Terrible company avoid at all costs

Bought a clutch kit for my Audi A3, supposed to be a SACHS kit. What come was a SACHS flywheel and the clutch and slave were a unknown brand. I didnt have a choice but to fit this when i found out as my car was already in pieces. I fitted the kit and started using the car. After about 5 miles of driving the slave cylinder failed. I contacted them and they said they would send me another one. I stripped my car back down again (5 hour job) and waited for the new slave. A package arrived and they had actually sent me a starter motor not a slave cylinder. Contacted them again and they said they would send me a slave cylinder the next day, 3 days later still no slave cylinder. I called their customer services and spoke to the rudest member of staff I have ever come across and demanded a refund so i could buy a slave cylinder from my local motor factors which they agreed. About a hour later i found a email from them stating they had already posted me a slave cylinder so i cant have a refund unless i post the new slave cylinder back (at my expense)! Also demanded the new slave cylinder to me a SACHS one and not some cheap branded rubbish they originally sent me. Please avoid this company who are a total joke!!

I baught a techniclutch kit for my vito, supposedly luk or comparable quality, it failed completely and left me stuck on a French motorway in rush hour traffic, the van never carried any weight or towed a trailer, it was a flat road and not stop start, they asked for photos, which I sent, they imidatley offers to send a new one, I said no thanks, I want a refund, they are refusing and offer a credit note!! It has cost meet 500e to get home and get the van back, and still no solution, they are selling crap, they have nothing but bad reviews, and they are unhelpful and i will never buy from them again, I suggest nobody else does,

Avoid Techniclutch like the plague!

I bought a clutch and DM flywheel kit for a shogun from Techniclutch off eBay. At £748.99 it wasn't cheap but it was supposed to be quality genuine LUK components so I thought I was doing the right thing and getting a well-matched kit and not just some random collection of cheap pattern parts. However when the garage doing the work for me went to install it the clutch driven plate was wrong and didn't match the splines on my vehicle. The mechanic pointed out to me that none of the parts were LUK!, it turned out that the only item with any LUK reference on it was a cardboard box that the Exedy DMF was in. I have spent the best part of a month trying to get this mess sorted out and I have been having to use taxis in the meantime at great expense. Finally, eBay got them to send a full refund, to be fair ebay has been very helpful.
I am out of pocket for all the additional traveling expenses I've incurred, extra costs at the garage for the time wasted on phone calls to Techniclutch by the mechanic and time and materials for the packaging and return of the items. On top of that, I have had to take out a loan to get the car repaired because I hadn't got a refund and needed it done. All in all, it has cost me around £500 over what it should have been if things had gone to plan.
All I can say about Techniclutch is to avoid them at any cost! If you want quality parts from reputable manufacturers, buy them face to face locally and not from this company. I shall, of course, be seeking recompense for my consequential losses but the chances of getting them are slim.
I just wish I had read the reviews before dealing with them, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Only buy from NCDUK/techniclutch if you want broken parts

These people are just about the worst company i have ever dealt with, absolutely useless, appalling and obnoxious customer service.
Dont be afraid to take these people to court for your money back unless you want a "credit note" and also don't forget to report them to watchdog. Full clutch kit wrote my car off after 900 miles of it being fitted.

Avoid this company like the plague!

Well where do I start, bought a flywheel off their ebay shop called TECHNICLUTCH, as renault don't have any in stock. He wanted 480 but with the best offer feature I got it for 450 which was reasonable for a flywheel for my car. Well it came 2 days later, guess what, wrong flywheel, it was for a mk2 car mine is a mk3, rang them up to tell them the situation and they said we need to investigate further we will call you back? Investigate what exactly I gave you 450 quid and you sent me the wrong part. I checked the listing again and the picture of the flywheel on the listing was off another ebay sellers page, rofag, who is a genuine Renault parts dealer in Poland, so they obviously didn't have the flywheel I needed if they were using someone else's listing picture. Also the part number on the box had been blatantly cut off. Spoke again on the phone l, he told me I was wrong and the part fitted my car and had I tried it, I ended up sending him pictures of the 2 flywheels side by side so he could see the difference, he said OK I've got the right one for you, I'll exchange it, he then sent me a link to a flywheel that also didn't fit my car, he said it would 100% fit, no it wouldn't my car is a mk3 RS this was for a Laguna! So long story short, they havnt a clue what they are on about they just want your money, I opened a case through PayPal, had to send it back which has me 30 quid out of pocket as they don't pay the returns, luckily I got refunded, by PayPal not them today or id never of seen my money again, stay well clear unless you want conned, read the rest of their reviews says it all really, use at your own peril!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Read the ratings, people!! 87% have voted ‘appalling’ for a reason!!!!! Wish I’d read Trustpilot first!
Same as everyone else. NCDUK sent the wrong clutch (£212) then sent the right clutch (£138). Three months, countless emails and phone calls later and I’m STILL waiting for the refund of £70 odd.
I’ve now opened a dispute through PayPal as NCDUK dragged their heels so much I exceeded the time to raise a dispute through EBay.
DO NOT USE!!!! You’d be a fool to ignore everyone’s advice!

