12 days since I placed my order

12 days since I placed my order. Very quick to take the funds and you receive an immediate promising response on the day leaving you thinking your item is on its way. But it’s not, thereafter it goes very quiet. I’ve only spent £20 on this occasion, but would think twice in future before placing any further orders. Updates are easy to send and should be a matter of course.

Spare parts a problem for them.

Spare parts a problem for them.
Like many other reviews on this company, they have let themselves down with my order for Bosch spares.
It's been over a month late not (from original delivery date). I only get an update when I chase them.
Guys, be honest, if you're not interested in selling spares don't offer them for sale.

Avoid this company. They will waste your time and money.
Store manager doesn't care at all.

Placed an order with them, been waiting for few days, no notification about my order, contacted them via email and they told me I will receive my order in 7-10 days, passed 14 days no order show up, contacted then again today and they told me I will receive my order soon. Decided to contact directly the store manager to understand what is soon, (1 week, 1month, 1year?), she told they have only one pair of items in stock and they will send to us, after few moment after the phone call with the store manger received an email as my order has been cancelled.

Excellent service ,would highly…

Excellent service ,would highly recommend this company.
Bought some brushes for my router but had missed out I needed x2(only ordered x1) they contacted me promptly to advise me and I adjusted order .
The items arrived promptly.
Makes a change to get good service these days and will definitely keep them on my favourites.

Never ending delay

8 weeks since placing my order and still no sign of it. Before placing the order, I rang them and was told the item was in stock. One hour later I was called to say the item was not in stock and I had to wait about a week. I have been ringing them every other day and keep being told the order will be with me before the end of the week. Worst still, I was told my tool had arrived (7 weeks since the order!) and was being sent to me but the latest update is they still do not have my tool. The worst online shopping experience without a doubt, will never ever use them again.

Brilliant service and sensible carriage cost.

My second purchase to repair a £60 Makita sander. On this occasion I ordered at 3.00pm and the parts turned up the following morning by Royal Mail! (Not a great fan as they’re not as driven as most couriers). Anyway, Miles charge a very reasonable delivery charge (£4 I think), and I hate firms that charge way too much, when they need to cover their cost - after all their trying to secure more internet business.

I wasn’t even expecting to get parts for such a cheap sander. Well impressed and would highly recommend using this company. Thanks. Mike

Excellent customer service

I was seeking a hard to find part that is no longer in production. I called Miles Tools to check ifvthey had any. One was showing in stock but it was not in its designated bin. The staff conducted a search and called me back 24 hours later when they found it. Most companies do not call back. The customer service was excellent. The range of products stocked is impressive. I would use Miles Tools again.

Woeful

Ordered an electric tool on-line along with several accessories which doubled the value. After none of the usual on-line confirmation emails that items had been sent wanted to ring but website advised to submit a written enquiry with no telephone number provided. Strange but wrote asking to cancel item if not going to be delivered after 6 days. Website states items "can" take up to 7 working days so that was my mistake for not checking before ordering. What is not is no response to that query 4 days later. When found a number & rang was advised they needed to speak to a colleague to check on my order & would ring me back & never did. Regrettably this is a throw back to the dark ages of on-line ordering with all aspects of customer service & attention are woefully absent.
