The pre booking does not work as advised on the confirmation email (the number plate recognition as advertised did not work) which was embarrassing so be careful if you pre book. I can't help but think they do that on purpose so you pay twice to avoid holding everyone else up.

I was helped enormously by Hannah of Customer Service, after I parked and boarded the train, then realised that I had parked using my old car registration! Hannah sorted everything out for me over the phone, which meant that I was able to enjoy my day out without worrying about having a parking fine on my return.

I wanted to increase my booking time as I had inadvertently put the wrong end time on my booking. Initially I was told I couldn't do this but after explaining the lady I spoke to was very helpful and did amend the booking over the phone.

I have the same problem each time I’ve parked at the station. The postcode is not correct, the Satnav never takes us directly there. Each time I’ve pre booked, the the machine never recognises the QAR code, so you end up having to contact a person to let you in and out.

I had issues downloading the app upon arrival and could not rectify until the following day I used the app and chat to advisor option to get help. John was super sharp efficient and helpful guiding me through the process of payment. He stayed online until he processed my payment and ensured we would not receive a fine. Excellent service and communication super pleased thank you 🙏🏻

It depends on the car park you’re in. Some are better sign posted than other but the best was being able to pay later within 48 hrs. In the app there is a help chat and that immediately answered my questions. It was good to know my car would be safe and there was security entry/exit access as well.

I had an issue with payment machines at adjacent car parks and was charged incorrectly I raised this via the online support and received a response and resolution within 24Hours. This is outstanding customer service. Well done NCP.

Arrived at Gatwick for airport valet parking, only to discover no instructions in the email as to where we needed to go and the signage at the North terminal being equally unhelpful. The link in the booking email had also expired so no information available there, either. As a result we ended up driving through the ‘drop off’ zone twice before being able to speak the Valet Parking team and work out where to go.
We were looking at a double drop off fee but luckily Eric at NCP was able to sort everything out and cancel it. Thanks Eric - you made a stressful start to our holiday much easier.

NCP car park (LNER Grantham Car Park) -
I recently parked at Grantham Train Station, paid on exit, then 3 weeks later I got a parking fine, which was appealed and then cancelled. No apology received. Not happy as it did cause me an element of anxiety. Obviously the technology is not up to scratch.
