Used to be good, very bad speed now

Used to have sites there in the past, which was fine.

Now for my new personal website I decided to go there again. But the speed of the lowest web package is completely unacceptable for a basic light weight WordPress website.

I'm just out of luck since refunds are only possible within the first 2 weeks, while support kept me busy. Now I really regret having subscribed for 3 years.

Don’t go here, they removed

Company is a total scam, they do not respond on support issues, cancelling service takes forever and they keep sending invoices. They’ve had a rating of 2.7 (out of 10) on Kiyoh but they’ve removed their profile there because all reviews had negative feedback about the service.

By removing this, they hope that customers won’t notice how bad of company it is! Don’t trust ‘em, there are plenty of other hosting providers that do want to provide service you are paying for.

The most untrustworthy/shady company…

The most untrustworthy/shady company that I have ever dealt with. They automatically renewed my membership (when I had no intention of renewing for a second year), and to add insult to injury raised the fees for the domain from around 5 EUR to around 60 EUR, an 1100% increase!. I didnt get any English language emails (I cannot read Dutch) telling me that my Domain Name registration was going to be renewed without my consent (even though the layout of the website itself is in both English and Dutch). Then they sent a debt collector by the name of "blue finance" after me who proceeded to contact me via email and telling me I will face further action if I do not comply and pay off my "debt". The debt collector also wants an additional 40 EUR "collection charges" so 60 EUR + 40 EUR = 100 EUR. This is bullying. Furthermore, they havent responded to a single email of mine to resolve the situation regarded these fraudulent fees. Of course their live chat is out of service too. Its been days. Complete silence. I believe their “business model” is catching people off guard by automatically renewing their contracts without their consent, raising the fees (in my case by 1100%) and chasing them down with debt collectors to ensure they pay up, a classic “bait and switch”. For you Dutch nationals out there, please contact the consumer rights groups CONSUMENTENBOND the Dutch Consumer Rights Agency, along with the "Autoriteit Consument & Mark" & finally the DE GESCHILLENCOMMISSIE. Fight for your rights, I am still trying to resolve my dispute with this company, even though they do not even respond to my emails (apart from automated replies).

For those of you that need further evidence. I have the email from the debt collector,
there are dozens of negative reviews of neostrada on trustpilot as well as the Facebook page of Neostrada with experiences just like mine, some of them even willing to start a class action lawsuit against this company. Most of these people are Dutch and are based in the Netherlands. I am not a Dutch national (British) nor do I live in the Netherlands so I do not know my rights and the debt collector's rights when I believe the charges are fraudulent and the company that the debt collector is working on behalf of (Neostrada.nl) wont even respond to my emails. Do I have to pay if I am contesting the nature of these charges and actually believe them to be downright illegal?

Really bad!!

Really bad! They raise their pricing with 500% in 3 years. Now I need to pay for 3 more years and now they suspended all my account but I still need to pay for the service!

They also did not let me know that they would suspend my e-mail & websites so my clients can not reach me. Really really NOT ok!!!

Good while it lasts

The service they offer is good, as long as you use it.

Two years without using their service I still receive invoices although I've cancelled on multiple occasions. They then proceed to threaten with litigation.

Pay a bit more at a competitor if you value your mental health

worst service imaginable

I don’t think I’ve ever had a customer service experience this disappointing before. For a week there has been a bug in their software that won’t let me fully use the service I pay for. Instead of attempting to fix it, I’m being told to ‘just try something different until it works’, over and over again.

You can’t call them, and they take at least a day to respond to each support email you send, so your issue will never get solved.

Do not get involved with Neostrada, under no circumstances.

i think this is what they call legal…

i think this is what they call legal scammers....

As many other reviewers say they silently renew contracts a month ahead of expiration... then send the bill the day of expiration.
You can't cancel cause they already renewed... you have to cancel a month in advance (something which is not required at all)

TLDR: SCAM COMPANY, DO NOT BUY

Never ending contracts

Neostrada will do everything to rip your leg out. These nerds intentionally use wording to confuse you while they are trying to steal as much money from you as a small business owner.
One sided contract increases over 200% and they refer to difficult to understand contract terms in small letter font. Even when you ended contracts, years later they send invoices telling you that you didn't use the right wording in your contract ending note.

Unethical and Fraudulent company!

Neostrada is the most unethical and fraudulent web host with the absolute worse customers service in the Netherlands. ⚠️⬇️

As a freelancers I started using Neostrada 4 years (!!) ago and always been a loyal customer paying the same yearly amount of €47,18 (€8,99 for the domain and €30,00 for the webhosting plus taxes).

Last year the company decided to change their package and raise the price with MORE THEN 200%! They now started charging €155,93 (€8,99 for the domain and €119,88 for something called ‘premium business’ plus taxes)
With only a small email announcing this change and no clear difference a lot of people have been overwhelmed and shocked by this new price, as you can read it multiple reviews.

After receiving the invoice (which only comes over email) with the new pricing and trying to come up with a solution, the customer service did their absolute best to ignore the problem and not help. After 2 weeks I received a warning (over email) to pay and not even a week after an actual letter of a collection agency called Blue Finance B.V. got delivered to my home address. A company that happens to be in the same building as Neostrada. They added another €40,00 to the invoice and forced me to pay.

Try to avoid this company by all cost. They will try their best to scam as much money out of you as possible, without giving you anything in return.

Very bad service when you have multiple domains

Very bad service. We hosted 25 domain names there. When you forget to pay one bill all your websites go black. Even the ones tourniquet for. The charge domain names double and gene you ask to reduce it on the bill they say you first have to pay otherwise they disconnect you. No normal way to threat your customers

Probably illegal charges

Pricing unexpectedly doubled without ANY reminders and now they send a debt collector Blue Finance to collect money for a service I NEVER used. They won't even pro-rate the cost for the few months of this year that I was unaware that they were charging me. I'm pretty sure this is illegal and would love to have a class action lawsuit started on behalf of all the people they have screwed over here.

Where to start.

WARNING: so bad, no words for it.

Where to start.
Is short: I am having multiple problems since 6 months: email that doesn't work several times, so I talk via other channels like social media with worried customers who cannot email us anymore.

The service is zero. zero.
It's becoming SO very complicated, and the problems keep happening and I don't know if I trust any company right now.

The service is bad.
My questions were ignored.
Over and over again.
I ask via a ticket: please, can you tell me why this-and-this email does not work. The question stayed un-answered.

After 6-7 months, finally a manager starts to interfere. He wants to use teamviewer without reading all the emails, not knowing the problem... Because, I paused the viewer and kind of put pressure on him to communicate in a way with me (why would I just let someone in my computer without any further contact..? especially a stranger from a company that I don't trust?!) After a few times requesting to CALL me for a moment in this complex situation, he did.

Then he asked me: 'Ok, what is the problem?'
Then I could cry. Seriously? You don't know?!?

Team viewer didn't work. We spent 60 min on trying. No result. So, my problem did not solve. My email is still a mess.

Since I was on the phone, I used this moment to friendly tell him that I will LEAVE ASAP!!!! So, now - one day later - i am seeking a new company.

Meanwhile, I find out that one of my WHOLE WEBSITES is GONE! I contact them and they say: it's hacked.

Wow.
It's your oen responsibility to keep it safe and they leave me with that. I am at this point begging if they can help me. They do not.

Main priority now is leave.
As soon and as fast as possible.

Big warning here: DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.
It wil end up in tears.
