One of the worst customer 'service' experiences. After holding on for over 30 minutes to be told to refer to their terms and conditions and nothing can be done to correct or cancel an order even though it's not even picked yet. They can cancel and order if they choose, but are unable to cancel an order at the customers request.

Great Smelling Perfume
Great Smelling Perfume! Pathetic Customer Service!
Perfume smells amazing! Great blind buy! Unfortunately, I bought this perfume from Myer as part of a promotion that included a Versace tote bag. Instead of purchasing the perfume on sale from Adore Beauty for $180, I paid $220 at Myer specifically to get the tote. When the order arrived, the tote bag was damaged. I contacted customer service immediately and was offered a $10 gift card, which was an odd response considering the issue. Eventually, I was told a replacement tote had been sent. A couple of weeks later, I checked my account only to discover the replacement order had been cancelled without any communication. I contacted customer service again and was told there was no stock available and no resolution would be offered. After that: silence. The customer service has been appalling from start to finish. Even worse, Myer is damaging premium brands by selling faulty promotional items and failing to stand behind them. At this point, the experience feels no better than shopping on Temu, except I paid department store prices expecting department store service.
TERRIBLE delivery and customer service
TERRIBLE customer service. Old address on file. Myer updated my file but REFUSED to update my address on my item out for delivery. Told me to contact the courier. Courier company told me to contact Myer! Numerous ‘help’ chats with shipping company and 2 unsuccessful deliveries to the old address despite calling courier to confirm my new address. Been waiting over 2 weeks for my delivery. Meanwhile have had a delivery, return, exchange for one item and all within 2 days from the Iconic. Very different service to Myer!
Myer Customer Care = Customer Abuse
Ordered an item online, called customer care to see why it was taking so long & the woman I spoke with cancelled my order - wasn't asked to do so. She apologised but was unable to take responsibility or figure out how to fix it, even lying and contradicting herself. Escalation showed managers were equally unable to provide customer service and only able to follow steps & scripts. Can now see why Myer is in financial free-fall.
Don’t bother with online shopping
Don’t bother with online shopping. It’s been nearly a month and nothing. You call them and they say we need to lodge and enquiry with the supplier and give up 5 to 8 business days. Absolutely useless.
External Delivery Error – Issue Resolved and Refund Issued
The issue was caused by an error on the part of the external delivery company and was not related to Myer staff. The matter has since been resolved through communication with the delivery provider, and a full refund has been issued

When your average score is 1.4 from nearly 2000 reviews it says a lot. Placed my first order with them a month ago and still waiting on a parcel & they don't have a simple way of communicating via mail. Definitely won't be shopping there again. The dress I ordered also doesn't clearly state there is no lining in the bust area, yet the picture shows it's lined. POOR.

Myer online has extremely poor customer service. When submitting my order the delivery went straight to my old address, there was no where for me to update. I called straight away and was told no changes could be made and I couldn't cancel the order. Their online system is outdated and not user friendly. There should be an address confirmation not just the address linked to your account. Extremely disappointed. Apparently I now need to wait for a dispatch and contact the courier 3 times for updated details, it would be much simpler if you could update directly with the company you order. I recently purchased a quilt via Click & Collect on Sunday evening because the website showed the item as being in stock at my selected store. However, after completing the purchase, I received an email advising that the stock actually needed to be transferred from another store and could take up to 7–10 business days.
When customers choose Click & Collect, there's generally an expectation that the item will be available within 24–48 hours, or at least a couple of days. It's now Tuesday afternoon and I've had to call both the store and customer service to try and get an update. The store couldn't see any information in their system, and customer service could only tell me that the stock was shipped from Brisbane to the Gold Coast today, with no indication of when it will actually arrive.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that the quilt is in stock at multiple nearby stores, including one only 10 minutes away. The lack of real-time stock visibility, tracking information, and estimated arrival dates creates a very poor customer experience. In 2026, it's surprising that customers still can't track a Click & Collect order or receive accurate updates without having to contact multiple people.
Compared to other retailers, where Click & Collect orders are typically fulfilled within 24–48 hours and customers receive clear tracking and delivery estimates, this process feels outdated, inefficient, and unnecessarily frustrating.
You've lost me as a customer.

Myer online is so frustrating. When buying it goes from checkout to payment without review. Turns out their system decided to process my order against an old address. No explanation as to why this was the case this time. Of course Myer does not allow cancellation or changes even minutes after the order is placed. No wonder Myer online has 1000’s of negative reviews. Looks like David Jones 1 Myer 0.
Damaged Packages
Ordered 5 things for a birthday.
1 thing arrived damage beyond repair, had to be returned in store. Next day, 2 things arrived with the security tags still on - couldn't be given for the birthday, and had to go in store AGAIN. Contacted Myer, they said there was nothing they could do and would "note to improve services".

Helping PEOPLE matters in Customer service
My recent shopping experience with Myer demonstrated to me existential crisis department store brands are facing. I recently wanted to purchase an item online to use some Myer gift cards AND a Westfield gift card. I couldn't utilise the Westfield card online as it could only be redeemed in person at a Westfield Myer store. I attended the Chatswood Myer store and explained my situation and the Myer sales attendant was completely disinterested in helping me and disengaged from any form of customer help as she wrote it off as an online purchase issue that she couldn't navigate. Because the item i wanted wasn't physical in store stock, she wiped her hands of me. I walked away frustrated and disappointed. The next week i attended the Sydney City Myer store and encountered a lovely sales person Tu Linh who upon listening properly to my situation took ownership immediately and processed my payment to facilitate an online delivery and enabled me to make payment via the gift cards and Westfield cards. Herein lies the dilemma with department store service which whilst in steady decline does itself no favours when existing in house store staff don't care enough to go the extra mile and satisfy a customer need. I ended up getting my need met, but Chatswood Myer were hopeless and dismissive of a potential sale. If department stores are trying to compete effectively EVERY store assistant needs to be customer focused and try and facilitate the needs of a customer even if it is a slightly out of the ordinary request.
