All our local and long distance work is quoted on a fixed price quote, we would recommend this and we would send an estimator to your premises to carry out a free, no obligation assessment and quotation. If you require, we are able to provide cartons, transit robes, bubble wrap, tape and packing paper for your removal. All removal prices quoted or charged are plus VAT. Unless otherwise stated the price we quote on an hourly basis or as a fixed price provides the customer with a vehicle and a two man crew. If you feel that you would like to use extra men on your move we can arrange this for you. Likewise, if we feel your request demands more manpower we shall quote accordingly.

Amazing service
The staff were amazing and worked so hard and none stop to get our house moved. We had a lot of possessions and they just got on and were all so polite and helpful and took great care with everything

Mr Shifter Removals…
Matthew and Ray at Mr Shifter Removals dealt with everything brilliantly with organising my parents move from Middlesbrough to Easington near Hull. The delivery guys (both Garys) were also outstanding, very professional and courteous. I would 100% recommend this company looking to move anything, anywhere at a very competitive price. Thanks to all at Mr Shifter.

These guys were fantastic
These guys were fantastic! Half the price of our local (previously used) removal company. Courteous, respectful and efficient. We used their packaging service aswell, which too the stress completely out of the move. Couldn’t recommend them enough!!

Mr.Shifter Removals.
Mr.Shifter Removals attended my home and carefully packed the majority of my personal possessions into boxes etc.and the following day they arrived and loaded their vehicle. They then transported the goods to my new home and offloaded them. This was done efficiently and carefully at the agreed time.I would recommend them especially for a full move.

Mr Shifter have been very communicative since my move. They messed up with dates but compensated by not charging for unforseen storage. Their removal and unpacking crewe were excellent, their job assessors and administrators need a kick up the arse.

Not a member of British Association of Removers, falsely advertising that they are registered with the Furniture Ombudsman, so there is no Independant dispute resolution regarding complaints

We’re sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. However, we would like to clarify a few points regarding your concerns.
At no point have we advertised that we are members of the British Association of Removers (BAR). We are, however, registered with the Association of Independent Movers (AIM), as clearly stated on our website.
Regarding the handling of your picture frames, it was your responsibility to ensure that all goods were correctly packed and prepared for transport prior to our crew’s arrival (as detailed in both our terms and conditions, and those used by the BAR).
As no steps had been taken to pack these items, our team did their best to protect them by carefully wrapping them in our furniture blankets to minimize any potential risk.
All of this information was also confirmed to be true when we forwarded this claim onto our insurance provider. As detailed in the breakdown they provided you.

The guys were excellent from start to finish for us. Arrived around 8am, packed the lorry like a game of tetris. Really helpful with all the little bits we had left to pack up, and very cautious with our delicates. Arrived at the new property and they double checked where every box needed to go and promptly unloaded for us. Highly recommend.
