Super Service but client review needed for the future.
I too was scammed by a Bristol Clean Air Zone company SKM Group Limited, purporting to be a collector for Bristol City Council.
I contacted Nochex on 0113 819 7211 and my credit card was refunded immediately.
The service was first rate but Nochex need to investigate and review their association with SKM Group Limited as it appears that several people have to chase up Nochex for refunds.

I was scammed by a clean air zone payment site (SKM Group Limited) and spotted that they used Nochex to process the payment.
I contacted Nochex directly. They were very responsive and arranged an immediate refund.

Scamming specialists. We had to be refunded by our credit card company.
Not mistaken. Nochex fraudulently took money from my credit card for a non existent clean air zone.
Scamming specialists using Google search to take illegal payments for clean air zones .
Fake email address and no phone calls answered
Known scammers reviewed all over the Internet. Nochex.com
They claim it is not them.
Legislation will be closing them down soon. Beware they use Google search in their scamming.
Go through your credit card company to receive full charge back.

I like many others used a scam company…
I like many others used a scam company to make my cleaner air payment in Portsmouth. I knew nochex was a payment processing company and so emailed the scam website first. After no reply for two days I called nochex on 0113 819 7211 and spoke to a lovely lady who issued me a refund immediately. Excellent service and not what I expected.

NOCHEX FRAUDULENT CHARGING
As several others have experienced, I wanted to check if my car was eligible for a charge for Bristol clean air zone. This site came first on Google search and I paid £14. I checked with Bristol CC and there should not be any charge. TOTAL FRAUD. The response they post here is nonsense. The telephone numbers go straight to voicemail and 'raising a ticket' only requires you to give them more personal information. They are scammers. BEWARE.

I have just been defrauded by Nochex
I have just been defrauded by Nochex. Payments online as the payment provider pretends to be a partner of Dartford Tunnel which they are not. Received a receipt from Nochex but Dartford Tunnel said it was a scam. Do NOT Trust!!
Thanks for the reply - please more due diligence needed to ensure you are not facilitating fraud. You are not as rushed as people travelling and needing to make a swift payment or be fined in this particular case.

If I could give a -5* that would be my rating! I googled clean air zone selected Portsmouth and it told me I needed to pay £14, I paid but then realised I had used the gov website previously and there was no charge so double checked and known behold there was no charge for my visit! I requested a refund within 10 minutes of my payment by selecting the link that is sent with my receipt of payment for the email to bounce back! Here I am a week later still no word from these fraudsters, how they are able to operate is beyond me I shall be going to the ombudsman as how many people are these guys ripping off and getting away with it

Paid £8 to this site for Dartford crossings before realising .gov official site is £5. Just go to .gov dartford crossing to pay. TBF they have since fully reimbursed me

Scammers stay away from them
Like many people have said, a company facilitating scammers like SKM GROUP LIMITED charging you fake fees and not transferring your money to the service you are paying for. On the Dartford Crossing i paid through this website dartfordcrossing.online with payment facilitated by Nochex to receive two penalty charges for non payment of the crossing. Now both companies claiming they are not scammers and will reimburse me, sure thing. You can report them at the ncsc website and here at the Action fraud website.
Please do it so they cannot scam any more people.