Substandard quality selling substandard parts

Don’t buy from this company or there eBay alter ego techniclutch!!!
The quality is appalling even the boxes they use are crap.
Item arrived in a box that was in pieces and the pressure plate was damaged.
Lost my spot on the ramp while waiting replacement.
Upon installing the release bearing fell to bits (Peugeot pull type) no response from phone or email. Until I opened a eBay case.
When side by side with the motor factors 1 the lack of quality was apparent. Finish on surfaces was miles apart pressure plate springs where tiny and metal was thin and the release bearing was smaller half the thickness and 1/3 the weight then the new quality 1.

Shoddy nationwide cost £130 big headache, crap quality, cost extra time and money.

Motor factors kit cost £180 all in fitted like oem part

But that’s not the worst part I could of forgiven the all that if this seller honoured his refund policy
Painfully slow and acting stupid all to hold on to my £130
eBay stepped in decided in my favour and now I have to wait upto 30 days for money back as I payed by card at checkout not PayPal so it goes into a PayPal guest account.

Ignore their reply just look at other reviews this is not a 1 off and they have tried to make it sound like they used the same components as the motor factors it just shows their deceit!!!!

The use of these verbalised violence is not acceptable " Money robbing shysters selling substandard parts" We are neither robbers or shysters, we sell an range of units ranging from OE brands to and including National and nationwide techniclutch units, at a range of prices to suit all pockets. Refund policy is as per the 48 hour E-bay refund policy, however, it does require the returning party to correctly complete the returns process which if not done will create delays, which the sellers has no control over. Monies are returned in the same manner as the purchaser paid. All own brand product is manufactured to specifications recommenced for OES products using world wide plants widely used by other clutch distributors. Whilst we regret that this buyer was dissatisfied we do not accept that he should be allowed to use such defamatory language.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Avoid!! Avoid!! Avoid!!! I feel truly ripped off! and deceived!!. I have reported them to Trading Standards. I purchased a complete brand new clutch kit from their ebay store: Techniclutch for £300. It was fitted by my local garage who said the clutch was faulty and defective. I had to buy a new clutch locally and I incurred an additional £150 labour charges to have the clutch re-fitted. In the end the clutch change cost me in excess of £800 not to mention the inconvenience, hassle, stress and an extra day without a car. I am still awaiting a refund and apology. The advert on ebay was misleading. It shows a photo of the LUK logo with a clutch and the brand is listed as LUK, other. However when I raised the defect issue I was informed by them that the clutch was not LUK but in fact their own brand NATIONWIDE which at no point was mentioned or listed in their advert. The only item by LUK was the bolts!!! The garage informed me that the clutch supplied looked of poor quality like a reconditioned unit. I feel that their advert is deliberately misleading. I will be issuing legal proceedings in the county court.

Traders are responsible for making sure the products they offer and sell to consumers are accurately described. It is important to ensure that consumers have the right information about the products they are being offered so that they can decide whether or not they want to purchase them.

The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (CPRs) prohibit traders from misleading consumers by falsely describing products

A trader must not mislead a consumer about a product in any way by giving false or deceptive information about a number of specific matters. They must also not omit information about a product that a consumer would need in order to make an informed decision.

It should be noted that to breach the majority of the Regulations the misleading information given (or information that has not been given) to a consumer must cause, or be likely to cause, the average consumer to make a different transactional decision. An example of this would be the consumer making a purchase that they would not otherwise have made. Transactional decisions also include decisions made after a consumer has bought a product - for example, the decision whether to return a faulty product or to accept an offer of redress.

