THEY DO NOT SEND OUT ANY PRODUCTS TO YOU AND THEN THEY DO NOT REFUND YOU.

I wish I had seen these other reviews before placing my order with them.

I hate to leave this negative review but I feel like I need to warn people to avoid this retailer. I used muddy paws some years ago and was really happy but my recent experience will mean that j never use them again. I ordered three items they duplicated my order and charged me twice. Not a problem I called and they were more than helpful yes we will refund you unfortunately it took me three weeks and lots of phone calls after my intial call to get my refund. I was told there was a slight delay with some of my order, it took me over a month to get two of my items and after waiting over two months I decided to cancel my last item Which again I was told would be refunded and I had to have twice to get my refund. The customer service is dreadful the wait time is excessive I finally ordered my item from eBay and it was shipped from Italy in less time to me. I like to support local trade but muddy paws is a shambles and I am totally disappointed with their lack of customer service.

I too ordered a dog bed back in august and was told there was a problem with stock even tho when i ordered it stated the bed was in stock. I messaged Tanya a few times to see where the bed was to be told to"bear with us" it will be on its way soon. Fast forward to the end of November when i cancelled the order and was told the refund could take up to 5 days....i still haven't received the refund and have emailed Tanya with no reply. This company just seen to fob you off for as long as they can "avoid" our furry friends deserve better im pleased to say my pooch has a lovely bed now from a reliable company.

This is the first review (of anything) that I have written but my experience with Muddy Paws has prompted me to warn others. I ordered an Earthbound dog bed and was told to expect delivery within four weeks. I accepted that and waited to hear from Muddy Paws. Four weeks passed and nothing. I called them and was told it would take another week. One week later, I called again and was told it would now be another four weeks! At that point, I cancelled the order and requested a refund. I was told I would receive the refund within five days. That was two weeks ago and I have yet to receive the refund. I’ve sent two emails chasing the refund and have not received any response. It’s now almost two months since the ordered was placed. The website may look slick and the staff polite and well spoken, but trust me, these guys are crooks. AVOID!

As with previous reviewers, I ordered a cat flap and the amount was debited immediately, item was supposed to arrive in 2 - 5 days. When this didn't happen I contacted them and they said it was out of stock and should be in the following week, and would be posted straight out. Again this did not happen, but they again did not let me know what was happening.When they tried to fob me off again I decided to cancel the order and was told this would take 3 - 5 days. The credit never materialised so I have now put the matter into the hands of my bank. Very disappointed and annoyed that I did not check the reviews before ordering. Incidentally, I ordered a similar item from Amazon and it arrived the next day and was considerably cheaper too !

Absolute disgrace! Happy to take my money for order they stated on website were ‘in stock’ but weren’t. Waited and waited! Heard nothing from the company, no update or goods. Contacted them they said they were awaiting stock. Fobbed me off three times in total. Now finding myself 4 months later still no order and all the prompting from my end not theirs. Such a disgraceful attitude to have and won’t be ordering from them again.

After 10 days opened dispute with PayPal
Got refund

How are they still in business?

As per the common experience of other reviewers, I ordered a product that they could not supply. Finally, I cancelled the order after waiting 6 weeks for it to turn up. I have now been waiting 4 weeks for a credit card refund (14 days is their legal obligation). My next step will be the small claims route (and Trading Standards). Don't use them, ever!

Please please please do not touch this sham company with a barge pole like most of the reviews on here no goods turned up the same email saying will be delivered in ten days asked for refund told 5 days sent them email saying if my money wasnt refunded by the 8th of december they would be reported for fraud and still no refund so have now been reported to my bank

My story is same as many others.
I ordered two items, both listed as in stock, turned out over a month delivery. No proactive communication from Muddy Paws. I cancelled the order and was told that the money would be refunded.
Many phone calls, mails and refund promises over the following weeks. Twelve weeks later after online county court proceedings, I have received a refund. I warned them several times that I would go the County Court route and now they have had to pay over twice as much as they needed to.
On the plus side, the staff and owner are very pleasant to deal with, just don’t believe a word they say.

I don’t know what is going on with the reviews, just wish Muddy Paws would put the same effort into refunding their customers.

Absolutely terrible service. They did not deliver the goods I ordered, they claimed they had problems with their deliveries twice. Over two months later I am still trying to get a refund, despite them saying they would give me a refund on the 16th of November (within 5 days). They seem to be a scam company.

Muddypaws just don't keep you informed - they've had my money for more than 2 months and the items still have not arrived. My last email with them said there would be a 3 week delay and this was in late Sept. You have to chase them all the time. I seriously doubt I will use again.

I had to return a dog coat in February and was given a credit note. Had to phone and email several times in order to know how to spend this 'credit' and they were surprised that I had not had money returned.
Bought a coat and dog bowl on September 27. Coat arrived about 2 weeks later.
I have sent 7 emails re second part of order and am disappointed with the lack of communication. When a company is having problems with their stock delivery, I expect to be kept informed not left guessing and waiting.
My order arrived yesterday, December 5th! 10 weeks later with no apology. I do not think this is good customer service in any respect.
I meet a lot of dog walkers and will not be recommending this site to any of them.

No communication my order just Hasn’t arrived. When I chased I get told they hope to get it on on another 10 or 15 days. They need to be up front with stock levels and delivery times

Friendly family run Company. I have bought from them on several
occasions for our three dogs and always been pleased with the service, speed of delivery and products received. Thank you Muddypaws, I will be back for more!

The dog beds I bought for my two chocolate Labradors arrived on time and are great quality. The girls love them (as do our visiting) four legged friends!
I would not hesitate to recommend Muddy Paws!

I bought three dog coats and followed the helpful sizing guide. They arrived as promised and I was very pleased with the style and the quality. I thought the prices were very reasonable and would not hesitate to order further goods from them.

Disgraceful customer service.
I ordered a dog cage on the 17th October - they took the payment but I never received the item. When I rang to tell them I was told the item was out of stock so I requested a refund. It is now the 3rd of December and I have still not received my money and they do not respond to any e-mails now. I have now taken them to court. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
