Ok ngl it was a bit on the spenny side, I ordered a he day before they increased prices so feel like I got a deal. The communication was good and as much as I tried to queue jump the lead time… the team managed my expectations well 😏. I was apprehensive about paying so much without seeing, touching and feeling the real thing. I don’t feel the website does justice to the expert craftsmanship it’s truly amazing. The quality of the wood is second to none and you can see the attention to detail is top notch. The team clearly are masters of there trade. 100% recommend.

I absolutely love my new bed. I spent a long time trawling the internet to find something that appealed and instantly fell in love with the Natural Bed Company Hoxton Contemporary Bed in walnut as soon as I spotted it. Initially the price tag put me off as it was more that I had initially anticipated paying, but after a few months of continually returning to the website I decided that nothing else would do and placed an order. My order was handled really well from start to finish and I could not be more pleased with my bed now it is here. The quality of the materials and workmanship is exceptional as many people have said before me.

We’ve just recently had a bed made by NBC which was a mixture of two different designs and it is perfect. The wood and fabrics are beautiful. Would highly recommend this small independent business. Thank you.

Our second bed from the Natural Bed Company and, once again, we’re delighted with it. Well-made and sturdy, made in Sheffield from sustainable materials, properly finished and easy to assemble. I’ve put together a King and a Superking by myself and I’m not Wonderwoman. Communication with the company is always good and they stick to their promised timelines. I really recommend this company.

This a great company who supply beautifully made to order solid beds. We waited a long time but it was worth it. Our walnut Leith bed is stunning. The paperwork tells me that Jim made it and a jolly fine job he made of it. The smell of real wood filled the room for days. On a practical side it was easy to construct and customer services are friendly and helpful. The only downside is that our bedroom is still waiting for the builder and decorator to slot us in for the work required to bring the room up to spec to match the bed! Happy customer!!

Beautifully designed, high quality handmade beds. We were able to choose the design and wood type of our bed and although it took a while for our order to be made, we were really impressed with the quality upon delivery. Easy to assemble and exactly what we wanted. Would recommend to anyone looking for unique and high quality bed frames.

Great company and customer support. We have had our Natural Bed Company bed for almost 4 years and really like the quality and the design. Late last year we had an issue with the bed, and their customer support was excellent. They determined that our issue was due to a defective part and remedied the situation with no hassle. Very efficient and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend them and it's nice to have a stylish and sturdy bed made from real wood that is constructed in the UK by hand.

I've had my four poster bed for almost a year now...it's beautifully crafted and high quality. From ordering to delivery, I've been very happy with my experience with the company. Will definitely look to them again in the future.

We have bought a bed, bedding and other items from the Natural bed company however their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
Example: We bought over £500 of bedding a month ago for the new bed. One of the sets, the only pillow cases they had were ones on display, so we bought them as we were told it was the same colour.
In the light at home they appear different and I’ve sent photos and the company agree they look different. However instead of simply admitting a mistake has been made somewhere and that we’ve been sold the wrong pillowcases they are refusing to replace them because the pillows have since been slept on and, all they are offering is to SELL the right pillow cases to us but as a “goodwill gesture” will give us 50% off. Whether they have been slept on or not doesn’t change the fact that we were sold the wrong colour pillowcases, so their argument doesn’t make sense. It’s also unethical to expect the customer to foot the bill for their mistake. And for £30 they’re prepared to lose a customer that has spent around £2000 with them in the past year and probably would have gone on spending if not for their odd behaviour.

I've checked with Citizens Advice.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods should be of a satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. My rights have been breached because the items you sold me don't match the description which was matching duvet and pillow cases.

According to Citizens Advice, it's also down to you to prove the problem's my fault. I bought the pillow cases without original packaging so there was no way for me to check that they were the same colour and could only take your word for it and under the lighting conditions in your store. I had no reason to suspect that you were selling me the wrong pillow cases.

As per Citizens Advice, I am within my right to ask for a replacement free of charge.

If you can't offer me this in a reasonable time, I would like a discount or refund.

We're very happy with our purchase and the service from the Natural Bed Company. We bought the malabar bed with weldbank mattress in king size and both are everything we hoped for. The oak bed was straightforward to assemble, thankfully (even though we were working on it late after work so we could sleep on it that night) and the mattress is beyond comfortable. The frame doesn't move or squeak at all.
Our last mattress from a high street retailer wasn't especially cheap but was poor quality so we only kept it 2 years. Although the Natural Bed Company's products are more expensive I feel they are much better value as they will last longer.
The ladies in the shop were lovely, helpful and friendly but not overbearing. The delivery guys were equally nice and even offered to take their shoes off as they entered the house.
We're very happy with our purchase and although we don't anticipate buying another bed for a long time we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Natural Bed Company.

This may seem a little strange but I've had a drawer divan bed for several decades. One thing that bugged me was not being able to clean under it. Well not without considerable effort to move it. When I came across the Natural Bed Company and their hand made wooden beds I thought it's time for a change. I now have a bed I can clean underneath with no effort. But forget that! The bed is a work of art. Solid wood with the beauty of the grain shining through. I have the Bamford in ash with the tall headboard. It's better in real life than on the web site

I don’t normally write reviews but I have been super impressed by the whole experience of buying a bed from the natural bed company. Correspondence from customer services is nicely pitched, full of detail and just enough to keep you up to date. Manufacture and delivery times were spot on and the independent company used to deliver was very good. The bed arrived very well packaged and the instructions are simple and clear. All of that is rather pointless if the product itself is not up to much. Quality of the bed and workmanship is exceptional and I don’t think I would go anywhere else to buy my next bed. Having trawled your usual high street stores to find something we liked, I am so glad I found out about these guys. Check out their website and believe in what you see. The most solid comfortable bed I've ever had. Bit of a mix up with the delivery but they answered the phone within a single ring and resolved matters right away.
