Used this company to pay for the Bristol clean air zone in November 2024. Paid £15. Today 03/01/2025 i have recieved a letter from Bristol council saying I failed to pay the CAZ and have been charged £129.
I am going to fight it but these guys at least work for the scammers who took my money and didn't pay onto Bristol council. THIEVES

Dart crossing scamAs others have said
As others have said, I was caught by the Dart crossing charge. As a scam this is quite expensive and not feeling confident, paid through the official Gov website as well. No way to cancel the scammers charge.

BEWARE SCAM!!!!!!!!
Do not trust this company, I paid for the Bradford CAZ charge through these by accident and not through the GOV website as it was one of the first ones to come up and they just rob your money without paying for it and charging £14 instead of the £9 it should actually be. I have since received a penalty notice from the Bradford council but they still claim you have to pay the notice and next time do it directly through there site not through a scam site 😡

Paid through you to Dart-Crossing for…
Paid through you to Dart-Crossing for two crossings. After seeing reviews on here I checked to see if the payment has been made to the gov.uk Dartford crossing site it hasn’t. If I hadn’t checked I could have received a large fine. The company charged £8 instead of the proper fee of £5 for 2 crossings .I have received no reply from Dart Crossing so would like a refund from you Tried to e mail you but it wouldn’t send.
.I note the answer from your company but surely you should be making sure your customers are honest and above board. I should have noticed with a name like yours no chex (checks);The end result wouldn’t be good.🤔😠

These thieves have caught me out in…
These thieves have caught me out in Newcastle, checked if my car was ulez compliant, they said no so I paid £14. Talking to a friend afterwards I checked the car on the .gov website to find my car is compliant and should have been free. And it seems the DVLA are complicent in this scam as they pass your vehicle details over to these robbing bar-stewards
PS, after raising the issue with Nochex I have received a full refund

I would not use this company again - beware when searching for Ulez clean air zone as this company comes up ahead of the official gov website and is £14 not the £8 via the gov website. Lesson learnt !!!

Don’t use this company
This company pays Google to boost its webpage to the top of the search page so it’s easy to think it’s the actual Dart Crossing Charge website when they aren’t.
They then overcharge you for the crossing and as a third party payment system you have no protection if they then don’t pay Dart for the crossing with many people getting penalty notices that they have to pay with and Nochex pocket your money. This company should be stopped.

If you're looking to take payments on any website or business ventre whatever you do don't use nochex.
Just read the other reviews, this company have the worse customer service ever. They stole money from my client and held it for over 6 Months refusing to respond to emails.
As I work in web development I get through benefit of advising my customers on merchants and who to use for payments, following on from the worse experience ever with a merchant I disabled all other customer options to ever use nochex and removed this option. Any customer that asks me about them I have first hand experience and proof so I steer clear all of my customers and anyone that asks me about them.

i used this site thinking it was legitimate way of paying clean air zone as it came up at top of list . they took payment and sent me a receipt and an email that looked legitimate : i then get a penalty notice from bristol council and have to pay £120 plus the £9 . when you see this charlatan companies response saying they are a payment processing company , they may well be for legal reasons but they don’t pass your payment to cover the clean air zone . make sure when you pay you use the direct gov website . i am reporting this company to trading standards and hope they will be closed down . there may be loopholes in what they are set up as but in reality they are fraudsters

Back in August used Dartford crossing…
Back in August used Dartford crossing south to take my 93 year old father on a trip with family,we all paid the £5.50 toll when we received mail from Nochex,I have now received a bill of £117.50 but other family members didn't having paid the same time as me,which is rather suspect and corrupt.I have contacted enforcement to which they replied with I still have to pay them.Nochex themselves have contacted enforcement on the unfair fine considering we all breathe the same air and being fined for breathing the same air and by doing the right thing by paying the toll,to which I'm waiting on a reply.The advice given was to fill out a TE9 form by the 2nd December.
GBnews has done report on this ongoing problem on the 11/11/24 at 8.01am.
Update: on the response,I have a screenshot with the title Nochex sent a request for payment,which was paid within the time limit sent?.The screenshot is clear of payment to Nochex.It was reported the cameras were faulty since July?.Like I said,I was fined but other members were not and we paid the same way through Nochex at the same time,funny that.
