Over the years, we’ve been trying to come up with the best way to say, “Hello, we’re Neptune, and this is who we are.” It’s easy to learn that we’re an interiors brand – our stores, and our website will tell you that in no time. But while our designs are a huge part of who we are, ‘the why’ and ‘the how’ almost matter more than ‘the what’. It’s easy to tell you what we do, it’s harder to explain why. That’s where our philosophy – a different perspective – comes in. Three words that sum up our entire reason for being.

We’re Neptune.

We do what we do because we believe our designs can make your life that little bit happier, easier and better.

We do that with honesty, rigour and kindness, using the best materials, the most trustworthy of techniques, surrounded by people who genuinely care about creating things that are timeless. And we always lead with heart.

We’re a British-born and raised interiors and lifestyle brand who design and make furniture, lighting and accessories for your whole home.

Unhappy with my table and the service I received.

My light wood was delivered and there was a large black knot in the wood that looks like a big dirty mark which I’m not happy with. The one in the shop didn’t look like this. I phoned the store and was told it was the nature of the wood and meant they couldn’t guarantee a replacement wouldn’t be the same so they couldn’t exchange it. I had to chase twice to get this response as no one called me back when they said they would. The only option was a refund but I’d already ordered and paid for chairs to match. I realised the natural wood would have variations in it and would have been perfectly happy with that. But I’m left with no option but to keep a substandard table which I still like but isn’t great considering I paid £2,500 for it. I’m not impressed and probably won’t buy anything from Neptune again.

Bea at Neptune Bath was really…

Bea at Neptune Bath was really excellent in explaining what ex- display items were available and then keeping us posted.
The only downside was that the system for buying ex-display means that the store will not release the item until the replacement is guaranteed so that puts pressure on arranging collection.

It’s my second time of buying your…

It’s my second time of buying your white coffee table. I love it and the overall experience was excellent. Bath staff are lovely and the delivery/driver was courteous and helpful. Many thanks.
My marking was not a hundred percent because of charges for delivery. It was only a small table and I would have liked the option to pick up.

Lovely furniture, customer journey requires improvement

Lovely furniture, just a shame the customer service is lacking. The team in store were great although delays in delivery were poorly communicated and there seem to be multiple systems across the business that don’t talk to each other meaning lots of inconsistent messaging throughout our customer journey.

Excellent company

Excellent company. Their showrooms are incredible, beautifully decorated and arranged and I always feel that I can take my time when I’m visiting. Bought Arbroath baskets which I use for my shoe cupboard and for wardrobe storage. Beautiful baskets that last. Packaging fully recyclable and well packed. Very happy.

Dining table and chairs

I am over the moon with my table, chairs and console table. I also had the best advice from a lovely lady in the Bath store when choosing my chairs to go with my table. I have the smallest space to furnish and the help and advice I was given was excellent.

A very mixed experience

The manager in the store was very helpful and had a lot of time for us when we visited on the 20th October.
We returned on the 21st to order the mirror we had seen. Whilst paying for this, and a few other items from the store, I asked if there was an NHS discount, explaining I had been given a candle when buying Ludlow stools in another store.
One of the other members of staff sitting at the table was very direct and rude saying ‘we have customers who spend thousands in here’.
This just isn’t what I expect from a store I have previously really enjoyed visiting and buying items for my home.
I will think twice about returning to this store.

My husband and I were very disappointed…

Myself and my husband were very dissapointed to have brought our friends here to show them our new kitchen ideas and to be met with such an unfriendly atmosphere. It felt like we were an inconvenience in the Neptune shop.
Thankfully our visit in to the connecting cafe was a warm welcome as always, a delicious lunch and scrummy cake! A completely different experience from the cold Neptune shop.

Uncomfortable

As a frequent customer of the shop in Bath, and an avid Neptune fan, my last few visits here have been underwhelming. Most recently last week. The staff seem miserable and the atmosphere is awkward. I try and get in and out as fast as possible. There is an air about the place that is uncomfortable and I almost dread walking in. I think I will shop online from now on.
