We have just (November 2025) returned from a 5 week self-drive holiday in New Zealand, split roughly equally between the North and South Islands. We had initially planned to go earlier in the year, but had to change the dates due to hospital appointments. The whole experience, from start to finish, including changing all the bookings, worked like clockwork. We had no difficulties or unexpected hitches with any of the flights, hire cars or motel accommodation. New Zealand Sky and their agents in NZ kept us well informed throughtout, even to the extent of advising us of road closures along our planned route before we left the UK. The pre-departure information was personalised, very comprehensive and included helpful suggestions of what to do in different locations, the facilities in our various motels, route guidance etc. Overall it was a very memorable experience and I can recommend New Zealand Sky without hesitation.

Brilliantly organised holiday to New Zealand for my wife and myself! From start to finish everything was perfect. Flights, hotels, itinery, excursions all organised for us with enough room to add in bits as we wanted. Truly the holiday of a lifetime.

Just back from a 30 day self drive holiday in New Zealand. Everything was organised brilliantly and Charlotte at NZ Sky did a great job of organising it, keeping us informed and answering questions.

Informative and flexible planning from Charlotte in UK ensured a memorable drive around New Zealand's awesome destinations. All details including carhire, accommodation ferry travel and domestic flight were booked and provided in an easy to follow app. Easily accessible assistance in NZ promptly fixed re-arranged travel and accommodation due to unexpected change in plans. No hesitation in recommending tropicalsky/ newzealandsky for future travels.

We contacted New Zealand Sky back in 2022 with a view to organising a self drive tour in 2024. Brendan Prendergast was quick to contact us and see exactly what we wanted from the holiday. Once we had decided he came back a few days later with a 23 day self drive tour which looked perfect. Well we have just returned from the tour and to say it was fantastic doesn’t do it justice. When you consider the amount of motels we stayed in, the number of flights, booked trips, car hires and train journeys there was only one slip up which was the motels fault. All in all the experience of a lifetime. We cannot thank Brendan and Louise, the in country contact, enough. The app with a 114 page detailed itinerary, list of motels, booking reference numbers and directions to each motel was fantastic.
We will definitely use Brendan and NZ Sky again on a future trip we hope to make to NZ over their winter in a few years.

We had a totally amazing holiday! All the staff were helpful and efficient at the booking phase and everything ran like clockwork. All the details of our trip were uploaded in an easy-to-use app so all we had to do was check each day what we needed to do and everything that was booked ran very smoothly and all hotel check-ins, taxi pick-ups and tours check-ins went without a hitch and meant we could focus on having a totally amazing holiday! The tours were briilliant and helped us to see experience parts of the country that we probably wouldn't have found on our own (our favourite was the TSS Earnshaw steam boat trip and the meal at the Walter Peak farm!). I cannot receommend NewZealandSky highly enough and would use them or their associated businesses for any future trips where I can.

Just returned from a 30 day trip to New Zealand (length and breadth).
The itinerary was excellent but be prepared for a couple of long driving days. My daughter and I shared and stopped for second breakfast and lunch most days to break it up. You both get to enjoy the scenery too.
The organisation was flawless and a minor change in private transfer requested by us was done in 30 minutes.
We also found we had plenty flexibility to fit in extra activities and juggle where things changed (e g. Whale watching delayed).
New Zealand Sky (Charlotte) set everything up this end and Sabina at NZFT in New Zealand was great.
One last personal note. When in Queenstown please visit Glenorchy - it is paradise on a good day.

An amazing round the world trip to New Zealand via Singapore and Vancouver on the way back.

Accommodation was excellent with a warm welcome everywhere and a brilliantly arranged itinerary in New Zealand enabling us to cover both islands in 2 weeks.

Some memories will stay with us for ever - landing on Fox Glacier in shorts, bathing at Hanmer Springs, Zealandia Project, cruising Milford Sound, the geysers / mud pools at Rotorua and the wonderful Te Ra / Te Po.

The suggested tours were great and showcased the beauty, wildlife, landscapes and unique culture of New Zealand.

When the whale watching trip in Kaikōura was cancelled due to weather conditions NZ Sky were in touch immediately via the App. confirming a full refund.

Brendan and the team were fantastic from start to finish.

The experience was excellent - we will definitely be working with Brendan again on further adventures.

We used New Zealand Sky in 2019 when they arranged us a self drive tour of both South and North island. They enabled us to customise what we did so that the holiday was just what we wanted. Everything went so well that we immediately got in touch with them this year to arrange another visit to New Zealand in 2024. When arranging this return trip New Zealand Sky have been very responsive and have amended the tour to meet our interests. Now we can’t wait to go

Just back from a 24 day tour of New Zealand arranged by Jenn at New Zealand Sky, covering both North and South Islands, and with a 3 night Singapore stopover on the way there.

We originally discussed our wishes with Jenn, who advised us and answered our endless questions with patience and good humour. We booked in 2019 to travel in 2020, but for obvious reasons this did not happen. NZSky offered to hold our deposit for up to 5 years to rebook after the pandemic. Early in 2023 we reactivated the itinerary Jenn had helped us to plan, and with a couple of tweaks we set off last month.

Everything ran smoothly, and was exactly as described, if not better. We found a couple of complementary upgrades on the way, and whilst we had both paper- and App-based references for our bookings, we never had to refer to them as all the providers knew our names. Once or twice we used in-App messaging to confirm matters with the NZ based team whilst travelling, and always got fast and effective responses. Sadly a balloon flight had to be cancelled due to poor weather, but there was no problem with obtaining a refund which was then available to pay for other attractions with the balance refunded on our return home.

The teams in NZ and UK worked well together and we would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone wanting to explore the fantastic country that is New Zealand.

I made an order for airfry since Nov 19th 2022, till now, I have not received the order. Iam now asking for a refund.
I would have given 0 star if it was possible.

Don't understand how come subscribers gave them 4.5 stars. Worst ever customer service in New Zealand. Wait time 2 hr 20 mins to speak to a representative? Is this a joke? No call back option just wait for someone to answer your call. Absolutely pathetic. This shows the advantage of monopoly in this country. Unbelievable. Absolutely rubbish customer service. Feel like unsubscribing.

Good, friendly service in the UK who was able to make recommendations to vary the itinerary to fit in with our timescales. Everything worked out very smoothly in New Zealand - good instructions, places of interest good car, clean and friendly motels.

Very professional company, arranged my tailor made itinerary, I could not fault this company in any way, with excellent back up in the countrys I visited.
There are very few travel company in my opinion that i have used that offer this high level of service.

An excellent company with a family feel. It was great to be communicating with the same person all the time. I requested several changes to the itinerary, some of them quite late, but all were done quickly and with no sense of trouble. Traveling alone and driving some long distances I never felt uncomfortable because the local partner company was readily available and equally helpful. The accommodation was mostly excellent and never less than good. All the arrangements worked like clockwork making it possible for me to pack in so many amazing experiences without worrying about the basics.

We've just returned from New Zealand having had the most amazing holiday. I can't praise New Zealand Sky highly enough for putting the itinery together and suggesting the places we stayed. The accommodation was superb and everything went like clockwork. We were thrilled to bits when we were contacted during our holiday to be told the the Tranz Alpine train was back in action after the forest fires had damaged some bridges and so were booked back on it.
We really couldn't fault anything. Highly recommended!

The holiday worked like clockwork no hassles whatsoever. Plans were changed at relatively short notice due to things outside anyone's control but there was no problem reorganizing places to stay. An excellent service.
