Awful

Awful Buyer beware - I purchased the Nuface mini - the company replaced it twice as the device did not turn on - Nuface refused to give me a refund as they have a non-refund policy on this piece of garbage- they do not stand by their product- what an expensive piece of junk.., I am beyond upset

Worked great for the first two weeks

Worked great for the first two weeks, then it stopped working, charging and plastic cracked and broke. This is my 3rd nuface device and the same thing happens every single time- it just stops working after a few weeks. They refuse to refund my money back bc its passed 90 days now. I'm pissed and wasted hundreds on something that doesn't work and continues to break even with replacements.

I don't recommend NuFace products

Terrible customer service! NuFace doesn't stand behind their products. I bought the most expensive device and it had issues first time using. That was not my experience the first time I purchased a NuFace device 7 years ago and why I bought again. The quality is not what it used to be! It's not just NuFace it’s almost every company I have bought from Chanel (make up vessel broke shortly after receiving), nordstrom, (calson brand cheap thin material) Eddie Bauer (same as nordstrom) etc. Expensive but cheap quality. Consumers are paying more for crappy products! I had to pay for shipping to return the defective NuFace product. It took several calls and emails to finally receive the RMA# and the RMA# is only good for 10 days. If you don’t use it before the 10 days you have to request another. If a consumer buys your product the company should stand behind the product!

Love and hate

I have had two nuface mini so far, one broke after a year, i didn’t know what happened that time but when I had it on my face, it was so awfully painful, I was electrocuted! I googled and found out it is quite normal for nuface to give up working after a year. I thought it’s fine, if it lasts one year, it’s still cheaper than a lot of high end cream so it’s actually not bad. So I went to order another one. However this one has only lasted less than 3 months! It turns itself off as soon as I put the device on my face. I have got a refund from the shop so it’s not too bad. But the hassle of having to return and reorder is just not great. Now I have ordered the new version of mini, I am prepared for it to break again who knows when…
On the other note, I do find this device is great for my skin, I use it every morning, it just makes me feel more lifted and fresher, that’s why I have been reordering even though there is this really off putting battery problem.
Wish they could sort the battery problem out

it breaks

I used nuface for a full year and found that it does work. although some areas of my face grew a bit lumpy. Mostly my complaint is that the technology is not good. keeps breaking down. now the battery is gone completely and no help from the company. as I bought it on amazon and the waranty has expired I have no chance to get their help on the battery situation.

I bought this device in Dec

I bought this device in Dec. Loved using it everyday. After one month it quit, charged and it will not turn on. If I can get it turned on, it only lasts a few seconds. Sending it back to QVC. I only have three days to get my refund.

I bought my Nuface late 2019

I bought my Nuface late 2019, I’ve used it less than 50 times at a guess, I tried to charge it a few weeks ago and it wouldn’t change, I’ve just tried a new charger and again it’s not charging, my friends mini is also not charging, both are out of warranty, I won’t be replacing after reading other reviews as they don’t seem to last over a year!

Do NOT buy this device, it is a rubbish, doesn’t worth a penny! Also a life threat :(

If I could place no stars - I would gladly do so!

This device is dangerous, so please think twice before buying it! If something going to happen with your device or you after the 1 year warranty - the NuFace would leave you along with your problem.

My device was 1,5 days on without any way to turn it off. I wrote to the company customer service, which assured me that the “client experience is our utmost priority“ but what actually is their priority is to earn money on you, doesn’t matter what “I would like to offer you a 20% discount on the purchase of a brand-new device directly through us.”

I had a three day long conversation with so called Ashley, but she was not worried about the devise or me as a client, her upmost priority was to convince me to buy a new device, no matter what. She never asked me to send them the devise for examination… the same might happen to everyone.

Absolutely NOT acceptable! There plenty of other devices with the similar features. Study them carefully before ordering!

Stay safe! You are beautiful without any devices!

Flawed manufacturing

As with most of the reviews, the problem is with the manufacturing design. After about a year, my mini device stopped tuning on. Then when fully recharged, it started to randomly turn itself on, bleeping away, running down the battery again. Then it stopped turning on altogether until I charged it multiple times, only for it to randomly turn itself on again.
When I contacted customer care I got a cut-and-pasted response that I already had access to.
This is not a cheap device with an inbuilt flaw. Unfortunately, like me, it'll probably only be when things start to go wrong that people will pick up on these less positive reviews.

