MyLife should be illegal
MyLife is a credit card rip-off scam. Its interface is inconsistent, unpredictable, and unreliable. Information, if it appears, is incorrect or outdated. They demand additional money for each report. MyLife will not refund your money if you are dissatisfied.

Mylife.com is a scam
I made the mistake of signing up for their 3-day free trial for $1.00. I understood that I would have to pay $29.95 per month if I didn't cancel within the 3-day period. I canceled it but not before they took a payment of $59.85 that I didn't agree to. I filed a complaint through Paypal and the FTC. Do not use this site.

Do not get involved in this site
Do not get involved in this site. The charges come through as InsightBridge LLC. If you want to cancel they provide a fake phone number. The number is to sell you insurance, and it is a recording, not a real person. I had to report the fraud to paypal.

SCAM CMPANY THAT WON'T RESPOND TO EMAILS.
I WANTED A ONE TIME SEARCH, AND WAS CHARGED $155.00. i SENT 4 EMAILS IMMEDIATLEY AFTER SUBSCRIBING TO CANCEL. THE CHARGE REMAINED IN 'PENDING' 3 DAYS N WHICH THEY HAD AMPLE TIME TO CANCEL, BUT POSTED IT ANYWAY. I HAVE DISPUTED IT WITH MY BANK. I THINK THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY, AND IF NOT ARE HORRIBLE. MY BANK WILL JUSTIFY MY REFUND IF MY LIFE WON'T.

The MyLife.com site has my brother…
The MyLife.com site has my brother listed as being 66 years old and lists his current address (which has most of it blocked out). The problem is that my brother passed away 30 years ago, and has never lived at that current address. And it states that he lived in two different cities in Virginia. He never lived in Virginia.
Plus lists my father as being 104 years old and born in 1920 with a current address. Problem is that my father passed away 34 years ago and his birth year was 1930. He did live at that listed current address 34 years ago.
How can MyLife state that dead people that passed away years ago are still alive? And charge people who want to get more background information?
Nobody in my family submitted that false information.

Just tell them no!
I have asked them over a dozen times to remove my profile yet it is still showing up.

I was charged for a year and for annual…
I was charged for a year and for annual renewal. I didn't mean to do that. Not paying attention was my fault. HOWEVER, I could not cancel. I called the number on the website and was sent to their email. I sent numerous emails, requesting a cancellation. There was never a response. I WAS VERY LUCKY! I paid through Paypal. I reported them, and Paypal revoked the payment and reimbursed me. THANK YOU PAYPAL! I am certain I would have to cancel my card, if I paid by credit or debit card in order to cancel. BUYER BEWARE!
Inaccurate Data
I purchased a one month membership to find out the outcome of a person’s theft felony arrest. Mylife did an alleged search and reported that there were no court records of any arrests for this person. This is untrue as this person’s arrest was well documented by the local news and media. In addition, I have news articles which I pulled up from the internet documenting this person’s arrest. This was a waste of my money and my time. I would NOT recommend this service.
They make it as hard as possible to cancel
I am currently trying to get my subscription cancelled, but there are no options to cancel your subscription through the site. It does not include publicly available information that I KNOW about people, and I'm hoping somebody gets back to me in the next three days so I am not charged anything beyond the $1 for the trial period. There is no way to change your preferred payment method through their site. It is designed to make it as difficult as possible to cancel their service.
Can't believe I didn't check out…
Can't believe I didn't check out reviews PRIOR spending the $$. It didn't even have the deaths of people and still had them living at addresses. Another person MOVED 2yrs ago and still had old address.
How are sites like this legal???

At least I only paid $1 for one-time access; however, they provided NO additional info other than what was already public on their site. Just an attempt to try and get $155 for a year's premium account to actually see any additional info. Ripoff site.

Really shady company.
I sent them a request to remove my info for privacy reasons and it is impossible to get them to take my information down. On top of that they send me spam emails from different email account constantly. Really shady company.

Unauthorized Billing
On April 6, 2024, I searched for an old friend's phone number through MyLife. I was provided with a number, and I paid $1.00 for a one time, single search. The next day, I realized that I had been charged the $1.00, plus $155.40 for some type of membership that I never requested. Since then, I have sent four separate emails to MyLIfe's Member Support department requesting clarification and a refund...none have been answered. I have been able to locate two phone numbers, but neither one is ever answered and a recorded message simply directs callers requesting customer service to send an email. It is completely impossible to reach a live person.
I can't help but conclude that MyLife is a totally fraudulent company. Although they provided some information, their business practices were deceptive at best and illegal at worst, and they clearly have no intention of responding to customer complaints. I would rate them at 0 stars if it was possible. This was a rip off...stay away from this company!

I have sent at least 8 emails to this company requesting cancellation and yet I just got charged for another year on my credit card. Have ignored every single request and still charges my credit card. I looked for a phone number but cannot locate one so now I need to dispute the charges with m credit card company. Sick twisted little con artist website.

0 Stars. This website is a total scam and the emails will never stop coming no matter how many times you "Unsubscribe". "Removing you from the lists may take up to a week.." BS. You just don't plan on removing anybody. There should be a class-action against them for the crap they pull and get away with.
