Absolute nightmare from start to finish.
Feb 2021 agreed new door, widows and brickwork to be fitted in 6-8 weeks. Eventually fitted in May 2021 after false dates being given.
Following fitting, damage done to existing wall and to driveway which was fixed after discussion.
front door leaked and it became clear it was badly fitted and not fit for purpose , despite 4 attempts to fix it, it still leakes in february 2022. with resulting damaged floor from damp.
Despite trying many times to seek resolvement and compensation this was not forthcoming.
Intimidation and Harrassment from Partner of company and unwillingness to move forward.
finally agreed a small discount in March 2022 to close case and get another window company to repair and refit door so we are watertight.
No customer service , no complaints procedure.
Do not recommend use this company. They make promises they cannot keep to get you to sign up and then don't deliver
response to reply.
this was not normal customer service, especially intimidating phonecalls early mornings and late at night. We are glad to be concluded with Needhams, however their solutions were not helpful, including removing the door. we now are instructing another company to rectify the leak as we lost trust jn the company. the partner would not communicate via email, he only wanted to either phone or come to the house, which after the I timidating nature of his phonecalls was not wanted, and this was communicated in writing several times but no notice was taken, it was only sorted when we threatened court action and got other opinions on the poor workmanship of the door

Poor aftercare from Needhams, poor quality of materials and fitting. Already starting to come out of fittings and fitters damaged the conservatory. Despite a recent build and having a 10 year warranty, Needhams have refused to put it write, pay that little more and get quality. Don’t make the same mistake as me

I dont usually write reviews but cannot recommend Needhams enough. Anyone considering having replacement windows should go with this company.
So reasonably priced, quality is excellent and the window fitter who attended, Martin was excellent. He was polite, professional, respectful and really got on with the job. So glad I picked this Company - thank you.

I have just had a new front door fitted by Needhams, i wouldn't usually write reviews. However the whole process was good from start to finish and the door looks amazing. The fitter really took pride in his work and left us feeling happy. I would definitely recommend this company.

We have recently had a conservatory built by Needhams.
We cannot fault the whole team everything was carried out with consideration for us.
Tom came and dug out the footings and did all the brick work, the weather being cold and wet he carried on with a smile.
Dean came and put all the frame work and glass in, again what a good job made.
Everything was wash down and swept away, no mess left for us to deal with. A most excellent and professional job.

Needhams have recently installed a new conservatory and some French doors for us. Service was outstanding and completely painless. Fitters and surveyors where very polite and work carried out was exceptional. Didn’t make a mess and explained each step of install clearly. Will happily recommend. Price was very good as well. Thank you.

Have just had a new roof fitted today and in Dean Evans the fitter I can only say what a fine job he did,all on his own and with a bad knee he didn’t complain but got on with the job and completed it in a day and a half,
All old roofing etc was taken away and conservatory cleaned inside and out.Would recommend Dean to anybody wishing to have excellent work carried out.
Having read various reviews on how bad NW are my experience was one of complete satisfaction.

I have mixed feelings surrounding the stars I have given and if it wasnt for the last team it would have been a 2.
We had our windows fitted 2 years ago and over this time we have had numerous revits for our kitchen window and patio door. However, for well over a year we have been noticing some noise and mould growing on the walls near to the windows, which I put down to condensation. Unfortunately we have discovered this is not the case and infact it is due to the windows not being sealed for 2 years.
There were gaps above the windows and poor fitting near the sils, which was very disoppinting to find. Some of the windows I fixed my self due to the amount of mould, but when we realised it was a window fitting issue we got needhams out ( just over 2 weeks later) and the rest of the windows were corrected and the gap in the kitchen opener was finally resolved, as it was packed out incorrectly on 2 occassions.
My delemor is that we paid for our windows to be fitted right the first time and not 2 year later. So does that mean that my warranty date should start from this year now ? and I feel that we should be entitled to compansation. I have video and photographs as advised.

I have written 5 star reviews for the company in the past and having had windows fitted on 29th November 2021 This did not go down well at all we’re do we start ?
1. The booking was for 29th Nov for installation between 8- 10. Gone 9.30am no phone call saying some one was coming I had to call them told some one would be there in 40 minutes. Half hour later guy turns up with some one from the office as he was on his own.
The other chap from the office was helping him take out the window and fit it and then left half hour later. The fitter did not get his name was on his own and was taking out the old window I came up to see how he was doing and as he was taking the window frame out a large chunk of plaster came out. He must off really forced it out as the other window there was no issues with. Moving forward I could tell he wanted to get out quick and go. He did not fit the strips or seal the window on the side and most importantly did not bother to put the blinds back. In the other room which was all complete. He says the silicone needs to dry? So it’s now going 4pm and he wants to leave. I asked him what’s going to happen with the plaster coming off he says he will put it in the notes and give to office? When He left I noticed He left three long strips of UPVC casing. I called the office the next day and explained what the problem was and was told some one will be here on Friday to sort it out. I don’t know but in the past few months Needhams quality off fitters has gone down. I would much preferred if they would have sent some one more experienced out and would have liked to have Steve do the work. The chap in question had been with Needhams for a year.
Why was not one off your highly experienced fitters sent out.
As you can see I had written 5 star reviews and I am soory to say this experience was a nightmare job not completed to Needhams standard at all?
I now will see what happens on Friday now as told some one will be here. Needhams are a good company with good products but this time the fitting aspect let them down on this occasion. I do hope in the future if I am having any other work done they send out a highly experienced fitter who completes work to a high standard. Been difficult to write this negative review as was not expecting this to happen.