It is a breach of the Regulations (and potentially a criminal offence) to engage in an 'unfair commercial practice'. In relation to the description of a product, a practice is unfair if it is either of the following:

a 'misleading action' (it contains false or misleading information, and is therefore untruthful in relation to a list of specified matters, or its overall presentation in any way deceives or is likely to deceive the average consumer)
a 'misleading omission' (it omits or hides material information or provides material information in a manner that is not clear)
In addition, for a practice to be unfair the trader's misleading action or omission must cause, or be likely to cause, the average consumer to take a different transactional decision

I received the wrong clutch kit

I received the wrong clutch kit avoid these people! I returned the kit and told I'd receive a full refund within two weeks, after four weeks waiting and after many phone calls to ncduk I received a credit note for £475, ncduk said a credit not was given as 30 days had passed since the order date, which it was only 23 days from ordering to returning it, even though trading standards said ncduk were in breach of contract and legally should give a full refund to the source it was originally paid, ncduk would only give a credit note. I would never buy from them again as once they have your money they won't give it back, the kit they supplied were some parts thrown together in old box's not a clutch kit you'd expect to receive. I eventually got my money back through my credit card/bank after giving them The facts, if it wasn't for the bank I would have never seen my money again... My advice... Pay a little more money and buy from a decent supplier... Would i use ncduk again... No and I wouldn't advice anyone to either.

Opened PayPal case - they replied to Paypal that they would give refund once item had been returned so Paypal closed case!!!!

PLEASE STAY WELL CLEAR OF THESE CON MEN!!!!!

Recently purchased a flywheel kit from these con men. Gave them all the details of the vehicle and still sent me wrong part was forced to go and buy one from somewhere else as vehicle was already in bits on the ramp. Sent them the parts back and 4 weeks later still waiting for a refund. All they do is fob you of and say someone will ring you back and no one every does. I have reported to trading standards and also to the police as this is classed as fraud as they stated refunds no later than 14 days. Please stay well clear as they parts are also copy parts of LUK as my mechanic pointed out.

Bought single mass conversion for a Corsa. Within a month the clutch plate broke in bits. They sent out a replacement clutch plate and you’ve guessed it, within 8 months exactly the same thing. Have been arguing with them for weeks both through email and on the phone when they can be bothered to answer.

Was in contact with consumer rights and they inform me that the 6 month warranty that they give with their clutches (which they don’t tell you) has nothing to do with your right to a full refund, so don’t be put off by this company’s lies. Take them to small claims court and get back the money for the clutch plus labour. And any extra costs incurred. This is what I will be doing as they obviously think people can’t be bothered.

ordered A 3 part clutch kit from these people, did not arrive until the Monday following the day they advised me and then part was missing, box was clearly old stock/ customer return got pushed to pillar and post by this outfit over missing bearing, they claimed it had been sent in post, a week later still no bearing Mechanic saw who the clutch as from, this firm refused to fit it, saying he didn't want to take responsibility so even if the missing part turned up I would have problems twice they claimed they sent bearing out, and I didn't reciewve it, they even claim to had received information that it had been delivered yet when I asked my postman, he confirmed that on that day, he had no mail for my address. so Avoid, clutches have a bad reputation, and they are not truthful with you avoid I am now trying to arrange a return and refund. luckily I paid via PayPal, so I'm covered by their rules.

Avoid! or you may not get your money back if something goes wrong.

Avoid!! Avoid!! Avoid!!
Ordered clutch kit from their eBay store on Tuesday 12 March. Next day firs message from costumer service (CS) came asking for more details. After providing them ( Wednesday 13 March morning) to their costumer service I've asked if my item will arrive on time(Thursday 14 March) received confirmation that item is expected to be delivered on time. On Friday I've contacted costumer service making enquiries about the delivery as parcel did not arrived. CS responded that they not sure what happened with my parcel. After checking with warehouse I've received information that someone from warehouse will be in touch shortly. I've asked did my item was dispatched and again only informed by CS that someone from warehouse will be in touch. After hearing that I've informed them that I no longer require the item and I want a full refund. After the phone call I've contacted eBay and requested refund - eBay representative sent out message to Ncduk eBay store (technicluch) with refund request. On Monday I've received email from NCDUK that my parcel was shipped. I've phoned them and informed that this is not required and I want refund CS rep only said that his is their mistake as warehouse used Friday shipping list. I told them that I wil not accept the parcel and want refund. I was informed that they will issue return slip as soon as parcel arrive and requested if I could accept the delivery. Now I cant get my money back as they will not issue return slip and I cant return the item by eBay as the case is still open. Do not buy from them as costumer service is not helpfull and you will have a very difficult time in getting your money back as they are making it very difficult. Avoid!!!!
