If you are looking to set up a competition site look no further! After trying a few different options and being knocked back these guys made it easy to get going. There are a list of things you need to have in place to be approved but then you know your site is fully legit before starting.
The staff are extremely helpful and always on hand if you have any issues I couldn't thank them enough.

Scams – how to get compensation
Like many others, I was the victim of the Dartford tunnel scam with Nochex processing the payment. Here’s how I appealed my Penalty Charge Notice and got Nochex to pay me £300 compensation. It will probably work for other scams they facilitate.
1. I paid £6 for the Dart charge on the scam website, then got a £70 Penalty Charge Notice. I emailed the scam website but got no reply to my request for help and compensation.
2. I appealed the penalty, was rejected, then referred it to the Traffic Penalty Tribunal (following instructions on the notice). I offered to pay the Dart charge (£2.50) but appealed the £70 penalty on the basis that the Department of Transport should not profit from victims of a scam, and should be doing more to close scam websites. The Department immediately settled my appeal, so I didn’t have to pay the penalty.
3. I complained to Nochex using the complaints email address on their website. I claimed the £6 payment plus £300 for my distress and inconvenience, on the basis that they should do more to check that the merchants they serve are genuine. I immediately got repayment of the £6 but they refused my compensation claim.
4. I then emailed Nochex saying I would refer my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (Nochex are regulated by the FCA, so the Ombudsman will look at complaints about Nochex payment processing as long as you act within 6 months). Nochex quickly offered to arrange for the scammer to send £300 compensation to my bank account. I insisted the payment come from Nochex itself as I didn’t want to share my bank details with the scammer. I got the £300 from Nochex very quickly.
If you have to send your complaint to the Ombudsman, it’s an easy process on their website. Even if you don’t get a reply from Nochex, you can go to the Ombudsman after 8 weeks. The Ombudsman’s website says it will award compensation for distress, with “up to £300” and “up to £750” categories likely to be relevant to this scam. You could also get compensation for the cost of the penalty if you pay that.
Nochex are likely to pay compensation, if you threaten to go the the Ombudsman, because it costs them a lot of money if you complaint to the Ombudsman.
Good luck! The more people complain, the more likely Nochex will stop helping these scammers.
