Wanted to sell my camera, at first I tried adorama, they gave me an insulting super lowball quote! So I went to MPB, they provided more reasonable quote (still not to what I expected) which is 50% more!!

The process was easy, MPB provided FedEx sticker so shipping is free. Once they received it and inspected the camera, they increased the quote! Not much, but it’s a wonderful surprise which I appreciate. After I accepted new quote, provided my bank info, I received the money in two days. The whole transaction was smooth and joyful. Will definitely recommend MPB to my friends.

Superb equipment, as described, but I sadly couldn’t manage the technology. The returns process was smooth, fast and without problems.

We were given more than the original quote once their experts had evaluated our camera. Fantastic service.

i buy used stuff and every Singler time it works perfectly and everything arrives in the condition that i bought it and works just fine.

I had MPB evaluate my Leica Q2 and accessories , some extra compared to what in the normal Leica box the camera comes with (a beautiful black leather case, a strap, a protective neutral filter). I qualified its condition as new and I sent in multiple photos to support my case. Fearful that they would put me through the trouble of sending them the material and having the estimate revised (downwards, of course, as they would/could do), I also told the MPB agent that I was willing to do a video or take closer/better pictures of the material, but he told me that the information that I had provided was enough to make it rather unlikely there would be any change. 4 days later, as they received the material, exactly as I feared, they came back with a valuation 170 euros below the original one. After some effort to get someone from their team to explain to me why, I got sent (through their online chat) a few photos that show extremely minimal "scratches" (between quotes as one truly needs a major magnifying lens to see them; I don't want to imagine they created them...) and with no indications they actually belonged to my camera (of which I have the serial number and documents with me). The technicians at MPB did such a thorough review (no, they didn't!) that, in their estimate, they never acknowledged or accounted for the presence of a neutral filter on top of the lens so to protect it.
Needless to say, feeling that they took advantage of my good faith, not to mention the value of the material that I sent to them, I asked them to return to me all of the material that I sent to them. And it'd better be all of it and in the excellent conditions it was when I sent it to them, something that I coul prove to a court (should that be needed) given the numerous closeup photos that I took of the camera, the accessories and the box in which I sent them.
Furthermore, MPB doesn't make the restitution process quick and easy either, as one has to catch one of their agents to get that started (whereas the "accept" their offer button is there immediate for you to click on!).
So, a major waste of time considering that there are indeed alternative ways to MPB for one to sell their photographic material, especially when of such high quality and value. Stay away from MPB and save yourself some really unnecessary frustration if not even financial damage.

Sent camera goods in to sell and they paid me more than quoted. (£89 more) What great service and thanks for all your help

MPB usually provide a brilliant service and it’s why I’ve used them for so long. I sold a camera and lens combo to them recently and they upgraded the quote value once they had inspected the gear. They didn’t have to do that (not the first time either) and I’m certain other companies out there wouldn’t be as honest but they (MPB) trade with integrity, which is such a valuable quality for customers. I would always recommend MPB for buying or selling.

A great way to sell camera equipment with a first class company. The price offered was very fair and very competitive. It beats the hassle and uncertainty of selling on an auction site.

I recently returned an item, but I mistakenly sent the wrong lens to them. The lens I sent back was much more valuable, and I was panicked. I reached out to support and they were EXTREMELY helpful in identifying the package, finding the lens, and getting it back to me safely. The even paid for the shipping. Straightforward and honest. I sent 2 DSLR's and 3 lenses to sell. One of the lenses I sent was different than what I had stated. They quickly reached out to me, adjusted the price, and it was settled easily. They've earned my trust.

I thoroughly researched the marketplace for buying and selling used camera gear. I found MPB to be the most attractive from the point of view of value and customer service responsiveness.
