Would give a zero rating were it possible

As experienced by other customers and reviewers, I ordered a replacement dog bed before Christmas 2017. It never arrived. I was advised on following up the missing order in the New Year, after leaving and e mailing numerous messages, that stock was not expected until late February.

I cancelled my order and requested a full refund, which has never materialised. Phone calls and phone messages are not responded to. I have been constantly fobbed off, by e mail, and latterly (some weeks ago) and apparently, the respondee to my e mail has referred this matter for the attention of ‘management’.

Based on my personal experience, I would never again use nor recommend this company. As another reviewer has written, customers are best advised to be aware. I have informed the Citizens Advice Bureau, the body now responsible for reporting such matters to Trading Standards. In their (CAB) language, I was advised that the company (Muddy Paws) had effectively broken its contract with the customer for unreasonable non delivery. I also notified my Bank, as my order was placed with a credit card. What an unhappy situation.

Buyer beware

I have ordered on a number of occasions during several years from Muddy Paws and have always receive a perfectly satisfactory service.
However, and like some others in the same time period, I ordered items in January which were marked as being in stock, only for them not to arrive. After three emails, I was eventually told that the goods had not been in stock but that dispatch would be expected mid-February. No dispatch notice has been sent and I have had no answer to multiple emails and phone calls, including my requests for a refund. I can only conclude that something has gone very wrong in the running of this company and would advise against any purchase from this website.

Poor Customer Service, would not order again

Placed an order for a Dog coat on 30/01/2018. The website stated 3-5 Working days for delivery. After 7 working days still had not received the item so called to chase it up to be advised the colour I had ordered was no longer in stock. I eventually received the coat in a different colour about a week later.

Found my Dog needed the next size down so returned the item requesting an exchange via tracked next day delivery, this was on 22/02/2018 well within the timescale from the order being posted. I have not received my exchange or any communication regarding it from Muddy Paws. Personally think they are slow and the Customer Service very poor. Think they have a cheek charging delivery when my own item and many other customers never arrive within the estimated time scale.

Still no refund for product I never received.Muddy Paws are a scam!

They dont deserve 1 star!
Placed order for item showing in stock on their website 20.1.18. Delivery advised 2-3 days . Muddy Paws took the money from my account on 22.1.18.. I contacted Muddy Paws to chase my order after 10 days, to be advised they were having issues with stock of this item and it would be with me in 10 days.
After 10 days, still no sign of the item.
I chased them again and asked them to cancel the order and issue a refund.
They cancelled my order and advised refund would be in my account in a few days.
3 weeks later and they have still not refunded me and they are ignoring my emails and calls.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A SCAM!!
I am now raising a dispute with my bank and have logged this with Watch Dog. Apparently this is a regular occurrence with Muddy Paws and they are on their radar!

Placed order that was in stock on their website only to be told that it was not in stock after they had taken my money and we had contacted them to find this out, cancelled order 3 weeks ago still no refund!!! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

Terrible company to deal with

Terrible company to deal with.

Placed my order on the 27th December and items stated as in stock with a 3-5 day delivery. When they hadn’t arrived a couple of weeks later (with no correspondence from Muddy Paws) I emailed them and was advised the order was due at the end of February. Stupidly I accepted this and decided to wait for the items.

Again after no further correspondence from them I emailed to check progress, only to be told it had now been delayed to April. 4 months after my initial order!!!

Furthermore, the items are still showing as ‘in stock’ on their site. They are happily continuing to take people’s money for products it would appear they have no intention of ever sending out.

Very clearly someone up to no good here if you ask me.....BUYER BEWARE

TERRIBLE SERVICE

TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Ordered a dog bed and other products on the 8th of January and after the delivery did not turn up I requested a cancellation which is showing on my account but still no refund. Will keep chasing for it! I've not recieved any email updates and the 'live chat' is always showing as "We are sorry, but there are no chat operators available at the moment. Please leave us a message using the form below" I will never use this company again and just hope I get my refund!

I just wish I had read this before . Ordered a dog bed in Nov which dod not arrive so I cancelled my order.
They claim they are going to refund me but have not. They don't answer phone or reply.

We have reported them to credit card company.

Received a dogs bed after a few weeks…

Received a dogs bed after a few weeks and phone calls chasing it up. They were always polite and put some dog treats in with the bed. I wanted to support a small company so hopefully they work on stock and delivery issues. Good luck Muddy Paws 🐾

Do not buy from this company

My experience is as bad as most on this review site. I wish I had checked it before ordering. I ordered a dog bed on 16th December and as of 21st February I still have not received it nor the promised refund after I cancelled the order. I could go into detail but needless to say this company took my money knowing full well they didn't have the goods. They are always polite when you eventually get someone to answer the telephone but I've come to the conclusion that they just lie. I have reported it to my credit card company and filed a complaint with the Citizens Advice Consumer Service 0345 404 0506 who will pass on the details to Trading Standards.

Worst company ever

I have ordered from Muddy Paws twice and both experiences have been so unbelievably awful. I gave them the benefit of the doubt second time round but wish I hadn’t. Both times I was told initially that the item was in stock then it turned out it was out of stock (but this was never mentioned on their website). I was the one doing the continual chasing on my order and was getting told different excuses on a daily basis as to why I had not received my order. I also kept receiving emails promising my order would be with me in a ‘few days’, ‘seven days’, ‘ten days’ and after 3 months I requested a refund as I knew I would never see my item. I was told that there was a problem with their suppliers, however, I contacted the suppliers direct and they denied any issues. A very very poor ‘service’ from Muddy Paws - a strong word of advice - don’t bother placing an order with them, it’s not worth the hassle. Place an order with a reputable company instead.

Poor customer service

The product itself was great (a dog coat) but the customer service terrible. The coat took four weeks to arrive with one e mail in that time telling me what was happening. Awful not to be kept in the loop in this day of quick technology

Purchased coat for my Whippet as he…

Purchased coat for my Whippet as he feels the cold. So pleased with the coat, fleece lined and a waterproof top jacket. He loves it doesn't tremble anymore when out on our walks. The collar comes up his neck keeping out the wind. Great quality and colour so pleased chose Muddypaws. Takes longer to come than stated but don't let that put you off, it's worth waiting for.

Product fantastic very poor customer service

Product fantastic but when I bought it delivery said 3-5 days. Well after ten days I chased to be told it would be here the following week....had had no email or anything from company to tell me of delay. It didn’t arrive so I had to chase again and it has finally arrived 4 weeks after I ordered it. Customer service is very poor.
