Aside from the initial phone call that I missed, there has been no contact from nesto. Calls and messages were unanswered. After a month I called the general line to follow up, made 2 appointments, wasted 2 hours waiting for a call that never came. Maybe I just got assigned a bad agent, but this was a complete waste of my time. Just let me withdraw my application.

I found Nesto via online search and was lucky enough to be put into the hands of Elischa and Laura. The communication and response time was incredible. Document submission was easy. I was buying without real estate agent for the first time and was very impressed with the level of knowledge.

The whole process is clearly layed out, with helpful and friendly humans, an easy and clear web interface to use, and amazing rates when I compared to all others this summer. Thank you for the help!

I didn't know nesto and contacted them because their low rate came up in an online search, but found the service to be far from cut price.
As relatively new arrivals in Canada we didn't have huge experience in mortgage applications, but our advisor Elischa and processor Alin gave really clear advice and instructions and were very pleasant to deal with. Time is always of the essence with such things, but I felt supported rather than pressured. The online portal was a straightforward way to apply and upload all the necessary documents.
What could have been a stressful experience was pleasingly simple, and nesto will certainly be top of mind when we next move or want to remortgage.

Nesto claims their approvals (or decisions) take 24-48 hours after document submission. But that’s a bold-faced lie. My application has been in limbo for over a week now, and every question about timeline is responded to with more requests for documents and clarifications and even a race-based assumption! I understand the underwriting process—a bunch of pencil pushers with the collective flexibility of a mummified corpse—but that doesn’t excuse that they only ask for more info when their delays are questioned. There's no proactive effort to clarify everything all at once from the start. Delays, avoidance, more questions in poorly phrased English, and then silence until they get a bit more pressure. It’s been an entirely disappointing experience that has also tarnished my opinion of EQBank, with whom I’ve banked with since their consumer inception. I didn’t even need a positive answer, just _an_ answer in the promised timeframe.

Elischa offered us an incredible level of service. He was approachable, efficient and offered fantastic insight to the current economic portrait. We would not hesitate one moment to do business with him again in the future.

My experience with nesto was excellent, the entire team was very helpful and transparent throughout my experience. I would definitely recommend nesto for anyone looking for a mortgage and I will strongly consider them for my next new one. The only reason I didn’t sign on with a switch to nesto is because my current lender decided to compete with their rates, making it easier for me to stay with my current lender instead of jumping through all of the remaining hoops required. We buy for underwear they have mention for underwear cannot try it.but I did not notice the message I bring fitting room two underwear box and other pen also but I did not try for both I wear one.One staff see that the name is SAMIKSHA the lady ask about that and then she say I have to pay for that ok I will buy and than she looking around to me and looking it not comfortable to shopping and then she asks me to pay for both but my mistake I bring long pen and two underwear but I not wear all in my hand only I look that and than she talk to me rude and she call security also they both the talk me pay for that .After my mistake I say sorry I can’t pay for both but they talk rude and they say you have to pay for that and then they call again Supervisor ,the Supervisor is good he talk nicely and he apologized also after we pay for that and I say sorry also but the Staff lay and Security stay in counter and they are talk again. I very disappoint for the buying .Please attention to this Staff -SAMIKSHA the lady .

The company was very transparent from the start of the process. Interest rate, no additional charges at any stage. Communication is excellent and the whole process was simple.

From the customer service rep I initially spoke to, through to the mortgage processor, everyone has been professional, responsive, and positive. A special shout out goes to the mortgage broker I worked with, Nisrine Laanan: She turned what could have been a disaster (I'm looking at you, Nesto) into one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. She understood the urgency of my situation and had everything turned over for final approval within 4 business days. Compared to the 15 plus days I spent working with Neo, NESTO was like those fingers of light that cut through the clouds on an overcast day.

The story: After working with a Neo broker for 15 days (5 days after I was supposed to have final approval to secure the sale) I was informed by the Neo broker that the lender didn't accept the FTHBI as part of the down payment! He knew from day one I was using this as part of my down payment. He even had the completed forms.

If it wasn't for Nisrine and Alin at NESTO, there is a very good chance the property would have been sold to one of the many people who submitted offers after I did.

I have zero hesitation in recommending Nesto to anyone interested in financing their home purchase online.

Based on my research, Nesto offers the most competitive rates on the market with upfront transparency. I highly appreciate the fact that I do not need to play the negotiation game with lenders to push them to maybe finally show me the best deal. The online platform works great. Whenever I phoned, the agents were always efficient and friendly. One area of improvement could be to use video conferences with clients, especially when it comes to explaining math calculations.
