I placed my order sometime after midnight. By 0900 oclock next morning I got a message that my order status has been "changed" ... it was SHIPPED!!!!
This is the first time it happent to me in all these years of online shopping.

About the pen.... as expected!! A fine italic writing instrument for everyday use. Almost perfect (clip stiffness is the only problem).

Based on the above, I would recomend this shop to everyone.

I bought a pen as a gift, and when there was a slight problem with the cartridge the replacement cartridge arrived, free of charge, the next day. Nothing is too much trouble for this company, they are helpful, courteous and incredibly customer focussed. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was looking for a pocket watch for my husband's forthcoming 50th birthday and even though I am a regular on-line shopper, I was a little reticent about sourcing such a gift without seeing it. I came across P J Ford & Associates and they offered a fantastic range of watches, many of real distinction and quality. Their website offers a great range with various options for engraving and extras. I opted for the Woodford Full Hunter HH1051 (Double Hunter Mechanical in Gold Plate with Securing Ring Albert chain) and chose to have the gift box and watch engraved. The customer service I received was excellent from the minute I purchased the gift to day it was delivered. I was thrilled with the watch and engraving and for a reasonable price, the quality was excellent. I highly rate this company to any prospective customer - they go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your order. Highly recommended!

My Parson's Essential is now my favourite pen. It writes so smoothly! I am amazed at the price and the quality of this pen. I will definitely be ordering more pens from this company.

I purchase alot of Pens and peripherals...alot. The Essentials Pen that I purchased is one of the smoothest pens and best value of any pen that I own. Prior to purchase I had questions and they were answered promptly and comprehensively...my Pen shipped VERY promptly and I had it in the US in 1 week..

I have purchased several fountain pens from Mr. Pen over the past few years. Since then I have come to only write with italic nibs. Mr. Pen offers the widest variety of high quality nibs in the world. Ordering pens online is a breeze. On my most recent purchase I needed clarification regarding some of the specs. I received an email response from P.J. Ford & Associates within minutes. I was also surprised by how quickly the order was sent out and received to my U.S. address. My son uses an italic pen which he dropped and chipped the nib during his exams. I called PJ Ford who were so helpful, taking all details over the phone and posting a new nib that day. Subsequently I've ordered a spare pen which also arrived the next day!

I already bought the Parssons Essential quite a while ago and was impressed by the high quality workmanship and the smooth writing of the pen. Now I ordered the Captains Commission pen with medium non italic nib. This one writes perfectly balanced not too wet and not too dry and I am very much impressed by the high quality finish and the classy look. Well done Mr. Pen!

This is a gift to my Husband for our 45th Wedding anniversary on 14th June. So, as of now, he hasn't been given it and will receive it when we are at the Italian Lakes on holiday.

I am very pleased with the look of the pen and feel sure he will like it too. He collects fountain pens and has around 60-80 of varying age, so another to his collection.

I received a Parson's Essential (fine italic nib) from my wife as part of a 50th birthday present. It is a quality product, very solidly made and nice to look at and hold. Shipped with no problem at all to Australia. The engraving was a wonderful personal touch. I had a small issue with weak ink flow after writing more than a couple of pages at a stretch, so I asked Mr Pen. I received an answer within 5 minutes! (draw in ink slowly and express the ink while the nib is still immersed to get rid of any bubbles in the converter - seems to have worked). Nice service, excellent smooth writing instrument. I'm very pleased.

I looked for quite some time to find a suitable italic fountain pen and Mr Pen had a massive choice. I was able to find a lovely one at a reasonable price. Writing is now such a pleasure.

Excellent communication from P.J. Ford, with very prompt response to emails. The seller shipped quickly and the pen took only a week to reach New Zealand. I'm impressed with their nib-exchange policy; nibs/sections (for the Italix pens, at least) can be sent back within thirty days of purchase, inked or otherwise, for exchange. P.J. Ford paid the cost to ship the new nib from the UK to NZ. This seems generous, given that no reason for exchange is required. Good build quality on the pen itself, and a pleasure to use. I highly recommend this seller and would gladly shop with them again.

[edit] Just got the exchanged section in the mail. Mr. Pen packaged it very nicely, in a high quality box (this is kind because I sent the section in a mint tin...) AND sent a new converter, which was a pleasant surprise seeing as I didn't send the one that came with the original pen back. Buy here with confidence - I know I will again!

I used to have a MrPen Parsons Essential before that got totally destroyed in an accident. I've been looking at the Captains Commission Pen and reviewed it and others on SBRE BROWN's channel on YouTube. Once I saw it on there I was buying one. MrPen's Pens are some of the best you can find especially for the price. I inked mine up using DIAMINE Radiant Blue that MrPen supplies and I bought a DIAMINE Turquoise too for another pen in my collection.
The inks are absolutely perfect and I will use it all the time.
B U T... if you want to buy a prestige pen for yourself or a loved on LOOK NO FURTHER than MrPen.

When I, for the first time write with an unknown fountain pen, one can, on rare occasions, feel as if one had arrived home. The Churchman's Prescriptor's is such a pen. For me. Thank you.

I fell on Mr. Pen's website while looking for kind of different nibs around the web. I was so intrigued that I decided blindly and confidently to buy a couple of pens. Upon reception I found that esthetically they were even more beautiful. Their weight was perfect for me. But the best still had to come, that is writing. Smooth, regular flow, pleasant sensation. These pens are definitely worth using on a daily basis, especially the one with the italic fine nib. No skipping, no scratching. Excellent pens and also ideal for gift.