We had Needhams to fit our windows & door several years ago & I’m so pleased they have a 10 warranty as we have had them out on numerous occasions, 4 days ago our front day wouldn’t lock the locking system had completely jammed so we’re unable to lock it, my husband called them & spoke to a gentleman to arrange someone to come & repair it, we were told they haven’t any slots & the soonest they could get would be in 7 days time! My husband said that’s ridiculous so we were then offered an appointment on Tuesday (4days) my husband again said that’s isn’t any use how do you propose we secure our door in the meantime, the gentleman suggested we wedge a chair under the door handle to prevent anyone entering! Today was the day they were supposed to be coming to fix it! Low & behold we received a phone saying that no one would be coming out! I suggested if we got a locksmith would they pay & we were told that isn’t there policy and we should claim on our house insurance! We’ve had various problems with the locks on our our windows and doors yes they eventually come out but in my opinion they aren’t of great quality & if I’d have an insight I’d have brought them from another company!

Because I had a good conversation with the Fitting Manager who explained the delay and accepted their communication was poor I have now revised my rating. I was not offered any incentive to revise my rating just good communication
Following on a previous review. After 24 weeks they finally completed the fitting.
Salesman 5 stars
Site survey 2 stars Need chasing up and gave an unrealistic fitting schedule to the fitters. 1 days instead of the 3 days it actually took
Fitters 5 stars Fitted the windows well, left a very good finish and clean
Customer Liason 0 stars There has been no communications or updates through out the 24 weeks. Only apology was through Trustpilot which is a poor customer relations approach

Needhams windows is a reputable double glazing company based in Lough borough who make their own units as there offices and manufacturing unit is also there. Needhams is a elite company in the sense they always put the customer first unlike other companies who go bust after a while and change their name. Needhams have been established since 1984 and the workmanship and quality of glazing is off a very high standard. I have had a composite door and window fitted few months back and the units and glass look great. I am now having two more windows done soon. The service department is great and they come out if their are any issues without a fuss dont just take your money and end off. I am really am surprised with some off the negative reviews on here. Some people are so quick to complain nothing is ever perfect but if there is a problem Needhams will deal with it soon as. I am so pleased I choose this company as there are so many so called double glazing companies who are just after your money and when something goes wrong they dont want to know. Thank you so much for a great service and fitters are very professional and efficient . I am now having two more windows fitted next week :) best wishes Paul sharma

Needham's put up a conservatory for me 7 years ago,but the inner panel imploded July 2021,they insisted they have never known this happen, but one of their fitters who came to look at it said he knows of this happening a lot of times. I also looked online at homeowners hub and one customer had it happen on 3 separate occasions their company replaced the panels no problem so why are Needhams insisting I pay for it in spite of having a 10 year guarantee. I have just looked online at Needhams customer reviews (12/11/2021) reads 37%excellent 8%poor and 48% bad I think these figures speak for themselves.

Purchased Byfold Doors from Needhams. Very happy with the doors and installation was top quality. Even though we needed an extended plinth it was no problem as the supervisor popped to a local merchant and collected it so the job was completed. I would definitely recommend Needhams and will be using them for my Front and Back Doors.

I had all my windows done by needhams and what a fatastic job they have done. From first meeting Rupe to Lee who organised it i can only give their service five stars.

Just had old conservatory removed and replaced with a new one with solid roof. Great to deal with such a professional company. I dealt directly with one of the owners - Rupe? It’s clear that these guys know their trade and kept us fully informed through the whole demolition and re-build process. The building work for the base is spot on and complies to full building regs. The conservatory itself looks great with a solid roof and the chief fitter Jonas was brilliant with his careful attention to detail and finishing. I cannot recommend these guys enough - Many thanks Rob Mapperley NG3

This is a follow up from my previous rating.Conservatory fitted last year has caused me so much anguish and still not sure whether it will be stable in the months to come. People tell me grey thermalite block should only be used internally , not for external walls as has been on my build. My door doesn’t close properly now . The mess left on my drive by the builder is costing me £500 to get corrected. The patio at the back is ruined as my sandstone still has cement and concrete which can’t be removed by jet washing . The needhams surveyor said some one would come out and do snags but no one has. Very poor customer service .
