JRN Retail Group Limited - In Administration 

I placed an order for a child's watch and matching necklace a week ago. Best price on the Internet by far. I was telling my daughter about the this company and she made a comment about whether they were a good company as we'd never heard of them. I did a search and then, seeing all the negative reviews and talk of them possibly having gone under, I started to get a little worried. I manage to contact them via the email service they use and awaited a reply. I checked their website the next day and it was down due to maintenance issues and has been down since. At this point, I basically wrote the goods (and my money) off and kicked myself for not researching the company before placing my order. I think I got carried away as the items were almost 50% cheaper than any other site and there was only one of each in stock. Then, to my surprise, on Wednesday I received an email and sms stating that my goods had been despatched via Royal Mail, but with no tracking number. Lo and behold, they've turned up today, well packaged and with beautiful gift boxes and bags. Thank you Nigel O'Hara.

Its a scam, quite a blatant one if only I had seen this site before purchasing. It has cost me money as well as being a massive pain (even if I do get refunded from my credit card) I needed what I ordered by the date it was supposed to arrive for my business!!!

The online ordering process was easy & quick but felt secure. I was updated on shipping progress via text message which was very useful. The package was well wrapped. I will buy from this site again.

This place is an absolute joke!!!!! Telling me my order cannot be fulfilled and they don't know when I will get the money. Absolutely disgusted by this.

Here is the customer servies number, they will tell you that is isnt the customer services team and say it's the warehouse, be persistant.

I ordered the Joseph Joseph chopping board and knive set. It was at least £10 cheaper than anywhere else. It arrived within 3 days, well packed and a great product.

Got an order pending and they took the money and are still advertising logged in and got this message

Please do not panic, as you will be able to obtain a full refund via the method of payment used to complete your purchase on our website.

Simply contact the bank or credit card used for your purchase, then ask them to initiate a chargeback for the transaction.

This process will see the money returned to you in full.

We wish to sincerely apologise for the obvious inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer any further customer support or refund solutions.

Ordered an item and they charged my card immediately. Two weeks later without any further updates on the order status, I visit to check. I'm greeted with a message saying that they:

1) can't fulfil the order
2) can't issue a refund directly
3) will not "accept" any customer service requests in relation to the order

I'm told I need to contact my credit card company for a refund. What a joke. Avoid these shysters.

I ordered a vacuum cleaner it never arrived contacted them twice they said that they were waiting for it coming in from manufacturer. Then a notice came up saying the order had be cancelled, they would not be giving a refund and to contact my bank.
Have now contacted my bank and they will reclaim the money.
Wish I had read the reviews before ordering they have been pulling this scam for many year by the looks of things.

Looked around for the best deal and found it with Nigel O Gara.....or so I thought!! Two months down the line they have been unable to fulfil the order. Looks like they have now gone bankrupt, yet are still trading online. No refund from them and have been instructed to open a dispute with my bank. Absolutely disgusting.

Had the best price online - but never delivered or refunded.
The only email I got from them was to tell me they're no longer in business and won't refund. I am fuming😡.
I went on their website and they're still taking orders!!
I have reported them to the Government consumer department in Northern Ireland.

I purchased a pair of headphones over 6 months ago from them. They never sent them and STILL have not refunded my money!! They lie and say it is coming soon. I have contacted watchdog and citizens advice who have in turn contacted trading standards. I can't work out if this company is actually a con company seeing as though they have essentially stolen £20 from me. I really don't know what to do to get my money back now.
The Small Claims track allows any claimant to make a civil claim of £10,000 or less against any defendant for a nominal fee (starting at approx £30). However as my headphones cost £20 I don't want to spend more money than they are worth!
I regularly contact them and I am told my money is coming but I never receive it.
If anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it!!

In response to your reply - it has been 6 months since I purchased from your website and for 6months you have still been trading and lying to me about giving me my money back and making up excuses to delay so you can keep my money. Everyone who works at the company who has been complicit in this and sending me emails full of lies - you should all be ashamed and disgusted with yourselves. Lying and stealing from honest people. I don't know how you live with yourselves.