I’m only giving 2 stars because I found…

I’m giving 2 stars because I found it did work with consistent use. Consistent use also meant the non-replaceable battery dying after 18 months. I contacted the company (took them forever to respond). Their only response was to make me figure out my device was clearly outside of the 12 month warranty period, and basically I was told I had to buy a whole new device. There was no trade in offer or anything. So basically I have all of this stuff that has to be trashed because I have to purchase a whole new device. Not to mention, rechargeable batteries have to be disposed in a certain way so you can’t just throw that in the trash either.
This company is very wasteful in this manner which surprises me since everyone these days tries to recycle and “save the earth”. This product is very expensive to have to buy a brand new one every 18 months and dispose of the old. Their refurbished models aren’t that much cheaper and come with even less time on the warranty so I’m not buying that either.

Also, they delete or hide any negative comments on social media so people can’t see that they are making people buy a ton of plastic & batteries that have to be trashed. I’m pretty sure my review on their website was never approved either.

Device always breaks down after warranty…

Device breaks down after warranty every time. I have purchased 3 Nuface devices over the last few years and every time they break down at about the 1.5-2yr mark. Their warranty period suspiciously only covers up to 1yr. Their pro line has a 2yr warranty but I’m skeptical to purchase the higher priced device and risk seeing it break down suspiciously at 2.5-3yrs. Shopping around for a new microcurrent device brand this time.

Device stops working after 1 month

I bought a Nuface a few months ago I am unable to return my item because I don't have the packaging, but I am really disappointed that It has only lasted a few months. In total I have probably used it only 20x since I wasn't consistent with it. I wanted to start being consistent today because it is effective but it was completely dead. When I charge it it lights up blue, but it won't start after hours of charging. I originally noticed it was having issues when it would turn on by itself and never turn off.

I am disappointed that it is a very expensive product for the device to work around a month.

Dental nerve pain

I started to use my Nuface trinity and after 2 weeks I started to experience dental nerve pain. I searched the internet to see if this was a known side effect. I found that this had happened to other users.
I’m very disappointed as I am now the owner of a 2 week old, very expensive beauty gadget that I’m unable to use!

Disappointing

Purchased my nuface mini July 2022. Started having problems with the on/off switch not working properly and now 3 months on from purchase date the button does not work at all. Very disappointed with this product, on/off button seems to be a common problem that the company needs to address. Will not be bothering to contact customer services, all the reviews state how poor the service is so will not be wasting my time as well as my money. Will right this off as a bad purchase and look for a different devise that is far less expensive and does the same facial toning.

I must qualify by saying that I am 68 years old, and quite involved in women’s health and wellness. I did make a video of myself using your product, to share with others. I have not yet posted it but I thought I should be fair to show it to you first.

Don't Believe All The Hype/Don't waste Your Money

"NUFACE FIX REVIEW" I initially posted a negative review on the Nuface website & did check to see if it acutally posted, which it did. BUT.....a few days later I went to check & Nuface removed my first review of the Fix. I was shocked. Why not a rebuttal or just a response Nuface?? This told me all I needed to know about the company by them doing so. On Nov. 2021 I purchased the Nuface Fix (order# 163252) from their website because according to the CEO Tera Valdez's Instagram videos this device was different & targeted the skin in a way the older mini & trinity ELE couldn't. I have been using the device for a year on a consistent basis but wasn't seeing any real difference after use. This device was marketed as giving immediate results, not cumulative, so I know it wasn't meant to last. My fine lines weren't "blurred" & were my lips plumper?? Not really. I posed a question on instagram about what the hz were for the Nuface Fix. I received the reply that the Fix is 8.3hz. This hertz level is no different then the older mini & trinity models, which means it does not target the skin a different way. They LIED. I have the Trinity w/all attachments & I wasted my money on the FIX believing the CEO's claims of it being a different kind of device. I definitely don't trust this company and neither should you. Also my first Nuface Trinity device stopped working after only a few months & let me tell you I played hell getting in touch with the company & getting a new device. Only after I contacted Tera Valdez herself did I begin to get any satisfaction.
