we changed our plans, I asked if they could pick it up at our hotel and they agreed, which saved me time and trouble.
Very good experience with friendly and helpful people.
Will rent again there next time