Purchased a TV from this croed. After 3 weeks waiting I cancelled the order. Was not offered a refund but told to iniate a charge back throgh my credit card company. This could take weeks. I am disgusted at this company and what make it worse Nigel Ohara has his business as a jeweller in my home town. Feel like going down to his shop and give him a bit of my mind.

I ordered a camcorder, a week later I enquired about it & was told it was on order. Another week later I just happened to check the status of it myself only to be met with an alarming red message that Nigel O'Hara could not only not fulfil my order but would then also would not be giving me a direct refund I had to contact my bank & start dispute actions!!
Seriously in this modern world we live in a refund etc is a quick a simple process!
I also had on order (no' 164209) a Teddy bear with change of outfits a simple gift for my daughter for Christmas. This too was not fulfilled & I have to start another dispute action. This is ridiculous & this one in particular really frustrating as the items are showing IN STOCK and available for next day delivery!! Seriously how does this even make sense?
I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN & I will encourage my friends & family to do the same! Also highly suspicious that there is no way of contacting anyone directly to talk about these issues, the "live" support online is a joke it's just a automated response to a list of questions, no way of actually speaking directly either online or via phone. Also comments from Facebook seem to be hidden, hiding others complaints no doubt, & no way of leaving a post etc!
Very unhappy - worst service EVER!!

Unbelievable business model. Advertise product they don't have at below the market price. Put it on backorder and then eventually cancel when they realise there is no hope of ever supplying the product. At least they get to keep your money for a month in the meantime.
Also they do not refund, but make you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer, probably why they don't accept PayPal, it amazes me how they can remain in business.

Ordered a chevalier white electric fire , after 3 days checked status of order which said ONHOLD , so i contacted them via email to be told they could not fulfil order as could not get the stock .......ok , asked if i would like something similar or immediate refund i opted for the 2nd option , after several emails all replying the same message finance department dealing with it after 5 WEEKS contacted my bank to do a chargeback . PLEASE AVOID UNLESS YOU CAN AFFORD TO LEND THESE GUYS MONEY .

Order placed 23/10/15 and did not hear until 06/10/15 when I was informed they were having difficulties with supplier. I was given the choice of waiting or having a refund. Opted for refund only to hear on 09/11/15 that they are not be able to fulfil my order or provide me directly with a refund.

I have had to chase a refund through my credit card company. Whilst I am sure they will be operating within the law, it appears to be very poor practice to not offer a refund, and from reviews elsewhere on the internet it does not look like I am the only one to have such an experience.

Avoid!

I ordered merchandise on 8/13 at 11:42 and received a verification of my order. My credit card was charged the same day. After not getting any shipping or tracking information after the next week, I proceeded to contact them using their email customer service link.The items were and have been in stock this whole time, and I really wanted them. I emailed them no less than a dozen times. Never did I receive a single response. Never the courtesy of any response whatsoever. I even tried calling the physical store, and although they were nice, they did not help me either. They gave me a phone number that did not every get me to a person. In my last email contact, I warned them that I would share this with every review site I could find. Still not one word.
I have had to dispute this charge through my credit card in order to get my money refunded.
Trust these reviews; this company does not care at all. They will take your money, and you'll never hear from them again. Plus they will object to any bad review here; how nice they have the time to do that when they couldn't simply respond to my email -- and you have to fight, and fight and fight and fight to get it posted here once they do. I'm sure many people just give up trying to post their negative reviews here, so what you do see if positively skewed.

When I placed my order , I was promptly informed by txt on a delivery date and true to word I received my order by royal mail a few days after I placed my order. I was very happy with this site and would order from here again .thankyou N O Hara. Great service

I used this site as the tv i was looking was was cheaper here than everywhere else. My money was taken instantly (£230). It took them about 3 weeks to tell me the tv was not available and offered an alternative or a refund. I opted for the refund to be told between 8 and 12 days. 18 days later i was then told it could be up to 20 days. 25 days later i was told it was with the finance department and i should get it soon. Today i was told i'll have to chase it through my bank as it cant be processed now. Absolute rip off merchants. Avoid at all costs!!!!
