Can’t Recommend Enough!

While the interface takes some getting used to eventually it all makes sense.

And the support is absolutely top notch.

There’s other games I wish I could make servers for (Avorion), but I refuse to try out any other company that offers it.

Good support. Stable enough. Minor issue when leaving service.

MultiPlay hosted a small game server for me during 2017 - relatively stable.
Support has been quick and helpful.

It was somewhat cumbersome to leave the service, however.
I was billed 1-2 months after terminating the server (PayPal subscription).
MultiPlay was responsive and refunded most of this money.

no hardware available for my order (UPDATE: hardware was available within 15 minutes, but I had already canceled for the reasons outlined in the full review)

I signed up for a Terraria server and after going through all the steps to set it up - including payment - I was told that the company didn't have the hardware to fulfill my request and that they'd be adding more soon. Since it was a holiday weekend, I didn't know when to expect fulfillment, so I canceled my account in disgust and ran the server myself from home.

UPDATE: (1->3 stars) Hi, Jack! Thanks for the response. If the message I had received had mentioned any expected time frame I probably would have waited for it. I canceled my order because no time frame had been mentioned and it was clear from the message that a human would need to get involved on a holiday weekend; I thought it might be days before my server landed and I wanted to play with some friends that weekend. We've finished playing Terraria for now, but I'll try Multiplay again next time I'm in the market for a game server.

We try to have machines set up automatically, but sometimes it requires a member of our team to set up the server manually. In this case, I can see that we set up your server 9 minutes after you received the email stating that we did not have capacity in the region.

I am sorry that you had this bad experience, and if you could give any suggestions on how we can improve our response messages, such as the one you initially received, this would be greatly appreciated.

Horrible service dont use this company if possible.

It was bad, the formatting for mobile was horrible and almost unusable. When i asked for help finding settings for my server the sent a link and said this should help, it didnt have anything i needed and when i said that i never got a reply. On my last week with the server it wouldnt work it would load and the my screen would just go black and again when i said something they never responded and i lost a week of the one month i payed for very upsetting. Waste of money i would never buy a server from this company again

We have a policy to not make custom configuration changes to your configs but we do try to steer you in the correct direction and the Wiki Ark links we send out are extremely helpful as they contain any and all changes to configuration you may want with explanations.

Farming simulator 2017 server crashes on daily base

I have Payed for a FS 2017 server for 5 people and it constantly crashes I wrote a ticket and the answer was that i played the game and used to many helpers THATS THE FREAKIN GAME You are telling me not to play the GAME The next thing why it crashes was that we use MODS They advertise with 750 MB capacity of mods I use 15 MB ??? The only pro thing is that they are cheap A friend of mine has a nitrado server for more then 2 months and it didnt crashed a single time 17-2-2018 i have a server with gamed! now for 2 weeks it never crashed once no problem with 50 mods no problem with maps

Poor server performance

Bought 50 player Factorio server, which ended up crashing constantly with just 2-3 players online. Long conversation with technical staff ended up going nowhere - them blaming me of actually playing the game and overloading their CPU. Only giving 2 stars as had a decent response time to tickets raised and decent if only useless conversation, them not being able to solve anything in the end. Avoid.

Sorry for the experience you have had with our services.

Unfortunately we have to impose RAM and CPU limits on servers as we are selling resource from our machines otherwise you could take up an entire machine and impact other customers and your server would end up non profitable.

We always try to find the best compromise between cost and customer experience but some games end up so big they overcome our limits.

We are looking to see if its possible to bring out double resource limits on some game servers but we need to work out the pricing on these.

Multiplay server support

I would like to thank Zak Feneck and Kevin Baker for helping me with any issues that have arised while renting a server, as well as helping randomly try and insert new code into game.ini files to help the gaming community and myself enjoy the game we love to play the way we want to play it.

Speedy responses, great advice and dedication to helping out is the greatest thing anyone can do to help people like me who run into issues while being Admin of a server/servers keeping up with the ever changing roles of players in this market is not easy at all.

So i again thank you all for the help and support..

i really want to thank Kristina Jackson it was a good support solving my problem spending his precious time and solved my issue the support team is so fast and give response to our problem and solve it
and i love to extend my server period more because i was new hosting a game server and like this kinda support love .

Not using multiplay for factorio due to issues

I originally bought this server to stop the lag caused by hosting a factorio server myself, however with only being able to use such cheap options with no room for upgrading which caused a substantial amount of lag. Other then lag alone we would find at seemingly random times the entire service would stop working, meaning we would be unable to access the control board of the server or connecting to the server at all.

Good service

Server was setup within minutes after payment. Had a issue with the control panel. Support team fixed it within 2 hours. Great service so far!

Extremely pleased

Extremely pleased. Had an issue early on with lag. They fixed it. Suprisingly fast response and repair for a messaging system. Way to go guys.
